My only hope is they have the restraint not to bring back David Tennant, while there's drama potential between the Doctor and Martha, I'd think it's more interesting if Ncuti's Doctor had to face the fallout for his past life's mistake.

The idea of reviving Torchwood without John Barrowman is so funny to me, as someone who adores the show so much. Well other than Gwen, all the other characters are dead. What? We’re going to get Gwen, Rhys, and Anwen’s domestic life? Andy and Norton fighting in the 1950s? I would love it, but I feel like it would be so much better if Gwen was included in UNIT instead of starting Torchwood again. This way, they don’t have to introduce a new group alongside UNIT.
Yeah, current-era Unit is clearly handling the situations that otherwise might have fallen to Torchwood. I agree it'd be fun to see Gwen leading some sort of covert UNIT team, as if whatever was left of Torchwood got absorbed into UNIT.

Screw having a Sasha spinoff. Give us a Gomez Spinoff. Missy during those in between years when she isn't quite good, isn't quite bad. She gets mistaken for the Doctor and says "Why yes I am!" and ends up in this situation where the protagnists are expecting her to save them, and she's playing her own game. So she Mary Poppins her way through things trying to one up the series bad guys, only something Shifts. The bad guys just piss her off, or she actually comes to respect the protagonists. Serial ends with a tie in to her going to the Capaldi doctor and having that important moment we never saw on camera! "I can't do this alone. They need help, and I'm not good enough. Help me be better!" More importantly though if we got a Master spinoff series I would want to get soft cannon continuity for all the different versions of the Master and in which order we're meeting them. Like is Sascha really post Gomez, or is he really early in the timeline? Could he be pre Simms? Have there been Masters that the doctor never met and what did they do?
@fritomusic7832: Would love to see 6/7/8 Doctor Miniseries , they all should have been given more episodes than they got , their Lives cut short..... never did understand the BBC & still don't sadly , 8 episodes P /Y should be atlease 12 including Easter / Christmas specials 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I'd still love for it to be a Doctor Who story set with just the villians in the past. Pure Silurians vs Sea Devils back in prehistoric age earth, no UNIT involved personally
I am definitely up for a Master spinoff, it would suit a darker series. I would love to see Michelle Gomez reprise her role or perhaps a David Bradley esque recreation of an old who master, e.g. Delgado.
I would lose my shit if this is real. Ever since her first episode Martha has been my favourite companion and i have been wanting her to return for soooo long.
What?! No one wanted to see the adventures of the Patanosta gang? I'd love to see that - hopefully leaning towards an R rating if they let the lizard have her way. She did eat Jack the Ripper after all. Show don't tell ;-)
if you and everyone dont want the 14th doctor back, why did russelll plit them , he may as well have just regenerated ncuti, no he split them, therre has to be a reason for this in his impossable head. tennant must have a reason to still be alive for later.
I want a spin-off series where the first Doctor was an old white man and had a granddaughter. The current Doctor is ginger and is a straight white guy that looks like Eddie Redmayne. Also where Davros is in a life support hover chair because he’s a frail Kaled.
My dream scenario has always been some big budget feature film remakes of classic who adventures, such as Talons of Weng Chiang, Claws of Axos, Terror of the Autons, Day of the Daleks, Horror of Fang Rock and The Moonbase (second Cyberman Adventure)
I remember the early days of the rtd era one, when davis was on his equality mission and he introduced marthas family. Only to discard them. There was all that rtd wibbly wobbley, timey wimey rtd era one nonsense about martha and the hamar dass key in journeys end. He was heading for the door. Cramming in david Tennants first departure. Freema ageyma i recall gave out about how they handled her character and implied that she couldn't do anyother work. In order to do law and order uk. She had to be fired from bbc contract. As a result she didn't work for a long time. I am glad she is doing something. I just hope that rtd doesn't mess up the 14th dr stuff. That would be unfair to Tennant. Who wants a break from the role. And would undermine rtds previous comments
Hope not, Noel Clarke's petty vendetta against John Barrowman and Clarke's own problem accusations of Sexually inappropriate behaviour, would have a lot of fans boycotting it
I feel like an anthology series where every episode follows a different whoniverse character would be pretty fun. Kind of like the clone wars TV show. They could even check in on certain planets with new characters sometimes.
I want to see a quirky Northern Exposure-esque series about a small town in Canada with a refugee community of Gallifreyeans trying to fit in, and not be noticed.
@@Pat12379 it’s UK friendly and close to Alaska. Do you remember the flack Torchwood received for going to the USA? Highlands of Scotland might work too. It just has to be a small quirky town not in London or Cardiff.
@k.nataliedegraff9423 why does it being near Alaska mater and what do you mean uk friendly if people got mad at tham for going to America they'd get made at than for going to Canada aswell
I think a one off comedy, set completely on earth (no timey wimey stuff) and centred around the family has potential, 14 could use his screwdriver to actually assemble some IKEA furniture, lmao 🤣
Think it is about time (see what I did there :P) that we have a mini-series where the key of time is broken and that the companions as the Doctor is otherwise indisposed have to travel through time, get the parts back before the various enemies of the doctor grab it and cause chaos and confusion. I would like to see a series where we have yet another reason for the destruction of Atlantis or find another colony of Atlanteans who are not looking to conquer the planet. Perhaps a series set before the red dawn on Mars showing the Ice Warriors and their attempts to survive the changes on Mars or something similar thoughts?
I missed the chance to make a suggestion but I LOVE Matt Smith’s idea to return as The Master. I think they could make a whole mini series w/ him, Rory, Amy and River in New York in like maybe the 1950s. They think the Doctor came back for them and broke his rule about time travel. But in reality it’s The Master in disguise! Amy even had that whole arc with clones/copied in S6, so it would make sense The Master could fool her at this point if he looks just like the 11th Doctor
What I think to be really cool was when this 5 part show will tell us what happened to the Doctor in "73 yards" when he had vanished from Ruby's point of view. In other words: if we are to see his timeline, that would be soooooo great!
@@Pat12379 Of course he knows what happened, because he wrote the story! But to leave us fans in the dark just like that is very unsatisfying! I'd be very thankful if you would tell us what you know, though.

Just a grumble about your choice of language in this. You said "take these with a grain of salt". The English expression is to take things "with a pinch of salt" not a grain. Americans do say grain of salt, so perhaps you're trying to appeal to an American audience, but I'm willing to bet that if Americans like your content, it's partly because you're British and the way you speak is novel for them. Sorry for grumbling, but the dilution of English winds me up.
Ok my thoughts , Torchwood institute would get my attention we have a load of Companions , while l like the idea of Martha l think the fans would get bored really Quickly so do others like jo grant , mel , teagan , peri ,nissa leela , ace , etc l think would be great. It's said that he walks through the gaps, The Spiteful One." The older patron at the pub was pretty much setting up the plot for the spin off, a liminal space where The Spiteful One (the name was capitalised in the subtitles, can't just be a throwaway name) in slowly coming through the gaps. We even heard the mention of Reprobate, the god of spite when introducing Sutekh, cannot be a coincidence either.
I think it’s going to introduce the sea devil/ Silurian God Golgoth from the Cyberman comic series considering it’s going to be a fantasy series, we’ve seen Gods appearing everywhere and RTD weirdly lingered on Telos a lot in Empire of death.
Martha needs her own spin-off show but sea devils is not what I had in mind. This won't be the wait I'm sorry, Martha deserves better storywriting than sea devils I was thinking more like going on her own adventures in space in her own spaceship. this is just a downgrade of what she is capable of.

Help me be better!"
More importantly though if we got a Master spinoff series I would want to get soft cannon continuity for all the different versions of the Master and in which order we're meeting them. Like is Sascha really post Gomez, or is he really early in the timeline? Could he be pre Simms? Have there been Masters that the doctor never met and what did they do?
I would be fine if we got an 8th Doctor mini series, but that would be fine because it’s giving 8 that series he deserves
@fritomusic7832:
Would love to see
6/7/8 Doctor
Miniseries , they all
should have been
given more episodes
than they got , their
Lives cut short.....
never did understand
the BBC & still don't
sadly , 8 episodes P /Y
should be atlease 12
including Easter /
Christmas specials
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I'd still love for it to be a Doctor Who story set with just the villians in the past. Pure Silurians vs Sea Devils back in prehistoric age earth, no UNIT involved personally
I am definitely up for a Master spinoff, it would suit a darker series. I would love to see Michelle Gomez reprise her role or perhaps a David Bradley esque recreation of an old who master, e.g. Delgado.
I would lose my shit if this is real. Ever since her first episode Martha has been my favourite companion and i have been wanting her to return for soooo long.
I liked Martha as a companion. It will be funny if the ratings and audience viewership end up being better than those for the new Dr. Who.
Wish we could get Class S2😢
What if it's a 5 part series that tells the story of Martha during her year of traveling the earth telling everyone about The Doctor?
What?! No one wanted to see the adventures of the Patanosta gang? I'd love to see that - hopefully leaning towards an R rating if they let the lizard have her way. She did eat Jack the Ripper after all. Show don't tell ;-)
Lol, that could be fun
I dont think the actors wanted to deal with all the makeup
@@potsdam28 shame :-(
@@Tetsumi100 they’ve done Big Finish. Not the same I know
I would love for Freema Agyeman to come back! Martha is so underrated!
if you and everyone dont want the 14th doctor back, why did russelll plit them , he may as well have just regenerated ncuti, no he split them, therre has to be a reason for this in his impossable head. tennant must have a reason to still be alive for later.
Would love a river song story. Or the Ponds living in the past. Or a gallifreyan bedtime story show.
I love the idea of tee time with cherry. She's such a great character. I wouldn't mind spending you know like 30 minutes with her every week
I think "Torchwood" was very much of it's time, the late noughties.
We need a Time Lord rap battle called "My Milkshake Brings all the Boys to the Valeyard".
"Shut up"
-the Doctor
I want a spin-off series where the first Doctor was an old white man and had a granddaughter. The current Doctor is ginger and is a straight white guy that looks like Eddie Redmayne. Also where Davros is in a life support hover chair because he’s a frail Kaled.
You are a insane troll.
Rory and amy founding unit could be a fun spin off
My dream scenario has always been some big budget feature film remakes of classic who adventures, such as Talons of Weng Chiang, Claws of Axos, Terror of the Autons, Day of the Daleks, Horror of Fang Rock and The Moonbase (second Cyberman Adventure)
8th Doctor spin off following some of his big finish adventures would be amazing
The new spin offs Looks promising
Was the Sarah Jane adventures not the first spinoff? Or Torchwood?
If this was real it would be the 4rd spin off.
K9 and company
The Sarah Jane adventures
Torchwood
And don't forget Class
If Martha is back, where is Mickey? Last we saw her, she was doing freelance work with Mickey.
Hope not, Noel Clarke's petty vendetta against John Barrowman and Clarke's own problem accusations of Sexually inappropriate behaviour, would have a lot of fans boycotting it
Eaten by a zygon
If it is mentioned in the series at all, I hope that they broke up, so that they have an excuse to not use Noel Clarke.
I hope they kill off the character entirely with a line about his death in the first episode. Then I'll be able to relax.
They could recast Mickey with someone who doesn't have a pile of allegations against him.
Tia Kofi! Are you a drag race fan?
The series might have the same types of themes as 73 Yards, hence the quote being dropped in that episode. A spin-off similar to Turn Left / 73 Yards.
I feel like an anthology series where every episode follows a different whoniverse character would be pretty fun. Kind of like the clone wars TV show. They could even check in on certain planets with new characters sometimes.
It would probably have to be animated, or that could get expensive, but I like it.
I want to see a quirky Northern Exposure-esque series about a small town in Canada with a refugee community of Gallifreyeans trying to fit in, and not be noticed.
Great idea! Kind of like 3rd Rock
Why in Canada
@@Pat12379 it’s UK friendly and close to Alaska. Do you remember the flack Torchwood received for going to the USA? Highlands of Scotland might work too. It just has to be a small quirky town not in London or Cardiff.
@@Pat12379 Australian Outback or New Zealand would be awesome too.
@k.nataliedegraff9423 why does it being near Alaska mater and what do you mean uk friendly if people got mad at tham for going to America they'd get made at than for going to Canada aswell
I wouldn’t want a whole 14 and Donna series but a special for Red Nose Day or Christmas centred around them would be great
No. They are done. You got the comeback. Let it end. It's someone else's turn now
I think a one off comedy, set completely on earth (no timey wimey stuff) and centred around the family has potential, 14 could use his screwdriver to actually assemble some IKEA furniture, lmao 🤣
I would like a Division spinoff starring pre Hartnell doctors.
We need more Jo Martin.
Amen to that!@@B__C__
I would love a 24 season long series called “A night on Darillium”
Oooh... even a film where we get to see a few of their adventures might be good
@@TheCagedCorvid yessss! I think river and 12 are the best pairing and the version of the doctor she has so much love for in the library
I don't think they'd be allowed to play that on TV
Sea Devils yawn,....
Don't you think he looks tired
Think it is about time (see what I did there :P) that we have a mini-series where the key of time is broken and that the companions as the Doctor is otherwise indisposed have to travel through time, get the parts back before the various enemies of the doctor grab it and cause chaos and confusion.
I would like to see a series where we have yet another reason for the destruction of Atlantis or find another colony of Atlanteans who are not looking to conquer the planet.
Perhaps a series set before the red dawn on Mars showing the Ice Warriors and their attempts to survive the changes on Mars or something similar thoughts?
wow this is so hype!!
5:45 wasn't this already sorta confirmed being real? It's supposed to be called "Partners in Crime".
I love Martha, I very much dislike the Sea Devils... if these leaks are all true, I don't know how I feel about it.
Rtd said he knows what happend but its so obvious but no one guessed amd he's not gonna reveal it to hope he's just lying
@@Pat12379 Of course he knows what happened, because he wrote the story! But to leave us fans in the dark just like that is very unsatisfying!
I'd be very thankful if you would tell us what you know, though.
@lupus.andron.exhaustus he could've just not think about what haplend to him in that and I don't work at the bbc what would I know about it
@@Pat12379 I'm sorry! I don't know why, but somehow I misunderstood your first comment completely! Shame on me!
I remember when Rose's story ended. I was kind of sad because I like Rose. I didn't care for The Runaway Bride that much. Then Martha Jones popped up and all of a sudden, I loved her (in a nice way). And she and is still my favorite companion. Obviously, I'm a fan of Freema too!
Ok my thoughts ,
Torchwood institute
would get my attention
we have a load of
Companions , while l
like the idea of
Martha l think the fans
would get bored really
Quickly so do others
like jo grant , mel , teagan , peri ,nissa
leela , ace , etc l
think would be great.
SJA could be renamed
S J & Associates &
again a companion or
two ? As for 'Class' it
didn't work for me &
others the aliens would
overpower the Humans
as we are weak ,finally
I hope it happens lets
put the negatives feedback to bed ,&
think positive thoughts
"The clifftops are a boundary between the land and the sea. A liminal space neither here nor there, where rules are suspended. [...] This land is a powerful place.
What is the problem with John Barrowman?????? Are we that woke????? Seriously.
I think it’s going to introduce the sea devil/ Silurian God Golgoth from the Cyberman comic series considering it’s going to be a fantasy series, we’ve seen Gods appearing everywhere and RTD weirdly lingered on Telos a lot in Empire of death.
Happy about new spinoff and Martha's return. Not happy about more Fantasy. I would prefer more Sci Fi. And 5 episodes per Season is not enough.
Sounds awful. I enjoyed Torchwood, but Who has gone a long way down hill since then. Sounds like "girlboss" paradise, if you enjoy that though.
Why would you put such a big spoiler in the thumbnail and the title of the video? How are we supposed to avoid it?
This could be cool should definitely in the sailurians though
Title is very inticing, love doctor who so any spin offs are welcome to me.
Martha needs her own spin-off show but sea devils is not what I had in mind. This won't be the wait I'm sorry, Martha deserves better storywriting than sea devils I was thinking more like going on her own adventures in space in her own spaceship. this is just a downgrade of what she is capable of.
Id love a mini series of Luke, Rani, and Clyde from Sarah Jane. Follow them as they get themselves into danger, it would be great.
Oh my goodness! I used to think she was such a babe.
.. Its ok, Im of the generation who who thought that sort of thing.
But seriously, I really loved her time with the series.
I'd love to see an Ace spin-off. Or Eve Myles coming back as Gwen to run her own new group.
Interesting use of the word ‘confirmed’ in the thumbnail
'Confirmed' as in 'clickbait'.
