You will get a letter in the mail from FMCSA for your audit call. Do this ASAP. It’s easy, they basically just go over your application to verify what you’ve entered.

You have to wait 21 days from the time you apply for your Authority and you want to make your insurance effective a couple days prior to that to make sure the insurance company has time to process the filings so your MC will be active on the 21st day.

Amazon does not work with 16 foot Boxtrucks. They require 26 footers as you have to be able to hold 12 pallets

How do you find a good broker?

can you please talk about how you are paid by your brokers?, do you use factoring, or just wait until you receive payment 30-45 days later.
I will be talking about factoring in an upcoming video. How you chose is a matter of preference. We prefer to get paid in 24 hours so we factor. I will talk about what that means in an upcoming video okay ?

Number 16 is apply to brokers. That is for drivers so that they can already be set up with brokers when they are looking for loads on the loadboard

We are doing our own bookkeeping for now. We are new to this trucking and learning. If I have someone else do them in the future, I dont want to be ignorant to how they should be done

How much insurance does. Landstar require?
I’m not sure because our insurance matched Amazon requirements so when they saw what we had they just said we had enough. You can call and get set up with Landstar and they will let you know
How do you sign up with land star without a sleeper?
You don’t need a sleeper to run loads for landstar

Commercial General Liability not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 in the aggregate. Auto Liability not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence, including a trailer replacement coverage of $50,000. Cargo coverage of least $100,000.
The trailer replacement. Since we are not pulling a trailer, is this something that could be or is waived for box truck drivers.
I couldn't get this info from Amazon.
Please help, I'm in the mist of receiving quotes.
Trailer replacement is not applicable to a Boxtruck and neither is the workman’s comp portion.

@@TheBoxtruckCouple Those requirements are listed as 'must have requirements' to Setup with Amozon Relay, as though, they themselves are not considering 'box truck' drivers in their onboarding. Seems should have a separate 'must have requirements' specific to Box Trucks.

Truck note, Insurance, MC filing, LLC filing. I've asked my insurance provider with a mock up based on Amazon's insurance requirement, figuring it may be the going rate for brokers. Can you prove me with the general coverages you all use so that I can submit that to my agency, it would help me tremendously in getting a broader view of my possible monthly experiences. This is scary..😀😨

Until you get delivered motive will send you documentation that your EOD is on the way, and you can use the app to login and out of your ELD until it comes
