imagine having your house broken into then a few months later leaving your doors unlocked
I was born in ‘71. From 1971 to 1981 I lived in the busy centre of Edinburgh, UK, and I recall leaving our house door unlocked all the time. As did our neighbours. It’s funny how times change.
No instinct for self preservation.
@titteryenot4524 where we live we all left our doors open too.
But in the late 90s our village council leader woke up to someone in his bedroom robbing them.
Luckily they scared the theif more than them being scared and he ran
It wasn't anyone we knew nor did they ever find him.
After that we more often lock our doors.
Even when I'm home working out in the greenhouse and gardens.
It's only 2 acres but I can't see my home from most of the gardens and not at all from the greenhouse
😂❤💯🤔

I'm a woman who lives on my own in a city, I lock my bedroom door at night. As many barriers as possible I say!
Gives you way more time to act.. smart idea
you want a real barrier?

the smell alone makes intruders stay away.
Get a German Shepherd and give him unconditional love! In return he'll be all the protection you need!
Good thinking and I commend you for it.
The guy "said" unlocked. But it looked to me like it was just an ineffective lock. Most of the time you can just lift at the handle. Sliding glass doors are easy to bypass. Put a dowel in the track.
What's more scarier than a ghost? Humans!
Correct, a lot of unhinged folk out there
What's more scarier than humans? None humans.
Especially my ex. She was fruit loop. 😂😂😂🤪
What's scarier than humans? A nation of humans obsessed with owning guns.
Pretty much. The only monsters in the world are human.
That lightning over the volcano is straight out of a sci-fi movie! Mind-blowing!
So fun to watch!
It reminded me of the top of the skyscraper in the first Ghostbusters movie.
my house is ALWAYS locked even if I am working in the backyard. My dogs will get the ones that try to walk back there

No wonder our ancestors believed in the old gods, that is something to see. I once witnessed thunderbolts so thick they were straight up and down and louder than anything I've ever heard.
@@vextract4662 Where was that? I opened my window one night as a kid while there was a thunderstorm, and a lightening bolt hit my house at that exact moment. It sounded like a hand grenade went off and the shock knocked me on my ass. All I saw was a bright purple flash and then BAM!
So awesome!
Grabbing knives from the kitchen turned a simple home invasion/burglary into an armed robbery.
Simple home invasion? Dude that can carry LIFE. Nothin simple about it
I think the home invasion video is a perfect example of why you should (1) keep your doors locked at all hours, (2) own a firearm, and be able to use it proficiently.
In California, the police would arrest the home owner for bodily harm against the invaders.

If you are a burglar and are going into the home in broad daylight, why when the owners are Barricaded away safe would you not just rob then leave peacefully but these pair went to kick a door down to get to the people instead of taking anything!- something not right there and they took knives- they weren’t there for taking stuff they were there for someone!!
America is such a poo show. You could scare guns on a sunday school teacher. Glad I don't have to live there.
I think the one with the Intruders was the scariest one!! You just never know what some people are capable of!
I agree 💯 I saw a comment asking why the video was on this channel 😳 I said cuz it's scary 🥴 Duh

Those men were running towards the people. That's the scariest thing
Those 2 men doing the break in at the beginning grabbed those knives for a reason and why were they trying to kick her door in where she was hiding, I hope they got locked up for a long time
They grabbed the knives to cut the telephone line, ....
@brentisone they still had them walking around her house,, and kicking her door in , I can only imagine what they had planned for her and her daughter
@@stevedickson5853 I agree, most intruders would run when realising someone was at home, them going back and trying to kick in the door, well I dread to think what their intentions were!!
Then why were they carrying the knife around the house after the phone line was cut? I would be shocked living in affluent neighborhood like that to have someone come in middle of the day, and search house with knives! Looked like this was possibly a failed hit job or maybe gang initiation job.
@@brentisonestop. Robbers don't usually carry knives around after they've cut the phone line if the knives are only for the phone line And they usually run when they realize someone is home.
I'm willing to bet the one that turned himself in, was the one that was hanging back while his buddy tried to kick the door in.
It's possible. Sometimes the weight of guilt is heavier than the fear of getting caught. He may have realized the wrong path he was on and chose to step into the light, even if it meant facing consequences. It takes courage to admit mistakes and choose a better way forward.
However did you come to that conclusion 🙄
I'm guessing it was the guy who didn't cover his face or wear gloves finally figuring out he left an admission of guilt all over the house

Why would anyone leave their house unlocked? I don't care if you think you're in a safe neighborhood. That is not smart at all.
Most people don’t keep their house locked if they’re home. I’m the only person I know that habitually locks all my doors.
The scariest part of that first home invasion video is the 2 guys ran towards the house of people in the home. Mostly, they will run away to keep from being caught. What would’ve happened if that made it into that room with the people and child in it?!
we live in a small town of 500 or so, but i still lock the doors. i don’t trust people these days with the economy & meth & fent addiction being so rampant. we’re getting security cameras too off of amazon, when we can afford it, that hook up to an app on our 📱 . i’m getting 3. 1 for the front & back doors, & 1 for inside on the front door. they have night vision & are only $50/55 each.
We have done my entire life unless in a un known home and even then if country enough. Only recently have we started locking the house at night but it’s definitely not like it used to be
Hell I lock my door behind me when I come in and I live around a bunch of old people. I don’t care if it’s noon on a Sunday, that door is LOCKED!
I can understand a lapse of judgement and sympathise with them but honestly if you got kids and you leave your door unlocked after already getting robbed once you are literally insane

Whenever I'm having a bad time in my life, I always find comfort watching Slapped Ham 🐽. I've been a fan 4 years. Thanks Kallan. 👻 🐽 📹
When your house looks like that and you have a patio like that, even in 2015, why aren't you locking your doors nonstop? This is a low trust society we live in. One little mistake like that could easily have you and your family dead by these psychopathic people that think you're an easy mark.
Though I do dislike to say as much, my residence is now a trap for would-be invaders.
If they are lucky enough to escape intact (which they will not) they may well think twice about returning. It is actually rather easy to turn any living space into an "oubliette" or worse.
Home- invaders imagine that once they are inside, they rule. Often, this is true, but with very little effort any home-owner can turn around the rules of them game in their favor . Well, well worth the effort.
The mirror one is almost certainly something like shutter-speed being weird and catching part of the image before and after he turned his head, but didn't move anything else.
Yea that’s exactly what I was gonna say.
The glowing light could be bioluminescent algae stuck to a concrete block on a reef
In reference to second clip, I would rather be invaded by ghosts than humans any day. Great compilations of video clips!!!
I must ask why?
A human is a physical being you can fight back against.
A ghost? Not so much
@@autumbreeze1129 Because ghosts do not exist. Even if they did, they're transparent and made up of non matter, non molecules so how can they hurt you? Not every country has access to firearms

That volcanic lightening at about 10:00 looks really awesome and I imagine people in the past attributed it to activities of the gods like Thor or Zeus or Indra and so on… Knowing how lightening is attracted to the earth and metallic materials today, there's probably a lot inside a volcano that attracts such lightening.
*lightning
I think sliding doors are the easiest to get in..here’s my few tips on keeping safe..have a gravel path or drive,it’s very hard to walk on without making a noise …grow a thorny bush right under the front window it stops people getting too near.. have movement lights outside ,have cameras linked to ur phone, and if u love dogs have one ..they will generally alert you to movement ,n have a weapon near to ur bed..but best of all is metal, security door shutters if u can afford them .
