- Hi Friends! In today's tutorial we'll be making the Country Cottage Stocking, just in time for the holidays! This crochet Christmas stocking has a unique texture and works up surprisingly fast! Hope you all enjoy this pattern!

This is a GREAT tutorial! I was actually able to do it! I am so proud of myself because I always have issues making FPDC or BPDC. I was also worried about the heel. Thanks to your slow and patient teaching I was finally able to do it. Thank you so much! I have only one small suggestion. White yarn on a white background is hard to see lol. I had to strain my little old lady eyes! ;) Great job, I liked and subscribed!

Yes an awesome tutorial I agree the white was a little hard to see but I finally achieved the heel part. I was so proud of myself and will be buying the written pattern

I love this series!! I love in particular for the stocking that you made the heel, then joined the body to it! It makes working the rest of the stocking so much easier knowing once I'm done with the top/band, I'm totally done and don't have to go back and stitch the heel 😁💕 thank you!!!

I just started mine for my 19 yr old grandson. They're pretty easy so far. I really like the FPDC stitch so I find that stitch very easy. Thanks for the easy to understand tutorial & pattern.

I loved the way this stocking worked up! The texture was lovely and the pattern was able to scale very well for smaller stockings for my pups and bigger ones the rest of the family. I will keep coming back to this one in years to come! 🥰

Just started my second stocking. I love this!!!!! I have to make 3 for a friend. She wanted crocheted stockings for her kids. These are so nice! I am going to line these to help keep from stretching.

I am in LOVE with this pattern!! I've made these for my oldest daughter and son and am starting a 3rd one, today, for my youngest son. 💕 Only change I make is I prefer 36 rounds for the height with worsted weight yarn. This is seriously perfection and I looked for so long for crochet stocking patterns. This is the only one I LOVE the look of and thoroughly enjoy making. Thank you!

Oh, this is righteous! So easy. I've been putting off doing christmas stockings but this made it easy and now I'm off to the races. Beautiful stitching in the body. And the great thing is I can take each component from the unique way to make the cuff, to the stitch and use it in making and pulling together other things. This was a wonderful learning experience. @@brookeparrott3172 I used Caron one pound with a 5mm hook and was more than enough to 2 stockings not including contrast color.
