    Honestly thanks for this review dude. Just got one and as a long time standing desk user (10 years), agreed leanrite isn't totally perfect but its easily the best option available. If I could improve 2 things I would: A) give it more locking positions in leaning angles (or some mechanism for finer leaning angle control), and B) enable it to go higher for a super comfy lumbar lean. Aside, it is a gamechanger. Leaning is IMO the best ergonomic position for standing desks.

    This is probably the best and most objective review for a product that I've ever seen. It really is a shame you stopped making reviews. I'd love to hear if you still like this chair a year later. I'd also like to hear what you think about the locus focal seat.

    Andrew, this was a great review. So appreciate it. Having just started using a standing desk, I am finding "the best position...is the NEXT one". My life lesson is to keep moving...and so far, I too have a collection of chairs. Not ONE is the sole solution. I now have a Vari Chair and like it, but I totally see the value of Lean Rite as another tool...just didn't want to put $600 on a chair, you know?! lol Thanks again, Sir!

    I have had this chair, and do like it very much. I too had a problem with the strut, and now (12 mos later) had another strut failure. That said, the company has been very responsive with part replacement.

    The mere fact that you know who Kelly Starrett is makes me trust you more, and I know that's some kind of bias, but it's true. Now I have to budget... for a chair. File that under things I'd never thought I'd say.

    Looks interesting.
    for me its a pain looking for what would fit me though.
    Im looking for something for my gaming setup. i dont like sitting down but atm i dont have anything (other then my office chair i borrowed from work during 2020) for it. and all those good support seats/leaners are all just as expansive as a good desk chair.. only issue is they're formed differently that i feel i should maybe try them out before buying. but good luck finding showrooms for that kinda stuff near you. even if you find a show room they tend to just have 1-3 types of them whilst on the internet you can easily find alot more.
    atm i think i probably just going to check out the IKEA LIDKULLEN and take it because its relatively cheap (if i knew what really fits me i wouldn't mind paying alot more for an assist in that)

Shouldn’t have been an idiot at 26. I wish they would teach us about spinal health in school and really mean it when teaching it like they are with CRT.

      @ProductivityTherapy  3 года назад

      Thanks NZ! I haven't used treadmills yet but I have done work with a laptop on a normal treadmill. I like the feeling. I'll need to think more about them as my initial thoughts are that it's expensive and heavy for something you might not use for more than an hour or two per day.

      @@ProductivityTherapy the idea with the treadmill is intresting, but I also concerned about the vision since the eye line is constantly moving and the screen is kind of jumping in front of you. Have you tried this option so far?

    I'm not sure this seat would work if I adopt a wider stance and hence don't place my feet on the support pad? Seems like it would just topple over :/

      @@quadrant6912 So it is static in the sense the seat itself doesn't move, however, it's more dynamic for me as I move more compared to the Lidkullen. I al ggo through a larger range of positions more frequently.

    how is this durable? you are actually applying force to the extended part of a telescopic arm. When extended it works like a lever, you are practically damaging the bottom mounting system every time you are leaning against the end of the extended seat. Should be damaged in a couple of weeks.
