I remember this kid, he was one of my friends at school, it’s so sad to see him gone 😢😭😭
Sad...
How tragic. Prayers for your family.
Never let your children ride bikes on 4 lane traffic, or two way busy streets in general. It is just not worth the risk. Your child can follow every rule and be safe but still be killed because it. Is. A. Road. Where busy fast and sometimes dumb distracted drivers are. Take care of your baby's people
My sons 13. I wouldn’t let him ride anywhere near there ever. These parents are suffering a tragic death of a child because they chose to let him go. Very sad. Adults would have trouble navigating that area on a bike. Insane
So sad! Prayers to the family and may the boy rest in peace. We also lost a friend not long ago in Gresham from a hit and run. Poor boy, he was so young.
You know what's crazy thinking about this, the police station is right across the street from where this happened. How was more not done, this area of hillsboro has always been so unsafe. Something has to be done this is such a heartbreaking story.
Needless. So many need to slow down and pay attention to cyclists & pedestrians. 💔
What conclusions can we really make from this report?? We don’t know any details about HOW it happened and if the driver was even at fault. Sometimes bike riders, especially kids and pedestrians don’t behave themselves on the roads either.
Was this child even wearing a helmet? At what moment he appeared in the front of the car and was there really enough time for the driver to “pay attention”?
We don’t know. It’s very sad that such a young life was lost in this accident and express my condolences to the family, but again, we just don’t know exactly how it happened, so I feel for the driver as well
I can be wrong but I'm willing to bet that it's the drivers fault. Each time I drive around this area of hillsboro I'm shocked at how crazy some drivers drive. @@svetlanaisayeva2624
Stop using your car period! Ride a bike. RIP
Rip Joesph gone too soon 💔🕊️🏀#forever12 may he rest in peace
That is why I have stopped riding my bike or walking unless it's in a park or trails that are far away from any road. Too risky more than ever now. I don't trust drivers, and when I am driving, I don't trust pedestrians or drivers.
No , ride everyday! F cars!
Here we go with the effin victim blaming.
You know that it’s very possible that his family members are reading these comments, right?
Also.... I had a gun pointed at myself and my granddaughter in SE Portland, I was getting off 205, guess I was in his way, the driver was Mexican, Unfortunately I was enable to get his license plate number.
I'm obsessed!
Where's the Governor on how poor the state of Oregon is going.....
They installed her,by mail in voting
Thanks for the irrelevant trolling
So basically this is a GO FUND ME pander.
pandee what? their deceased son ?
yup the old 'hire someone to run over my kid so I can cash in' scam, happens all the time 🙄🙄
@@JonasC22 Many people would be ashamed to solicit funds from strangers for such a private, personal tragedy.
@@JonasC22you really might wanna wacth what you say on the internet
Yes, my father was born in 1922. He'd have starved to death before taking a nickel, let alone asking publicly. It's a new mainstream; I do my best to avoid it. This poor little fellow...breaks my heart.
