So this weird kid, Donald Pl--a-t, asked me to do something sexual in the woods behind the school. I didn't hang with him but I was the first girl to wear a mini skirt and white gogo boots to school. I think that made me look older or more wise to the ways of the world. He had been held back so he was older, by age alone. When I told Mrs. Hall the secret she sent me to the beehived and bedecked Principal. A big German woman which scared me on its own because I was a well seasoned kid at that age. TV was my best friend. So, the principal scolded me then told me I was not to wear that dress again. This perplexed me because I was trained at a very early age that sexuality was a valuable thing. That is a story only to be told when not recalling a good/bad/indifferent story. The next day they called us to the gym, girls first then the boys. We were told there were new rules. No mini skirts, no gogo boots, no perfume, nothing that would ride up when you sat down. No shorts in the spring and no wearing a sweater without a tee shirt under it. Then they played a short, scratchy reel to reel about a girls, coming of age. The voice over was on a record and I was distracted by the movie and sound not matching up. By the time it was over I noticed the teachers and that big German woman were looking at me, talking behind their hands to each other and by the time it was done I realized something big............. I made the school created a Dress Code! All I really wanted was to find out how to say no to him. I really needed that bit of information, it would have saved me a great deal of pain. Once again you have done it, great video. Sorry we missed the sand blasting of the parts, I was interested in how the cap being so thin would do, but obviously it went well. Keep up the good work and enjoy the butter milk.
I bet that butter was so buttery and extra butter flavored since you made it yourself from the butter maker you restored. So it has all the butteryness of butters made past, that's why that butter was so good because of all the previous butters that had existed because of that butter maker, it infuses butter you make with it now with extra butter essence, since any butter you now make with the restored butter maker is the spiritual successor to all the previous butter. Also you did a good job at the restoration so that helps too.
Nice! I'm not going to lie I was disappointed that the footage in the blasting booth was lost. For me that is some of the best parts of restorations. Eggcellent job, the Blow name and the shape of the mixer reminds me of blowing eggs. Your powder coating is getting better and better. We had goats when I was a kid and made butter and sold goats milk, the butter was delicious.I hope you enjoyed your after all that hard work! So enjoyed the video, keep them coming. That powder coating makes a great restoration into an awesome, top notch restoration. I have got to get mine together and start powder coating. Freaking awesome! Love it. B
I love buttermilk, but I prefer the full fat cultured kind. Homemade buttermilk is great in cooking though. It can be used in pancakes, biscuits, cornbread, batter coating for frying, there are lots of uses.
Perfect as usual and a big thumbs up for actually making butter and buttermilk. PS: If you love fried chicken soak it in buttermilk before breading and frying it, it's delicious!
Another flawless job. I think I may have added just a touch of HT wheel bearing grease in the differential. We had an Orange Juicer in the same color scheme. Evidently colorful kitchen gadgets were very popular post WWII. Thanks from Narragansett Bay.
Would you consider replacing the viewing window on the sandblaster? It’s pretty scuffed and hazy. Also adding a shelf inside would help keep the item in view easier. Thanks for a very cool channel, grandkids and I love watching.

Great job on the churn restoration. One tool you need for removal and installation of pins and rivets is a bench block. They come in quite handy.

First time I made butter was with one of these as a class project in 3rd grade (1968) We passed it around to spread the turning load.
