HOW TO LIE LIKE A PRO

  • Research shows we are born liars, but we don't naturally become expert liars so many are easily caught. But lying can be improved with practice and skill. Here are top tips to deceive people according to expert liars. This information is to help you detect lies, not to practice it yourself. Honestly.
    Lie ethically.
This is also known as paltering. It is the third kind of lie after omission, which is revealing only partial truth, and commission-which is telling something that isnt. Politicians call it the ethical lie, because it is a way of getting away from hard questions by giving out other facts, instead of actually answering the question itself. For example, a reporter asks a politician - if he is involved with corruption. The senator answers "I am not a part of any illegal financial deals". But the truth is he was involved with a shady transaction a few months ago, but technically he isnt when is answered the question.
    Believe your lies.
You can never make a good lie if you don't believe it. Good liars enjoy the process of lying and thus watching people play their games. On the other hand bad liars wanna get over the lie as soon as possible as not to get caught, because They feel uncomfortable saying something that is against their belief. In the end they are caught because they cannot conceal being uneasy.
    Base it on truth.
It is much easier for a person to believe something that could actually happen, both for the liar and the one being lied to. For example you want to extend your week-end so you file for a leave on a friday. So if youre wearing correctional glasses you might text to your boss saying "I cant go today because my glasses are broken and I cant see anything until its fixed". if youre lucky and your boss is caught by surprise and gullible enough you might get away with a lie that is quite reasonable and easy to remember.
    Keep it simple.
Do not give unnecessary details. If you woke up late and you wanna lie about a broken tire, do not include how it happened and how pissed you were. Bad liars are caught because they exhibit abnormal behaviors. While expert liars tell lies while showing normal behavior.
    Tell a cold lie.
Inexperienced liars tend to act abnormally and over act by being fidgety, over smiling, and doing unnecessary gestures. If you think youre a bad liar and you wanna look confident, act detached - so if you over act you can leave a small room for error so you would still look normal.
    Closeness.
When we lie we want to distance ourselves away from the person we are deceiving because we feel uncomfortable and uneasy. This behavior is often noticeable when we are lying to a friend or romantic partner, who we are usually physically close with and touch intimately. So if you wanna appear believable, maintain physical closeness or be touchy as you would normally do.
    Lie Management.
Only lie when it is necessary and you have something to gain. This is how to manage your lies. Lie less so you can remember which ones to keep. This is how you maintain consistency. Bad liars are caught because they commit inconsistencies with their stories. This happens when they tell a lie to too many people. Only share the lie to someone when it's really important and you have something to gain from it.

Tiger and Bear After revisiting this video after a year, yeah this works, but for me personally I’ve come to a standstill where I no longer understand my own opinion on things because it’s mixed up in all my fake “personas”
I can’t actually have a yes or no answer for most things as I’m constantly switching between the two, so when I ask myself what I myself actually think about it and not what other people think, I become confused, wavering between both, but unable to reach a conclusion.

Lying is an art that can be used as weapon. Just like a sword, it may fool you with the appearance but when it strikes in your skin, it is painful just like how truth hurts you. With the art of lying, you can escape through anything, you can deceive anyone, you can go anywhere but be cautious for when you aren't careful enough, you will be exposed to three feelings; guilt, shame and fear of getting caught. It's just a matter of decision 😏

For me lying is all about the time spent on the people lying, and upholding the lie.
So If I were to meet someone, I would set in stone my personality with them but slightly tweak it when near them to benefit lies depending on how I like or dislike the person.
So here is an example, if I met Bob and my personality was very depressing or sad, Bob might want to help me more, so I will tweak my personality to seem more stable and happy so he doesn't bother me, but to do this, you have to uphold it constantly believing that, that is your personality near Bob.
Another example involving Bob, If I wanted to set a backup plan for him then I would lie but make it easier for them to detect the lie, whilst also associating an action to when I lie, like excessive blinking or to much of a smile, to slight tweaks in my personality. So If I ever get in a situation where Bob finds out about how much I lie and starts to not believe a word I say, I will quickly switch to the truth and then blink excessively etc, as a sign of me lying, so he feels as if what I said was untrue.
Example for this would be, Bob finds out that I lie about most everything, he doesn't believe a word I say, now lets say I didn't want him to find out im gay (this is an extreme example because you would have to lie every other word for him to not believe that you are actually coming out) as soon as I start to realise a pattern of him not believing me, I will tell him "Bob Im gay" with a smile and act like I want attention, now lets assume that Bob, now assumes that I do want attention and he responds with "No I don't think you are gay, I think you're straight and are trying to get attention, or earn some sympathy" Then I start to tell the truth more often doing the slight cue that I am lying.
In a situation where Bob finds out that i'm feigning my excessive blinking etc, In a ditch attempt you try and regain his trust by acting sorry, doing that cue less, and overall trying to build the relation back up, but don't forget to actually give reason to why you were lying (and then while giving reason you lie but without a cue) such as "I just didn't want to hurt you" or something.
And although it is true that you should try and stay close to someone like in the video, don't go overboard, if anything lying is drawn out and requires practice, these are just the points I can describe when I lie, as I don't know how to describe my facial movements and slight psychological changes to lie.

If you ever slip up and they meet, or you tell the wrong lie to the wrong person they will start to be suspicious and notice the inconsistencies. Also be confident and try to keep eye contact. More than 70% of people in the world say lying is bad. True but it's also good to lye for certain situations. Think if someone you know ran right past you on the street and turned left rather than right being chased by a murderer of thief and asked you which way they turned. Would it be better to lie to protect the person or tell the truth. LIE of course. I'd lie to the killer. Because if you tell the truth then it'll put higher risk on the runner. So there's times where it good to lie. It all just depends on the situation.
However the only time when it's bad to lie in a situation like this is when your a witness to a crime. If you lie to the police then you'll be at risk and everyone else around you. Never lie to the police. Even if it's something bad a friend or relative did. Hold them accountable. People can learn from there mistakes.

Even lying, which we were taught to be bad behavior, turns out to be a natural method, but it is a double-edged sword. Lying is a human behavior that comes from nature and has contributed to us reaching this point of progress.

The way I lie I usually act, since communication is more visual then verbal.
Example I pretend to be angry and out raged, even though I'm happy for the results.
How I make this more believable is that I always act shy and nervous, so when they see me get mad it shocks them and they don't notice I'm lying, instead they think I'm just enraged.
One time my father was crying since we got in a fight, he said I was starting to rebel too much and it hurt me.
Although I felt nothing for him I pretended like I did, I told him that I felt like he didn't love or notice me anymore and notice others over me.
I act crying and he thought he was making me feel left out, when in reality I wanted him out of my life and die terribly.
Lying for me is easy, although I've been lying since childhood just to get what I want by charming and intimidating people.
Others are actually starting to think I might be a psychopath because of it but honestly I couldn't care less about their opinions.
Lying is easy, making a superficial charm is no problem, but perfecting it.
Mastering and making it last and believable is what most people fail.
Try lying to your self, by acting egotistical, and another tip read other people's personalities.
The more better you are at reading people the better you can lie.
At least for me that is~

Slight "manipulation" and omission of facts is a good alternative. Remember, keep the details to a minimum. Less to remember and being overly detailed draws more suspicion from people who suspect possible trickery. I read all that somewhere, swear I'm not lying.

People want to know how to be a good liar, well here is how to catch a liar.
    1. When they lie about something, ask them a specific detail or improvise on the subject, it is hard to make up a lie on the spot, I used to lie a LOT, so I would know this pretty well. ALWAYS ask for specific details, if it takes long for them to tell you then they **might** be lying
    2. Stuttering. Stuttering is a sign of nervousness, but then people could also have social anxiety
    3. saying things that could literally never happen lmao, I'm in 7th grade and some kid said that they went on a plane and the plane did a full flip. The other kid believes it
    4. If they are known for being rude, they are also **probably** liars
    5. They say that they are bad at lying. Only a liar would say that, I said that before
    6. If you get one of these signs then ask them to tell the story again, make sure that they don't change their story
    You are welcome
