Hey Walter, you need to pack the wheel bearings with bearing grease, not gear oil! The bearings will not last with the gear oil. The oil is for differential's not bearings! I suggest that you take it apart and pack the bearings with bearing grease or you will have problems! Love your videos!
@@gordonward4086 that’s what I was saying to, that bearing needs grease not oil. You don’t want to get out on the road and that bearing heat up on you.
He would need to remove, clean, and re-pack with grease and re-install.

I will agree , but for us it was time to sit the truck down and do the maintenance on the whole truck, we have other businesses that keeps us afloat enabling us to shut down for awhile, we also have a low overhead which enables us to take a break ( very much needed) from the hustle and bustle of crazy world we live in.The wife and l was able to send more in the together and in the ministry while the truck was being repaired . So each person has to decide what’s best for their situation. Stay safe out there and make some Money Money 💰.😂😂😂

Not to be negative, but time is money. You stated the truck was down several weeks because of this issue. That’s money lost, plus the hours Walter spent doing the job (labor rate: $135/hr) plus parts. Then gas for trips to and from service providers and parts stores. I changed my oil once to see what I would save, I only saved about $100 which was the labor, oil and filters was same charge as the oil change place. Then the issue was I had to by a 55 qrt oil drain pan, lug it to a place that would dispose of it and the massive cleanup from the oil and fuel spilled. It was just easier and cost effective to spend the Money Money Monea! Especially since it’s all tax deductible expenses.
I spend like 100$ oil and filter to do my own oil change and it takes me like 30 mins bro. You aint doing something right. All you need its a 5 gallon bucket and a pump lid from amazon
@@rigobertoespinoza1685 truck takes 7 gallons, plus oil filter, fuel filter, air filter. That’s $400 in parts alone.

Yes they do and I guess I could have packed the bearings with grease but it call for Oil as a method for lubrication on this truck, I did the rear axle the same according to the manual and haven’t had any issues. Stay safe make some cash 💰

Here is some advice to yall when you title your videos. If this video would have been named how to fix such and such, you would get a lot more views from people trying to fix the same problem on their truck. So, don't focus on titling your videos to notify your regular viewers and show the fixing part first. Then at the end of the video do your thing with regular chat. That way if someone tunes in to see how to fix something they won't click away because you get to what they want to see. Title it to gain new subscribers and new viewers. Good luck to Lucille's recuperation.

Allowing forklifts on your truck is a personal decision. There are lots of freight items that can’t be loaded without a forklift because of the weight or awkwardness of the truck. Of course you want to pay attention to
Ensure that the forklift operator is being careful and handling your truck with care. If not you would simply turn down the loads that require a forklift.

Can you share where you buy the parts for your hino ?
I go to the Hino dealer and get the parts I like the OEM parts for the truck, great original fit . Other aftermarket may fit, but me and the customer service guy cross reference year, Vin number , part number for a better fit. Some parts I can go aftermarket and some I don’t.Stay safe. Yes it is a sealed axle, I replaced enter seal and it has the hub cap on the outside, where the oil is replaced and you can see the level of the oil with truck parked on level ground . Stay safe ✌🏾
My son spent a little over $1,000.00 for a mechanic shop to work on his car. About a couple weeks later, something else was wrong with it. SMH.

There are two kinds of greasing Oil & Grease . The manual said oil grease keeps the bearings lubricated, must do pre-tip to keep eye on oil level in hub caps.Stay safe make some money 💰 💰
