Marie's rendition of this piece is excellent, all of the trills and passaggio are expertly accomplished. She is in complete mastery of her voice which a beautiful instrument.
Wow you learn something every day! I was watching the movie Shine and this piece is heard twice . I had to find out what was so thankfully the music is listed at the end while the Aria movement is being played! I searched on RUclips and up came this performance. The soprano’s voice is outstanding and I prefer hers to that from the movie’s musical score . While I love baroque and other classical music, there are many, many gaps in my knowledge. But I know beauty when I hear it. And this piece is one of them. I thought Vivaldi’s Nisi Dominus was his best but RV630 equals it in my humble opinion.
This music piece featured prominently in one of my all time favourite movies Shine (1996) about David Helfgott. You have such a tremendously beautiful voice, like others, i can't help but listen over and over again. Thanks for sharing your performance.

Vivaldi composed many great arias, and this piece from Gloria is one of them. Search for Bajazet, Arsilda and other operas, you will find something extraordinary.
This is absolutely masterful. No matter what happens in life, the fact that this exists will be a never ending comfort.

I searched on RUclips and up came this performance. The soprano’s voice is outstanding and I prefer hers to that from the movie’s musical score . While I love baroque and other classical music, there are many, many gaps in my knowledge. But I know beauty when I hear it. And this piece is one of them. I thought Vivaldi’s Nisi Dominus was his best but RV630 equals it in my humble opinion.
I was making a list of my favorite classical music pieces, ranked this number one, and chose this as the best version. Really the best of the best.
