Thankyou so much . I was searching to hear the Music alone and found it here. I just wanted to enjoy it played alone. Thanks again. John (Australia)
Me too , I heard an instrumental with the cello etc of this on the radio but cannot find it on RUclips!
Your channel is my happy place. xx

Good to see a new organ in a new church.
Excellently played, of course.
Many thanks.
Fabulous ! One of my favourite pieces of music---not heard it as an organ solo before---works very well indeed. Thank you yet again for all the happiness you and your brother bring to this world.

Jonathan, you are helping heal that churches' soul.
This amazing piece on this new yet so classic organ played by one of the truly great master organists of all time in this amazing rebuilt church and brought to us by the artistry of a truly artistic videographer gives great solace on this Easter morning. He is risen and we are saved. Thank you Jonathan and Tom for bringing us this magnificent piece. Thanks to the congregation at the Church of the Ascension for appropriately resurrecting their church from the ashes.
Hallo!
I,m sorry I mean the Vivaldi piece.
It sounds as clear as crystal and sparkling.
Thank you B B.
With Love from the Netherlands.
Love watching Jonathan playing beautifully on the organ. What a workout!

Delightful!
I'm fond of Vivaldi's music, but my knowledge isn't extensive enough to be familiar with this piece. Thanx for bringing it today!
What a beautiful piece of music from Vivaldi. I have never heard it before. I so enjoyed listening to it. Thank you Jonathan for it - played with such warmth and feeling. Such a beautiful Church - thank you Tom for showing us the Church as well. 🇿🇦🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Lovely organ in a great acoustic - I hope we'll hear more from this instrument in future?
Great music and fantastic organist !
Guess that I'm in agreement with all of the others when I say, this was lovely. So peaceful on such a special weekend. Thank you both for always delivering perfection. xx
¡¡¡ WONDROUS !!! You have outdone yourself again, my friend! I am going through it, and your music has sustained me 'lo these many years.....
This beautiful Vivaldi piece, played with Jonathan's wonderful touch, lingers long in the memory. I often find myself humming this now I've heard him play it. That lovely new organ has such a sweet sound, it really is delightful. I shall enjoy playing this video often. Thank you both for this Easter gift & happy Easter to you all. xxxx
Great!
sei bravissimo Jonathan! Bellissima!
Grestest Hit!
I fratelli Scott supreme!
Impressive!!! Not only do you have to have to know the right keys on the keyboard but also the correct foot pedals. I don't know a thing about playing the Organ 🎉 .
Hallo!
This piece from Puccini,
It sounds as clear as crystal and sparkling! Thanks B B.
With Love from the Netherlands.
A truly beautiful performance by one of the UK's most pre-eminent and talented concert organists! In addition to which, this brand new (and 'aesthetically' pleasing) instrument is a true credit to organ builders, Henry Groves & Son! I really hope that we hear more from Jonathan on this fine instrument!
As a graduate of Salford University (many years ago) I wish I could recall seeing or visiting The Church of the Ascension, Lower Broughton - which, sadly, I can't! Thank you (and Tom) for recording and uploading this video!
Vivaldi il vertice!
Hey Tom, I see you're trying new things. It is exiting. What about from time to time show score... followe by moving cue... just thinking. You do awesome.
Recording is excelsus.
Nicely done. A piece of info, please. There are a number of stops with letters after them. Are they unit stops? I’ve never seen this before.
Hi Paul, yes the letters after some of the stops refer to that unit, so rank D (73 notes) is the Great Trumpet 8ft, but you will see it can also be played on the Choir at 8ft and on the Pedal at 16ft & 8ft, making it far more versatile. Although there are 52 speaking stops there are only 32 ranks of pipes. (still a decent sized organ) Similarly the Great Cornet is actually made up from 5 individual Choir stops. Best Jonathan (Henry Groves)
@@JonathanWallace-f6f I suspected as much and am glad to have the information confirmed. Thanks
Do you have plan to visit Vienna?
I am a fan from Taiwan and expect you can arrange to play BWV1052 thanks.
Ária.
Nulla in mundo pax sincera
sine felle; pura et vera,
dulcis Jesu, est in te.
Inter poenas et tormenta
vivit anima contenta
casti amoris sola spe.
Recitativo.
Blando colore oculos mundus decepit
at occulto vulnere corda conficit;
fugiamus ridentem, vitemus sequentem,
nam delicias ostentando arte secura
vellet ludendo superare.
Ária.
Spirat anguis
inter flores et colores
explicando tegit fel.
Sed occulto factus ore
homo demens in amore
saepe lambit quasi mel.
Alleluia.
