Restoring a vintage electric cooker with such a unique and endearing appeal is not only fascinating but also a heartwarming journey into the past. This title suggests a delightful blend 7:7 of nostalgia, meticulous craftsmanship, and a dash of whimsy, making it perfect for anyone who appreciates antique appliances brought back to life. It’s a fantastic choice for viewers who love restoration projects that combine both functionality and cuteness!
In the 1960s my mother had a 2 plate stove with an oven with silicone elements like the one in your video. This brings back a touch of nostalgia to me. Thank you for sharing this with us
I am very glad that you liked it and made this nice comment. I have accumulated a lot over the years. It makes me very happy to see that it is useful to me.❤❤❤It's good to have you here. I'm glad you're here. 😊❤
Hello. No, it wasn't underwater. I find these products in the warehouses of people whose grandparents have died. Either they are rusty and too bad to use, or they sell them very cheaply, or I find them abandoned in the garbage. I'm very glad you like it, thank you very much.❤️
Great job, friend. It takes not only skill, but also certain passion to take the time to restore an objet whose function one can find in very common and simple other objets that most of us have at home. I really like the matte, heat resistant, red paint that you chose for the cooker body; makes the objet look really nice. It is a bit strange to me the cup you chose for your coffe, I live at about 350 meters from the place Frida, along with her husband Diego lived, their house is now a museum. If ever you come to Mexico, please, don't miss a visit to that museum, and, please, let me know, It would be a great pleaasure to me to take you to a coffe shop in Coyoacán; I am sure you'll enjoy it. Warm regards from Mexico.
This nice comment made me very happy. I am very glad that you liked my work. This job is not just a passion for making money, it is a passion that I really enjoy. I heard that Frida and Diega's house is a museum. We would like to visit there with my girlfriend. I have registered your name. You will definitely be aware of our arrival. It would make me very excited and happy to go to a cafe in Coyoacan and chat with you with pleasure and sip our coffee. Thank you very much for this offer. I send our great love to Mexico and you.❤❤❤
👏👏👏👏👏 . Very good working and very beautiful arrived . You are professional in restoration things . I am studied in accademia di bella arti di firenze italy , in general restoration . Best wishes .
Usually, people whose grandparents have died find these things in warehouses or unused warehouses and either throw them away or think that they cannot be repaired and sell them at very cheap prices. I also buy them or find them.❤❤
It is said that it was very popular at the time. Internal heating elements generally do not change much in their construction and application even after years. I try to make the missing parts myself. When I call from outside, it sometimes takes weeks.❤
I am very happy that you watched and liked the video. Thank you very much for your warning. I promise to be careful. I send my big love to Finland.❤
I hope you wore some PPE when knocking, scraping, and drilling all that asbestos out of the bottom! I know it well, as all the pipes in my Dad's childhood home were coated in thick layers of it. He used to tell me and my sisters stories of plastering it up there with his bare hands with his dad when he was a kid in the 30s and 40s. 🤯
How you recognised what lay beneath all that filth and rust, I shall never know. Fabulous job. Well done. PS: Your coffee's not strong enough. Try Lavazza.
Believe me, I didn't know what it was. As I dug, I watched with amazement what would come out. Thank you for the coffee recommendation. I will definitely try it.❤❤❤❤
Maybe. When I bought it, his grandson said it belonged to his grandfather. However, since it was so covered, we both had a hard time figuring out what it was at first.❤
I'm sure everything will be fine. You just need to relax a little. Sit back, put your feet up and enjoy my videos. I'm sure it will be very good for you.❤
I love restoration but i always wonder where you find these overly rusted and crusted items. How would you even know what they even were. Where is this rusted boneyard of antique items?
These items are often found in the storerooms of people whose grandparents have died. Their children or grandchildren think they are beyond repair and either sell them at a very low price or throw them away. They end up forgotten in a corner. When I buy them I don't know what they are, sometimes I guess, which is fine when they are very cheap. Most of the time, as I investigate, I can figure out what it is and I start to fix it.❤
I hope you wore a mask while knocking off that old white stuff. It could of been asbestos. I know at one time it wasn't uncommon for asbestos to be used in electronics and wiring.
Thank you for the heads up! I was careful and wearing a mask. I am always trying to learn more about how to stay safe during restoration projects.Thank you very much for your warning.😊❤
Jesus Christ, my friend! Your work is cool, but reduce the amount of fade-out/fade-in! In less than 3 minutes you used it over 20 times! We use this feature for transitioning between scenes with different contexts (e.g., from cleaning to painting). Leave some parts without cuts as it makes the video flow better!

Was this salvaged from the Titanic?? lol. Great work!!
I was thinking about Atlantis in the first seconds 😆
I'm very glad you liked it. I didn't take it out of the sea, but I found it in a dirty warehouse abandoned to its fate.😊❤
@@AntiqueVintageRestoratioNs Must have been a warehouse that sat under saltwater for a couple of decades. What a rust bucket!!
Awesome little fund the reateration was amazing well dine i enjoyed watxhing that very much

It's a very old but very useful product. I'm very glad you liked it. Greetings.❤❤❤
That tool is awesome
Nice work. I like the comparison view showing the assembly and disassembly.
I'm glad you liked the comparison view! It took a lot of time and effort but it's worth it to see how things come together. 😊
These fun little "super-safe" gadgets were why homeowners insurance was invented! Beautiful restoration ✌️👍
@zyxw2000 right
I'm so glad you liked it. Thank you for this nice comment.❤
@AntiqueVintageRestoratioNs truly beautiful work
It's amazing what can hide underneath a pile of rust. Nice job.
Believe me, I didn't know what it was. What I discovered as I dug surprised me, too.❤
You have the best variety of tools for restoring. My fave restoration channel. ❤

I couldn't even tell what it was before the resto
Believe me, the more I dug, the more I saw what was underneath. I didn't know either.❤
These crusty old pieces look like they have been underwater
Me neither. It was a surprise.
I thought it was a rock honestly 😮
We can save a lot of money when he is at our house 😁
How?😁😁
Excellent & accurate job, Sir! 👍
Thank you very much. You can be sure that I will work harder to deserve your beautiful praise.❤❤
Love your presentation so much!!
I am very happy with this nice comment.❤❤
Was this little thing under water? I'm trying to understand where all the buildup came from. Great restoration.

It’s all fake buildup for the video. Plaster and paint will make it look real.
Great job, friend.

I'm so glad you liked it! I'm honored to have a fellow restoration enthusiast as a viewer. ❤
❤❤
Wow! What a transformation!
😊❤
Where do you even find projects like this? It just looked like a lump of crud! Looks great after you finished!
Usually, people whose grandparents have died find these things in warehouses or unused warehouses and either throw them away or think that they cannot be repaired and sell them at very cheap prices. I also buy them or find them.❤❤
Simply amazing!!
Thanks a lot.❤❤

How do you get the parts you need if it is old. You did an excellent job on this , was this a very popular item in its day.
It is said that it was very popular at the time. Internal heating elements generally do not change much in their construction and application even after years. I try to make the missing parts myself. When I call from outside, it sometimes takes weeks.❤
Awesome job
I'm so glad you liked it. ❤❤❤
i would of suggested an asbestos test with them electrical components
It's an important safety concern, thanks for mentioning it.

Me alegro mucho que te haya gustado. Los tornillos no estaban demasiado apretados. Solo usé removedor de óxido para ayudar.❤
Did you buy or make the new heating element? Subscribed.
I bought it. Welcome to the channel. I'm so glad to see you.❤
I am absolutely thrilled that you kept the bare wire with ceramic insulators technology.
I'm so glad you liked it.❤
Lindíssimo trabalho
Muito obrigado.❤
I’m so glad they num the pain of that because if a dentist doesn’t have numbing it’s gonna be painful
😉❤
Great restoration. Remember the risk for asbestos. Regards Stig Österberg from Dalsbruk in Finland.
Dear Stig Österberg. I am very happy that you watched and liked the video. Thank you very much for your warning. I promise to be careful. I send my big love to Finland.❤

What's the white stuff in the jar?
Aluminum oxide. Corrosive.
I hope you wore some PPE when knocking, scraping, and drilling all that asbestos out of the bottom! I know it well, as all the pipes in my Dad's childhood home were coated in thick layers of it. I am fully equipped during the restoration phase of the product. Thank you for your nice thought.❤

What’s the vibrating tool!
air scriber.Thanks for watching.
Great restoration, but I wouldn't have turned it on. It has no protection from overheating.
I will definitely take your suggestion into consideration in the future. Thank you very much. ❤

Excelente video!
I'm so glad you liked it. Thank you very much.❤
Wow !
❤❤❤❤
I want that cooker.
If you were here I'd be happy to give it to you.❤
This looks more like a hotplate from an old chemistry laboratory that might have been used for distillation or running chemical synthesis reactions.
Maybe. When I bought it, his grandson said it belonged to his grandfather. However, since it was so covered, we both had a hard time figuring out what it was at first.❤
I'm stressed so a restoration would be therapeutic. RUclips comes through for me again.
I'm sure everything will be fine. You just need to relax a little. Sit back, put your feet up and enjoy my videos. I'm sure it will be very good for you.❤

We're those bare wires set into asbestos?
Yes, the old electric cookers used to be made with asbestos.❤
👏👏👏👍👍👍
❤️❤️❤️❤️

I bet you didn’t drink the coffee. That looks like tea😂
Yes, we drank it, it was very delicious and very soft to drink.❤❤❤

How did you even know what that was
I didn't know either. The more I dug, the more I learned what was inside.❤
The good thing was sttaight away using sand blaster and no electrolosis, lemon vinegar BS
I'm glad you liked it. The method I follow varies depending on the product I repair.❤
