Hi Peggy! So sorry for my delay in responding to you. I'm thrilled you found some new information and inspiration try something new. How did your cards turn out?
I too am a quilter and started card making. Just came across your channel and subscribed. Love your quilt card and looking forward to seeing more. Thanks for sharing ❤️
I'm a quilter & I'm at a quilting retreat right now!!! I love these ideas - quilting with embossing folders - brilliant! I'm going to make some for my guild. Thanks! I'll be a new follower of yours from now on.
Just found this channel and stopped immediately because I would recognize a longaberger basket a mile away. Lol. Subscribed because I enjoyed the technique. 😊
Watching replay in Aug 2024. Luv making Scrap Cards. I try to use up all my scraps this way, then emboss them. Also really luv your Longaberger baskets.
LUV LUV LUV THIS!! I love paper and I can't bear to throw out even little bits of scrappy paper.... You have saved the day with these beautiful ideas.... Thank you SOOooo much!!🥰
Fabulous! I can’t toss scraps, so this video is a gold mine for me! Brilliant! Love the piecing. Love the quilting! Love watching all the way to the end, to see the use of punches, etc. So creative! Thanks Robin!
Hi there! I'm glad you have some ideas to use all those scraps up because there is nothing more satisfying than using up an entire sheet of paper, right?
Hi Wenda, and thank you! I'm glad that is helpful for you to relocate the content. I didn't invent that idea - other demonstrators do it also. Honestly it helps ME to keep track of them also! 😄
Just caught your video. Loved it. It's a GREAT IDEA on the numbering of your embossing plates. Will have to figure out mine and mark them .What a time saver. THANKS FOR SHARING.
Hi Laura and thank you for leaving me a comment! I have been very happy with the labeling system for the folders. Now I don’t have to take a moment to think about it during a project.😁
I'm watching this more than a year later, and I love this card! I AM a quilter, and couldn't help but think that the trimming of all the ends would be so easy using a rotary cutter... I always have used blades that I can use on paper.
Hello Yvonne! I'm so glad to have a real quilter enjoy these projects. My mom is the quilter that inspires my cards! I have a rotary cutter too and it would be most satisfying to use it on these cards, you are right!!!!!😆
@@reallyrobinstamps It looks like you monitor old posts! Yes.... your card and the techniques really pleased me.... I can think of so many applications.... and I have that embossing folder, too.... so good for cards to any quilting friends. I'm also a crazy quilter, and there's ways of using scraps for that too. I'm neglecting my quilting right now 'cause I'm swept up in card fever. I can't believe how much quilting and card-making relate to each other, but cards offer such great immediate gratification, whereas quilts..... well, I've got THREE unfinished quilts right not. LOL!
Well you sound like a very normal quilter, with projects in the wings and more fabric than necessary? I think for that exact reason is why quilters also make cards-for more instant gratification!
Denise, hello and thank you for your enthusiasm for these projects! Embossing the paper into the card stock is one of my all time favorite things to do! I appreciate you leaving me a comment!😄
Hello Joanne! I'm so happy that you like these "quilt" cards! I have such a special place in my heart for quilters - you are a precious group of creators!🥰
