Very clever. I never thought it needed any explaining beyond how "One ship survived", but you do a good job. I always thought Skaro was devastated but intact after the Civil War since it appeared in the TV Movie and the more recent Asylum of the Daleks.
Dalek Tales was the most ambitious thing i have ever created, it was also the one thing the animation industry hate and that is copying a copyrighted thing, to them i brake rules and that would mean i would brake their rules so they wont trust me. but that is the complete opposite i only made this because of my love for the show i wanted to show what i could do and also it was to fix continuity errors and plot holes set by Steven Moffat which annoyed me and set me going.
Lee Adams but you've created plot errors in this, the crack is nothing to do with paradoxes, it's the explosion of the TARDIS. Also, if something is timelocked, it can't be time-unlocked.

As in part three I mention the Daleks are trying to work out what it is as importance which leads on to the pandorica opens which as you say is the tardis exploding. Hense how caan when through it as its a temporal explosion, we also know later on during matts last season that the crack lead to gallifrey. But at the time of making this I didn't know that. So I would change things now, its a fan film not canon but was as canon as I could make it at the time... That's why I made the new animation have nothing to do with what could change in the future of Doctor who and only stick to that era.

I really love the voices you did for this, especially the Supreme; it really sounds the part, and is very commanding and intimidating. When will you do more?
That was my interpretation, after going to Doctor Who live the eternal was introduced and his lines were spoken with a cold saying "Time parameters calculated and locked, a new future begins now", so thats why i had him create a temporal nural suppressor to show his affinity with time.
Watch and listen to what's said in Journeys end, caan went into the time war to rescue Davros. my animation from Caans point of view is set after he temporal shifted in Daleks in Manhattan and is the in-between episode bridging Daleks in Manhattan and Journeys end.. while also trying to make sense of Victory of the Daleks..
It is one of the things i wish i spent more time on, as ive said when i first started i have had to reduce my time on animation because of rendering time if i spent an extra month on the animation it would have ment longer for me to render and i also had payed work comming in so i had to compensate... if i had the chance i would re animate the whole thing add in slight twiches and slight rocking when they talk but im happy with how it turned out and its success. i will just do better next time.
I was being sarcastic with the alternate reality Davros, i know he's from our time from identifying Sarah Jane, it didn't come out right it was a joke towards the fact that the new series loves alternate realities. like i did say whatever happened who knows and it's something for me to think about for the future.

Blimey, is this series good! This is my favourite episode so far. Good job, you are a genius. If this isn't recognised as canon by Stephen Moffat or anyone else that works on Doctor Who, than they are just, simply, foolish.
I'll be honest. When I first saw these years ago, I thought these were like official dvd extras or something. These are great. Really adds to the lore.
I am so glad that Moffat is keeping both the old and new designs. Making the newer, larger designs an officer class, and keeping only the Supreme, Drone and Strategist models was a smart move, since there was nothing fundamentally wrong with them. It was only the Scientist and Eternal models that I hated. And the Time War-era Daleks are just so much fun to watch, so having them as the mass-produced cannon-fodder makes me giddy.
Great job! My only nitpick is that the Daleks countdown seems to be in earth seconds, while a Dalek Rel is around 1.2 earth seconds. I know, I´m really nitpicking here, but it may help in future projects.
Excellent work, and in particular praise for use of the music, the brief "twang" of the Davros theme when "The Creator" was mentioned was very nicely done.
These really are great, thanks for putting in the time. Whats next? A trip back to Spiridon to unfreeze the hundreds of thousands of Daleks still frozen underground? A revelation that Caan tricked the clone Doctor to wiping out the old Daleks to make room for the pure ones? Or maybe he even saved Davros from burning FIRST - then went back in time further to get the rest of the ball rolling. I love it. Keep em coming.
Also, whats good about your story is that the NP Daleks are in essence ensuring their creation/survival by having Caan essentially going to save Davros only to have them all destroyed bar 3 survivors who will locate the Progenitor for the NP Daleks to rise - bit of a time loop then. So, in itself you've created a good idea.
This is absolutely unbelievable!!! :D You are amazing. Not only is the story itself is fantastic but it also fits perfectly into canon and even fixes some plot holes, e.g. having the Daleks use the Time Lord's own attempt in breaking the Time Lock. Add this brilliant animation and voice acting and you have one of the best fan projects for doctor who ever!!! timelash, I salute you
These new Daleks are brilliant bigger and better and with colour the new eye is great and a better voice the extermination effort is a lot more powerful new tougher Daleks

The drumming in the masters head was used along with a white point star in The End of Time episode to drage Galifrey out of the time war, i thought it would be cool to use that signal and opening to send Caan through to save Davros.
I know that Sec and Thay argue about purity in Daleks in Manhattan, but there is so much about the beginning of the Time War that we know nothing about, Who knows what happened. I'm more siding with the fact that the NSD was created by Davros before the war started, there was a Dalek war perhaps the war ended badly and both sides were lost leaving Davros to return home and start again. perhaps i should do something relating to that.
I just found your animations, and must say, Bravo good sir. Bravo! It fit nice and snuggly amongst the known history of the Daleks. Bonus points for creating an explanation for what the Nightmare Child is. I give your series a 5 star opinion.
The whole project has taken nearly a year. the reason for the clips is that the whole of season four was centered around Donna with Dalek Caan arranging the timelines to bring the Doctor and Donna to the Madusa cascade and stop Davros and the Daleks. which made no scence so i came up with my Dalek story to make scence of not only Journeys End but Victory of the Daleks. by making it out that the NPD Daleks came up with a plan to get rid of all the NSD Daleks. hope that makes scence to you
As far as i know the Daleks are still frozen on Spiridon, i know that Big finish looked into this with Return of the Daleks and from what i remember it didnt go to plan. and im sure they are still frozen i will have to listen to it again.

Fanbloodytastic! That was brilliant! A always, the visuals were brilliant and the voices were spot on. I love how you fixed parts of The Stolen earth/Journeys end as it was a god awful plot ridden mess, and how you linked it up with The End of Time [another plot hole ridden mess] It was a brilliant part. I loved the fact that caans entire vision was based apon a paradox. The Paradigms fed them their past, thus he saw his won future. Spectacular.
it's ok you're not wrong, it's just some people want to see more than what they need. I spent ages working out every little thing to make sure continuity was correct on every little thing as i knew fans would spot the things that are wrong.. and still i got things wrong which meant a rewrite half way through part two.
It's kind of obvious with the designations given to them in the series.. white- supreme: he's the leader, Blue- Strategist: comes up with ideas for victory, Orange- Scientist: either medical or technical (for my animation technical), Red- Drone: just a squad member, Yellow- Eternal: unknown but from the Doctor Who Live stage show he understands time (I wrote my animation with him in mind to change time and create themselves), and then my Green- Geneticist: medical scientist. Hope that helps
it wasnt me youtube picked up the fact i used a track from the official CD, and has claimed it as copyright.. it is youtubes attempt to stop videos being pulled by directing people to buy the track and adding adverts so that the copyright owner benefits. It dosent mean my animation will stay up even with the auto thing my animation could still be pulled (i hope not). i did mention that Doctor who and Daleks are owned by the BBC and no infringment is intended. shame youtube cant pick that up.

then you have missed the point, For Dalek Caan this is set inbetween Manhattan and stolen earth Caan did his emergency shift and all we knew is that Caan ended up in the time war. but how if its impenetrable? so then came Victory of the Daleks a big plot hole, and just after this episode i animated an idea to make sence of the plot hole. by them taking Caan out of time making him set up the creation of paradime before being used and sent into the Time war.

Which is great, because I saw the possibility they had almost straight away. Just a shame the BBC hasn't exploited their maximum potential as yet. And nice throwback to the White Point Star. Didn't see that coming at all. Your work is excellent and you need to send some Moffat some decent Dalek scripts. Heck, compile this into one vid and send him that!

I loved and understood every bit of Dalek tales, I think it fitted perfectly into the televised storyline and was bloody well made.

I don't remember where it is mentioned but that is actually how Davros survived. Caan was the one who went back in time to save him

So was your idea for the Eternal was the technical one and creates scientific instruments, correct?
At the time I based the eternal on what was characterised in the Doctor who live show. He seemed to be a time scientist that spoke with a nasaly cold.
