Western Montana. Its fun to see what kind of animals roam around the property. Here is a compilation of some of the videos collected over the past year or so.
Those of us that get to live in areas like this.... I truly believe we are the most fortunate humans on earth..... I could never live in a town or city and be as content as I am with all my four legged neighbors and the peace and quiet.
it is truly wonderful. While ohio is pretty tame compared to this, we are starting to get black bear returning to our area, and bald eagles have properly moved back in, I see one every so often. One thing I'm very glad we don't have is cougars, they scare the shit out of me.
I miss country living. Always. Had to move back to the city to take care of my dad, who had heart failure, now mom. Who’s mid 80s partially disabled. I miss the country so bad I love trail cam videos. Peace of home
I’ve never seen a mountain goat so beautiful! And that owl was huge! They’re as content as you are living there. We live in East Tennessee on 5.5 acres and gleefully watch deer and turkeys as they pass by. We’ll yell for each other in the house “The turkeys are out!” It’s just a beautiful thing to be able to watch nature from a safe and non-threatening distance.
Sounds like my perfect retirement. Enjoying the sights and sounds of nature and wildlife is all I'll need! ( well , I need to find 10-20 acres in Kentucky first!)
Watching from UK: thank you for this! I’m picturing a whole herd of wildlife photographers sighing in envy at the range of beautiful creatures in your canyon 😊
Tears running down my cheeks , my soul longing to be there , Thank you for bringing nature to me. Yes, those who live in, or close to, areas like this are indeed most fortunate.
Wow… I’m in awe of your property. Turkeys, whitetail, Muley’s, goats, lions, bobcats, water foul, owls, coyotes, fox.. and no doubt trout in the stream. I want a life re-do!! Ill be watching for more videos:)
And it would be nice if the poster put small captions of what animals these are. ie; Compared to our Whitetail Deer in Mi. those Whitetails are really small. And we don't even have Mule Deer in Mi. at least Southern Mi. we don't. City folk probably don't even know what half those animals and birds are.
About the only thing I think that trail cam missed was a Moose, Badger, Bear, and Skunk. Amazing that just about every other North American animal was captured with your awesome video. Thank you for sharing!
That compilation of animals is probably the best I've ever seen. I would never hunt that area if I had it. I would enjoy it year after year. Thank you.
I've hunted my lands most of my adult life and so have my 6 children but I've always had one hard and fast rule and that is NO hunting on the 20 acres I've marked out as the "homestead" property. Two reasons, gives the critters a "safe haven" not only from us but from all the other hunters that trespass through the area. Two, gives us a chance to enjoy the wildlife and Three? It's like having a personal supermarket if the problem ever rises! 20 acres might not seem like anything when you've the land I have but when you get every neighbor in two entire counties around you to do the same thing? It adds up in a HURRY! Took me 30 years to get everyone on board but the difference in the wildlife in our area compared to the counties surrounding us is like night and day! It seems the Animals can read no hunting & no trespassing signs as well because it's like these areas become the birthing areas for many of our wild animals!
Hello! I’ve not seen your channel before and was home watching RUclips as I’m too sick to attend church today. What a beautiful slice of heaven you have right there! All the animals are healthy looking and what a variety. I enjoyed watching. Thanks! ❤️💜💚
I was in your canyon less than a month ago. It was great to see all the wildlife in the area. I was surprised to see the mountain goats coming down so far. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic. Such an assortment. Wolf, Mallards, Wild Turkey, Bob Cat, Mountain Lion and sheep, Blue Heron, Deer family, Red tailed hawk, Owl, Jack Rabbit and very few bugs. Incredible collage over the seasons. Beautiful countryside.
Growing up I lived in a city but my parents owned 25 acres in the countryside too and we would go there on some weekends to camp and enjoy nature’s beauty. I believe it changed who I am forever in such a positive way. You are very lucky to live in such a place, thanks for sharing it with us via your trail cam. 😀👍😀👍
I rarely take the time to comment, but I was in awe throughout the entire video. How very lucky you are to live among such beauty. Such an amazing variety of wildlife, but the mountain goat was the icing on the cake! Thank you for sharing!
Very interesting. That owl in the first few frames was enormous! The diversity and health of the wildlife speaks well for the conservation in the area. I was very surprised to see the magnificent mountain goats in a low lying area and to see so many singular deer until winter when they appeared to be in more of a herd. Great representation of natural habitat. Thanks for sharing so we former country and now city dwellers can experience a piece of home.❤
@@wiseoldowl1536 yes, I’ve seen a few but never quite that big. One did try to abscond with my huge Siamese cat once but he got the worst end of that deal! lol the cat had stitches where his fur separated. They’re magnificent birds.
@janetgao we have a couple in my backyard and the female is huge. They take over the crows nest each year and it is so cute to hear the parents hooo at each other and the owlets squawk at their parents. We also have barn owls. They nest each year in two boxes I put up. It is nice to be able to be around nature. I loved this trail CAM. Wish I had a stream going through my land….. have water- animals gather!
Beautiful video! I've always felt like once you live in a forested area, you can never really adjust to life in the city. Be safe out there and God bless you and all God's beautiful creatures.
That was really fascinating to watch. Not only the wildlife but watching that stream especially seeing the water running under the ice and the amount of water after the ice and snow melted. Loved it.
Wow, that was a great video. You get all kinds of gods creatures coming through there. That bobcat was massive.. those mountain goats were really interesting the way their coats grow. They’re really bizarre. Thanks for sharing.
I wonder for how many centuries have these scenes been playing out, just like this. Probably had more beavers 300 years ago. VEry interesting and entertaining . Thanks for sharing you video.
Great video, thanks for sharing. I’ve done photography with Nat-Geo and seeing a mountain goat at the water is rare. When they do come down to drink it’s quick and back to the high country slopes where their not so vulnerable. What a piece of Gods country. Take care.
For 11years I had 10 acres out in the country.. nothing like this!… but, I did have deer, crane, owls, turkeys, coyotes, fox,.. anyway , after 3 years ,I still miss that quiet sound, no lites at nite. Fewer vehicles… I’ll miss it til the day I die…
Most amazing video I have ever seen. You are so fortunate to live in an area where life is teaming. My favorite part, of course is the goats. I envy you. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you! I’ve spent quite a bit of time around your area over the last 30 years and know from my experiences that it is full of wildlife! Thanks for sharing!
I used too live in the Pemberton Valley, in British Columbia, now I’m in a city 😢 This is truly living, being in nature is what grounds you and keeps you sane. Planning my escape now, to get back to paradise ✨
So beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I live in S.E. Louisiana with a beautiful pond in my backyard. I usually see wild ducks, herons, turtles, owl., rabbit, squirrel, many birds and Possum . The other day I was surprised when I looked out my kitchen window and saw a nice size red fox. Life is good and nature soothes the soul. I just stumbled on your channel today and subscribed . I Look forward to your future videos.
That was a treat! Wasn't expecting to see mountain goat and heron in the same area. I grew up on the Southern Oregon coast and saw lots of deer, elk, black bears, bob cats, eagles, hawks, owls, trout, and salmon. Thanks.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. This was such a joy to see. I also enjoyed the quiet solitude of just enjoying seeing the different wildlife as they came to the creek. 😊
Thank you for sharing this. Such natural beauty in everything. The magical and majestic wilderness. Animals that most people will likely never see in person. Even just seeing the changing seasons is breathtaking. I am curious if anyone knows what the really tall bird with the long neck is? There may have been two different species of similar description. We don't have those in my neck of the woods. Again, great video. I am glad I stumbled on it.

The mountain goat in full coat was beautiful!! Beautiful variety of wildlife. Love the turkey!
Beautiful man suntan goat!
Thank you for no music no chatter and a front row seat to see all these beautiful animals in their natural surroundings!!
Me too. That allowed me to fall into forest. So incredible
I agree!
The sounds of the forest and brook would be great!
