Trail Cam Videos: 1000 Hours in the Jungle: Rain Forest Animals
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 16 окт 2024
- Trail camera video footage captured rain forest animals for 1000 hours in the jungle. See how jungle animals live on the Ocho Verde wildlife tropical rainforest reserve near Golfito, Costa Rica. The jungle animal wildlife from this trail cam compilation includes rare animals like ocelots, jaguarundi, grison, tayra, beautiful birds, and exotic reptiles.
Some of these jungle animals seen are on color trail camera traps but a few are in black and white due to the infrared sensors common on trail cameras. This trail camera pickup was packed full of these exciting rain forest animals.

Since I am the Amazon jungle associate, I may be compensated when you click on the above link. As you can see, trail cameras and trail cam batteries are expensive, so thank you for clicking!
If you would like to see the common names of these rainforest animals, please activate the CC function and closed caption. The names of the jungle animals will briefly appear. I have only done this in English and Spanish. However, the error prone auto translate has done this for many other languages. If you do not see your language let me know and I will make sure it is put into the system.

Amazing, thank you so much for sharing this footage with us all. Am 67 years old now, probably never going to this jungle but viewing this gives me a true sense of it. Incredible!
Thank you, Teresa!
I am happy to share. Trail cameras are such an awesome way to see what animals really do in their daily lives.
I'm just back from the jungle with quite a bit of new footage and will begin editing it into anew video in the next few days.
Thank you again for your comments!
Yeah it's a lil bit late 4 junglin bud.
@@justinwilliams9452 Why? You are never too old for nature.
@@justinwilliams9452 I'm 59 and spend as much time in the jungle as possible!
@@globe2555 NEVER!
Thanks for letting nature be the background music.
You are welcome.
I stopped adding music when the newer cameras started to record decent audio.
Well stated.
Never having used a trail cam ruclips.net/user/postUgkx2sTDdZXomuxedMg_HothfjSXjR3rpPkA before, I was very impressed with the quality of the images and videos. The sensitivity of the camera can be adjusted as well as the length of video recordings. Once I found the sweet spot, I was getting great clips of deer and other animals almost every day. I was worried about battery life but have been running off the same 4 aa batteries for over a month. The SD card is easy to remove and connect to a computer. I have a Mac, and the AVI files open natively in QuickTime and are easy to save and share. This is a great, budget-friendly trail cam.
awesome
This is so amazing. The fact that the world does not largely value these creatures and their environment is heart breaking. The news no longer speaks of the environment and it’s losses, we remain focused entirely on ourselves. All being lost while we are consumed with the likes of social media and things not even real.
I'm hoping that youtube and social media can help spread environmental issues effectively.
So many different types of life forms, the suspense of waiting for the next, was overwhelming. Everyone has their favorites and mine are the cats and canines.
Even the littlest creatures were out, this must have been the Grand Central Station for most of God's creatures.. Amazing and beautiful to watch. Thank you.
Hi Elizabeth!! Thank you for your post.
Yes, the suspense of ‘Whats coming next’ is what I feel when I view the videos from the camera for the first time!! It’s a thrill.
I love nothing more than hearing that those feelings are being passed through in these trail cam videos. That is a big goal of mine.
I’m here in Costa Rica now collecting more trail cam content.
Again, thank you very much.
@@OchoVerde Looking forward to your next video from Costa Rica and other locations.. I found them not only amazing, but soothing as well.
Again thank you sir. 🐺🐾
@@OchoVerde The dogs appear to be from a domesticated breed and feral? Just wondering what effects they have on native fauna as they will compete as predators.
@@krisj6571 they dont seem to have much effect.

The rain forest is a noisy place. Great video.
Thank you!.... Yes it is very loud at times!
Just insane footage. Must be like Christmas every time you check the SD cards, you never know what's going to be on there. Like trespassers. How freaky. Were they just passing through or hunting for something? Funny with the bull and egret. Amazing creatures down there.
I am still perplexed about the trespassers. They had a hunting dog and only machetes. Two nights before, they passed by that camera an actually pointed it out and said, "camara". I did not see them on any other cameras nearby.
Yes....its always exciting pulling the cards. A cell trail cam sent us a beautiful puma picture via email on saturday. So I'm hoping the nearby browning trailcam got some good video of it when I get back there to check it.
@@OchoVerde Looked like a hunting dog of some sort with those trespassers. Stoked to see what you find.

Thank you! Thank you for visiting the channel today/night.
I really appreciate you putting the names of the animals on the screen for those of us who aren't familiar with jungle wildlife. I lived in Panama when I was a child 6-9 years old and will NEVER forget how much I loved the wildlife there. Thank you for posting this video, I will be following you for more jungle love
I'm glad that it helped you enjoy the video. Some people use it almost like a quiz to test themselves, so the cc option helps as well.
I need to spend more time in Panama...its so close to us...about 45 minutes.
Thank you, for the kind words.
I agree. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
The variety of animal life there is incredible!
Yes. And there are even more that don’t trigger the cameras!
When it's just the animals going about their lives in their forest home ♥️👍
yes...thats pretty cool!
Those Cameras are Great.
Thank you, Mark!
I am always trying new cameras to find the very best quality!
Wow! The rare and elusive Belgian Shepard running wild in the jungles of Costa Rica. Lucky duck to get them on film too.
I know...
They were on on the trails for one day and have never been seen again since then. They are not your normal dogs for this area, so I don't know where they came from!.
They are used frequently by the police and military... Maybe they weren't some locals pet - but it is strange that they are running loose in the jungle... They are working/ guard dogs.
Amazing footage
Thank you my friend!
The jungle fowl are amazing. What a beautiful place.
Omg. Yes they are.
Many don’t appreciate how awesome the jungle birds are.

Just had to watch this STUNNING video again l don't think I will ever get tired of it. 🙋🙋🙋🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thank you!
I have been trying to make more like this one...I think my recent trail cam video is similar!
Would love to visit Costa Rica to birdwatch in this lovely forest. Greetings from Canada!
Greetings.
Come on down. Many Canadians are here living and visiting.
Vemos menos tolomucos y oso hormigueros.
I'm also 67 and Enjoyed this video. Stuck in the City.
Thank you for watching, Mark.

Thank you, Linda! We just got a puma on the cell trail cam this afternoon. Hoping he spent some time in front of a video cam as well!
Thank you so much for posting this, it is so peaceful and such an array of wildlife. I never knew there was wild dogs in South America. Learn something new everyday.
These dogs are not wild....they are harassing the wildlife.
I recorded this in Costa Rica where there are wild dogs called "bush dogs" and they are really cool. We have not seen them on our cameras yet.
@@OchoVerde Thanks for the reply, keep up the filming and the posts, i especially like the Ocelots, they're some cool looking. Good luck.

Wonderful footage sad to see people hunting there with the dogs :( hope the Ocelot stays safe
Thank you!
I have not seen anybody hunting in the last year. We still get neighbor dogs from time to time, but never seen them with a kill.
So so cool! It's like raw footage from national geographic. Amazing the variety of animals that all share the same habitat, or even the same acre. Thank you for editing and sharing! And I have a question, that may sound dumb, but I mean it seriously. Are those your dogs? Or is that a pack of stray dogs?
Thanks for the comments!
No, they are not our dogs... we believe them to be a neighbors' dogs.

13:10 omg wth was that that 😱 deep moan or groan was right up there with a freakn Bigfoot & a Bear & I've heard both Wow.. I don't think my mind is ready for whatever else is lurking out there.
I’m glad I read that we can turn on the captions and get names for these animals, thank you! I thought the first one was an ocelot but wasn’t sure, poor thing had a tussle with something. 3:09 I’ve seen coati in Cozumel and love them! Darn two back to back coati foot injuries at 11:00. What’s with the dogs, is this neat a residential area? 12:33 that orb was pretty freaky. Thank you for sharing such beautiful creatures from your part of the world.

Thanks for naming these unfamiliar (to me, some of them) animals. And thanks for posting and sharing the lives of our fellow creatures.
The background din of chirpers and screechers in the night is amazing.
Thank you for watching! I really enjoy sharing the secret lives of animals.
Amazing, great colour too. I imagine you would hardly ever see these animals without a trail cam. Maybe those hunters with the machete had set traps....thank you
Thanks-- I think that I have seen most of those animals in person, but usually at night or in the distance.
The hunters were there on two nights in the same week and never again. Very strange.
Wow. The basilisk and the iguana were cool. I think I saw an agouti as well?
Yes... there were multiple agoutis...they are the chief battery wasters in the jungle.
Some cameras get reptiles some don't...Those lizards must have been pretty warm to trigger the cameras.
@@OchoVerde didn’t think about that. But makes sense!
It would be great if when an animal appears that you tell us what it is. Thank you for the sharing these beautiful animals.

@@ImaginationBlue fairly often. I saw only one last trip in December and so far none this trip ( but I have seen an eyelash viper). I see more during the rainy season and at least a few every trip.
The ocelots and other critters help control the rat/mice populations and that probably limits the number of fer de Lance Terciopelos.
