    Love my 2012 Overland - Tows the 22 ft road Van and gets to most off road locations easily. Economical and Comfortable with plenty of creature comforts - would definitely upgrade to a later model at some stage. Don't like the styling shape of the new 2019 model so will probably get a 17 or 18 in a couple more years.

    I know this is 2 years old, but I'm over these idiots always complaining about the Jeep lifting wheels. It's all about the traction control system, if you put any of those other cars over the same spot they would lift wheels as well, and if they didn't the wheel hanging down wouldn't have any traction or grip any how. Also why do they always have it lifted to it's max setting, you only need that in extreme cases, but you people just do that to make it look bad, so you can say, gee it lifts wheels this thing.

    Every time i take my mrs jeep for a long driving, my left knee joints hurts alot, i feel leg room is not wide enough for me. The rest is fairly comfortable though.

    This car should have won the title I think it more capable than the LR series 5 plus its half the price.

    • @meganpitcher9774
      @meganpitcher9774 6 лет назад +1

      No, its 2/3rds the price, and its less capable, e.g. 5 seats vs 7, 15 year old Mercedes chassis from the old ML days with very limited wheel travel. Jeep have done an amazing job of keeping it contemporary but the poor reliability and atrocious after sales service of Jeep would make me very cautious about this vehicle.

    • @jasonswift7098
      @jasonswift7098 6 лет назад +4

      John you're on drugs! the Jeep is quite a bit cheaper and is more capable car off-road. It's not about 7 seats vs 5 as its not a people mover! The engine and chassis has nothing to do with it!! It's not a mercedes engine and chassis anyway. Poor reliability? pffffttt you have no clue! don't comment any more thank you.

      Megan Pitcher, you need to keep up with the times. Since around the 2015 model the Jeep Grand Cherokee's reliability has greatly improved and is nothing like what you claim. Yes it has limited wheel travel but that seems to have almost no detrimental impact on it's ability to get you there when off roading so is hardly a reason to mark it down.
      The Jeep's real advantage is that not only does it have good off roading capability, it also has great towing capability, and probably the best road manners of the competing 4WDs.
      I'm guessing you've never owned a recent model Jeep Grand Cherokee (or even an older one), so you're perhaps not the most qualified person to be commenting on them.

    Very hardy SUV and reliable !!
    I have a request if you are in contact with representatives of a Jeep, then tell them for Russia they made the most reliable jeep!
    There is one Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2013 with a 3.6 engine, it has a mileage of almost 800,000 thousand kilometers or 497,096,954 thousand miles !! Not a problem except a broken gearbox !!

    Interesting the comment that you can get a " bull bar" I have spent the last 3 weeks with ARB, ECB, TJM none of them will commit to their bar being a suitable fit as they have no demand to produce one especially for the Trailhawk. Plenty of take it and try, but no refund if it wont Fit !

    • @MattFieldPhoto
      @MattFieldPhoto 6 лет назад

      Have been looking at one of these for mine which apparently fits fine, you do need to switch to their recovery hooks also though. usa.chiefproducts.com.au/products/wk2-nudge-bar?tab=fitment

      It’s a Mercedes platform the 3.0 v6 that it has is actually a very old vw engine, biggest issue would be air suspension but that would last years

      I’ve owned the Grand Cherokee SRT since 2013 as a 2014 model and it’s an awesome vehicle very well put together no rattles squeaks whatsoever my dad’s 2015 Mercedes GL on the other hand has a lot of interior noises.
