2023 Trail Cam Videos Vol 2 (June to August)

This video contains clips of the animals around my property near Lincoln Nebraska. I try to use clips that are interesting and sometimes funny and provide any observations or facts about them or their behavior when applicable. Some of the animals shown are beavers, coyotes, Great Blue and Green herons, mink, raccoons, various birds, rabbits, turtles and whitetail deer. Clips showing a fawn and it's first time curiosities and reactions when encountering unfamiliar animals are fun to watch. @Larry Peterson3375

Yes it does get deep after a big rain and then shrinks back down and gets shallow after a few weeks of no rain. Thanks for commenting!

Since it’s such a regular visitor, I agree on giving it a name. It stopped showing up once it got colder and is probably hibernating or frozen until spring. Whatever it is that snapping turtles do in winter. 😉 So, if it shows up again when it warms up, I now have time to come up with an appropriate name. Thanks

Thanks for the sub! It really has been an active spot, probably because it makes for any easy crossing from one side of the small creek to the other and it’s a good watering hole.

The coyote (1:10) maybe has brain damage.

That coyote hasn't showed up on camera again so far this year as it did the last couple years. Whatever is wrong with it, I'm amazed it's able to catch anything to eat and keep surviving. Thanks for commenting.
