The news reports on this are confusing. Another news report stated he was witnessed dumping gasoline on himself. I’m wondering if there is more to this story than is being reported.

Her request is reasonable not hilarious, but it is hilarious to think that the city cares about those people and will get them the help they need. Oh no not those sweet taxpayer dollars they can’t use that on things we want the city to get done they need to save that for ummm…. Ummm….. uhhhh

I'm tired of people. All concerned for only themselves and the fear that dictates them. Things happen. Death is a part of life, accidental or not, we only one the next breath, next heart beat that keeps us all alive. These people clutching their pearls all want to live in a world of zero suffering, and even say they want help for homeless people, but won't lift a finger themselves. Just barely raising their children (look at all the teachers leaving because of horribly behaving, even violent kids), yet always looking to another to fix problems. These fragile people wouldn't last even one minute in Gaza or any other war torn place. SMH.
I get you dude. Lots of people pretending to care and trying to objectify the homeless as “mentally ill”, so they can try to look benevolent by demanding they all get marched into therapy or assigned social workers to wipe their assess. Community is the one that abused these people into insanity in the first place.
Yup. Try going to Gaza or Ukraine and ask for drug treatment. You would get off drugs real quick.

This was not "accidental". He was walking around hours before, doused in paint thinner. Allegedly, this was a deliberate self unaliving to protest the events in Gaza. Media trying to play it down to discourage copycats
