Awwww you just game me a good idea. I can do the same 😄. I am in Austin and it’s starting to feel a little colder as we get closer to December. Thank you!!!! ❤️
Made one for my three year old, now she wants to wear it everywhere and wants more colors! In her words, "momma, it's adorable!" so happy i found this, my mil wants one now lol
I made this pattern, came out great. Husband said I look like a genie, that I should add a costume gem to the forehead area. I told him to F off . I like my headband/ear warmer.
Oh my word! I saw this and was like oh I for sure can’t do that!! Then I did! And it’s so beautiful and forgiving if your edges aren’t perfect! I’m in love! I’m going to be like crochet Oprah!!! Everyone gets a headband! 😆 it only took me an hour and a half to make it from start to finish! Amazing tutorial I love it so much! I never comment on videos, that’s how much I loved this! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
This pattern instantly grabbed my eye on instagram and I was delighted to see you had a video tutorial for it as well! Just finished the headband today and it worked up beautifully. Very easy to follow video and I loved that you included all the different size options and their measurements. Looking forward to your next designs :)
I just tested positive and I’ve been spending the last two days (between sleeping, sleeping, and doing house things) making this. It’s coming out so cute! I’m not done yet but no doubt it’s gonna be great! Thanks for the tutorial!
I made this for my teen daughter (she is extremely small), so I actually used a #3 light weight yarn with a (G)4.50 mm hook. I love how it turned out! Very dainty, but the detail was still very obvious. I did 3 repeats. Thank you so very much for this fun and cute headband! It was extremely fun to crochet and was my first time using the FHDC. As a long time crocheter, who has always used the chain method, it was a tad challenging at first but I absolutely LOVE it and got the hang of it quickly. Thanks again!!
I am attempting to make this pattern now you give great instructions and I appreciate the no background music which typically makes it difficult to follow.
just finished making the Picot headband and it turned out great. My granddaughter is going to love it, I know I do. The tutorial was very easy to follow.....Thank you
I made this twice. The first time I made an adult medium based on my head measurements, but it was way too big. So, I counted the number of stitches that felt comfortable on my head (chain 65) and redid the whole thing. It is so cute and I can't wait for my friends to see it on. ❤ Thank you for the video!
I am a beginner, so this was beyond my skill but I will be striving to achieve this pattern as I know my granddaughters will love it. Thank you and God Bless
Wow! You packed all kinds of crochet methods or patterns into one video and did it slowly enough I can follow along. Going to make some for new babies being born into the family.
Thank you for an amazing pattern I just made this for my granddaughter for her birthday and I loving it so much as that I'm going to make myself one and anybody else that might want one thank you again
I just want you to know that when I watched this tutorial I was so happy. You explained how to fold the band so I got it immediately. When you've done it before and/or have experience it's easy. But for a beginner like me it's not easy at all. Thank you so very much for showing me how to fold and sew this. It is greatly appreciated 👍👍👍
This pattern is so cute and beginner friendly, the tutorial was so easy to follow, and I love the end result! Plus it only took me about an hour and a half to complete! Thank you!!
This is such an amazing video! In the beginning I felt intimidated, but as I went along with the video, it was a breeze! I’ve made one headband for myself and plan on making a matching one for my daughter. Thank you for making this video!!
What a delightful pattern! I tried to make it for one of my friends but got too frustrated because I was under a time crunch. I knew I could do it....came back with a single color of yarn and an I-got-this-mindset! It turned out so cute.
I've discovered that though my daughter's head circumference is 21.3 inches, the band is too short and further more with the fold, it's going to be shorter. So I had to extend it to an adult large(another 6 stiches), join the 2 pieces and complete. it fit perfectly! I also believe my stitches could have been tight. I had so much fun, I'm keeping the first one for myself and doing another brand new one for my daughter! Thank you again for the tutorial. I absolutely love it!!
Thank you very much for this. I made the Picot Headband for my daughter and it came out exceptionally well. Keep up the good work and help us beginners make more crochet projects. God bless you.
Its my first time doing a front half double crochet Its not easy for me but now i got it yesssssss finally😂😂 i'm a newbie thats why i'm struggling but because i love to crochet i love to try and try too until i succed yeahhh💪😂

The stretchy starting row gives a much better edge that goes better with any project. I’m going to make at least one of these beautiful headbands today!

I have crochet one four my youngest daughter and my next projects are headbands for the other three after sending them photos. So happy to have found your site

Love this headband it's so pretty and easy to make. I have tried several times to do the foundation chain that way with no success. But you took time to show us how to do it and now I can do it. Thank you for a great tutorial. 👍
Great, clear tutorial for beginners. I have done some crochet but the picot part was new to me, as well as foundation half double crochet. I used a bulkier yarn and adjusted the number of stitches and rows accordingly.
Beautiful pattern and my headband turned out amazing, except that even though I used the correct weight yarn and hook and followed the sizing chart, it is way too large. The instructions were great, however, and easy to follow, so I’m going to try it again in a smaller size. They will make great gifts! Thank you!
♥the addition of the instructions on the screen and no silly music♥ thanks for sharing your idea!
