    The key location inside the center console is for when the key's battery dies. It does the key sensor action so you can start the car. The key fob uses a non chargeable CR battery. Nice thorough review. I have a 2020 Giulia Ti Sport Q4, lots of the same features but with the 2.0 Turbo engine. Even with less power a great fin car to drive. It still has the same chassis, steering, and overall handling.

    This car was built for track use. Any Factory car(that does not come with Carbon ceramics) will go through pads like nobody’s business on a days track use. It’s actually on lighter side of sedans in its class. Tires are subjective during track days, as brands, racing styles differ. But in my experience tires are a norm to go through. Track days for any car is a pricey hobby to have, which is why I don’t see many do it. Thanks for review though, the vehicle is gorgeous

    • @carswithnate
      @carswithnate  2 года назад +2

      For a sedan yea it’s good but our lotus Evora lasts much longer before it needs any tire or brake replacement and we don’t even have carbon ceramics on the lotus. The Alfa performs well on track, but you have to pay so much in replacements that its not good for continuous track use unless you don’t mind paying $8000+ a month

    Isn’t the best track car? Doesn’t this car hold the record for the fastest non-EV 5 seater production lap time at NRing? I would go against the grain there and say this is THE track car. Great vid overall 🤝

    • @carswithnate
      @carswithnate  3 года назад

      For a sedan it’s a great track car, but it literally shreds tires and brakes so quickly that it’s going to cost $5000+ a month to track this car consistently. Performance wise it’s great on the track, but it’s not really usable unless you want to pay a ton of maintenance. You need ideally a car that’s under 3300 pounds to be a legit track car that doesn’t run through brakes, rotors and tires👍🏻

    3:05 “don’t take this car to the track it’s too heavy” you’re actually telling us a car that did a top record in the Nring as the fastest 4 door sedan around the track isn’t meant for track use?
    Doesn’t make sense.

    • @carswithnate
      @carswithnate  2 года назад

      Yes Bc the tires and brakes don’t even last one track day. It may be fast around the track but it’s not a liable track car consistently. You need something that’s lighter weight
