This feels so calming. Like watching your dad in the garage at night, making a table or something because of the background cicadas, crickets, frogs, and (rarely) owls.
My grandpa collected cast iron toys and figures. All of us loved to play with them. You did justice to this fantastic bank. The dark blue is beautiful and i am so pleased that you didn't repaint the figure!
My grandpa had a few of these. There was a bowling one he gave me where the coin rolled down the alley, and a Jonah and The Whale one where you put a coin on him and then his wife fed him to the whale, one where a dog jumped through a clown's hoop and put the coin in the barrel, and one where you shot the coin out of a cannon into a bunker and there was a solider who would signal when you shot it. I don't know when they were from but they're pretty cool.
This is not just a great example of restoration, it's also a mini film-making tutorial. You've got some wonderful angles and variety in what''s normally a wide shot/tight shot format. I'd love to see your setup for the 360 degree shot at 2:26.
Im from Macedonia and the first coin is 50 denari,its like 0.99 cents and we use them like a normal ordinary coins,they was produced in 2008 and still producing,greetings from Macedonia🇲🇰
I love how he uses the background noise outside of the garage instead of actual music. Its quite comforting with the video. To me it's a positive rating to the video and that it lets me know that I am willing to watch more of his videos rather than to ignore them. I love the videos and it gives me confidence to want to restore things that have been left behind and are damaged. That way I can bring them back to life like they are brand new.
Your camera work (shot angles, lighting as well as editing and transitions) is the best I've seen on youtube. The choices you make are artistic and interesting, even mesmerizing. It's even more amazing how you tell the story of your restorations with no voice-over. Great production work sir. Very impressive. Not to mention the results you achieve in restoring old rusty treasures, which takes great skill of a different type. So glad I found your channel. Keep up the good work
I remember visiting a home when I was a child. The inhabitants had a wonderful collection of these mechanical banks. No clue now who we visited. I just remember the banks. So cool!

You've probably already figured this one out but the first coin is 50 Macedonian Denars, MKD for short which is around 0.80 cents in Euros. It's not very old it was introduced a couple of years ago. Before it was introduced we only had a paper 50 denars. I have one in my pocket right now :) Great video by the way. Thanks!
