Really good point that RTD never wrote a TARDIS team of three before, I somehow never realised that before you pointed out.
Am interested to see what he does with it.
Yeah he did, he had the Doctor, Rose and the guy from Dalek. Then the Doctor, Rose and Jack and in Season 3, the Doctor, Martha and Jack
@@daveellis3048 true. That was all for very limited runs of a few episodes each though. Be interesting to see him do a whole season with three (if that’s what he is doing)
Great to have this officially announced & put the horrible news articles the rest. Like you I’m excited to see a three TARDIS team again which as you say we’ve have a few times before but hopefully it’ll be a longer stint this time
Moffat did them quite regularly but be good to see RTD tackle them
Its gard to get hyped when im not yet invested in the new dr and ruby yet ...and alresdy we know ruby is fine and we getting another compsnion or whatever ....its like i cant yet get fully on board before theyve moved along a fair bit its like we know the next 16 episodes all will be fine vibe ....i dunno i wanna get on board but skmehow i cant sadly 💙💙
The downside of them filming so far in advance
@@CulturePhilter literally! Like literally it's a different world we are in now like I get it but oh my days
Dumb suggestion just for fun: Your Companion Regeneration theory could still somehow work if Ruby is shown bi-generating into Varada Sethu's character at some point.
I don't think there's even the slightest chance of this happening, but if a second bi-generation event occurred so soon after the first one, despite bi-generation being described originally as a myth, it would be worth investigating a bit.
Ha. Yeah I guess it is still possible. Unlikely but possible.
Dammit! That's just what I was thinking, but you got there first. Don't lose heart(s) @CulturePhilter!
@@YourQueerGreatAuntie - maybe 😄
It was said that Millie would be in three episodes of series 15 maybe that still is the case but now I'm starting to think that whole leak was just wrong, 2:00 unless it's a Bi-Generation
It’s possible they’ll share an episode or two before Millie is absent for a bit and then returning for two part finale (which could count as “one story”)
@@CulturePhilter I thought that before this announcement but now it seems like Ruby might just be around for the whole season
@kylerees3491 How can they have a bi-generation if they are not Time Lords? I don't think they go down that route but it sounds pretty stupid to me the whole bi-generation is just nonsense and pure laziness.
@@joshuajoshua2732 - we don’t know who or what Ruby really is. She could be from anywhere originally, including Gallifrey.
@thomas_vd I didn't say it was confirmed
I hope Verada Sethu's character is not another modern day earth companion.
Me too. Hoping they meet her in the 1950s ep she was seen filming a few months ago. It’s about time we had a non-modern day companion. And if Ruby is still there then we have her as modern day audience insert if that’s what they usually worry about.
@@CulturePhilter Yeah I think it would be great to see someone from the past adjust to the modern world. Kind of like vincent and the doctor except for a whole series
Cool
😎
Its cross my eyes why ruby Sunday is not moving oh something never change su garden
Sorry I don’t think I understand what you are saying.
@@CulturePhilter well that's a good question mate i was saying ruby 8s leaving if the press say she is moving why she isn't at the Christmas episode This year hmm SU garden
New companion comin’ up. K?
Do you like multiple companions at once or prefer just Doctor and one companion?
@@CulturePhilter I'm interested in what will happen. I don't mind one companion and the occasional multiple companions.
@@59rlmccormack - I think I like variety over anything. RTD’s first era got a bit repetitive just having a single companion. Moffat mixed it up a bit more. Sometimes it was one companion, sometimes two. Chi bell had three. I’d like it when it’s not just assumed it will be a set amount. Have two for a few seasons then have one again then have 3 for a season then 2 again. That kind of thing.
Is it too early to say best TARDIS team?
lol. Definitely too early, but looking forward to seeing if it can be.
