Here is a slight scoop, am sure many will be tuning. Dirt cup. If you run the 410, cam if to perform with the heads and gearing to pull the corners. You know this is a absolute bull ring. Try one motor on initial, if this isn't going to cut it, backup with lower hp, higher flowing heads and gearing. Trey is good on many tracks so work with folks to keep them Southern Cali boys away if you can. Alan Munn who drove the 42 out of Granite Falls would always give them heck. Remember, this is your back yard so command it like it should be. I always take my hat off for Solwold, a great driver, knows his lane but can be devastating if you're not watching. Used to have a feller out of the Bellingham area, Wagner, #15, yellow car, and another I think that came out of Canada, great racers who would put the fear of making it happen in you. They always came to race, and race they did. Be prepared to make those hard decisions and live with each and every one, you won't know until you try. Roger C. was a great driver, conservative but accomplished many feats. Forget the box theory, make a stand, this is your era to establish that next push. When it comes more natural, as I am seeing, then, float the boat, let go of that trailer, pull the lines in and let's go "RACING"......!
Been following Tanner for a long time now. That was the best drive yet! Hard earned experience is starting to pay off! Congratulations to all at THR!!
