Thanks for the idea! I've been putting them all horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. I tried the herringbone pattern, but I kept going at a slant across the card, since my strips were different widths. In this pattern that you showed, it is okay to have different widths. That's a win for me!
Love the quilt look. In fact, I will emboss mine with all over design to make them look quilted.

can I ask what sizes of width you are using on each strip? gonna make these as my cmas cards
I think these were either 3/4" or 1" wide
