hello there, CJ! hope you notice this comment. I just made one to sell but I'm confused on the costing. How much would you sell this? I just love this design in particular, thanks❤️🙏🙏
As a first time crocheter finding other videos too complicated i found this video easy to follow along with and memorize to do it in the future. But i did use a size 4 yarn (instead of a size 5) with a 6.5mm hook and it turned out just as pretty. Amazing job!!
I made these while quarantined for four days. I could not stop making them!!! I made 5 in quick succession! I used Big Twist Natural Blend, and K+C alpaca. Both are a size 6 yarn, so I went up to a 8mm hook. I did an initial chain of 57 with 7 rows each. The tip to make the starting chain fairly tight was a very helpful! Usually I go up a hook size for starting chains, but that was not necessary with this project.
I made one for my dog walker, she’s going up to the snow this weekend and I thought it would be a nice Valentines present! Thank you for the quick gift idea! Sending love your way!
I made a headband, but instead of using regular yarn, I used T-shirt yarn. I made this for my mom & t-shirt yarn is all I had, my mom loved it. Thank you so much for the tutorial..
This has been the clearest version of how to creat the front part.. . I will still need to practice a few times but this has been so helpful, thank you 🙏
Loved this tutorial! Was able to make it in under 2 hours, considering I’m a newbie to crochet I’m impressed! I don’t have a yarn needle so used a bobby pin lol! My first one turned out too small but worked out as the person I’m making it for has a daughter so this gift has now turned into a matching mommy- daughter moment! I’ll take your advice and measure first next time! I’m so happy I found this tutorial!
I absolutely love this tutorial. Thank you, I can't wait to make it. But I don't have a channel of own nor am I on any of the social media sites, I just love to watch the crochet channels. Wow so much talent.
Love this headband/ear warmers!! Thank you for this tutorial & pattern. I’ve made several already in the past wk & measured on my head as well as my 5 yr old’s head. These will be gifted this Xmas. For reference, I use med size yarn with K hook 6.55 mm & chain 70 for adult head. For kid size, I use K hook & chain 60. For baby (6-18 mo), J hook 6 mm & chain 50. Worked out well for me.
I am a beginner to crotchet! I love this pattern and have many of them as Christmas gifts. They really do work up quickly and they are beautiful! Thank you so much!
Hi cj, to think that im putting this off for s long time thinking this headband thing is soooo complicated and hard for me then i finally have the guts to try this with you as mychosen instructor well i just have the laugh of my life this is so damm easy thank you!
Hi Michele. Im having a problem and wondering if you could help? In the video and the lady says for the row after your chain row, flip the chain row and do the stitch in the 2nd row. I am. having such a hard time trying to pull my hook through. I have the right kind of yarn and hook. my tension appears to be perfect. Not tight and not too loose. Can you help? I really want to start this. Thank you.
I cant wait to try this pattern! Thanks to your tutorials I've found a hobby I never knew I was capable of doing and now I love making projects so much!!
Best tutorial I've come across! So easy and well explained and results are so cute. best thing is is that you can use any stitch to.make this headband!! I've made multiple with different stitches and it's so easy. Thank you so much!!!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I've made 3 headbands in 2 days. I used different yarns and hook so I measured my head with the foundation chains then worked my way from there. This is definitely a beautiful stitch! Thanks again ❤️
You explained the shape of the half double crochet perfectly and how to avoid the "stitch" on the front. Good work! Thank you for the video and free pattern!
Thank you very much for this video. I'm a beginner but it was so easy to understand and follow. Under few hours I've just made my own headband ☺☺ And I'm really proud of myself🤗
Instead of making the whole band try to measure your head first and it won’t be a problem, you can just do one row and put it around your head too ; or look at your tension or change the hook size ; I’ve made multiple sizes and they have all worked . Also check the type of yarn you are using it makes a difference .hope you will all try again . Dani your patterns are amazing -thank you
Guess I'm buying more yarn tomorrow. Need to try this. Thank you. Update: made first headband for my daughter last night. Love love love it. Would attach a picture, but no idea how to. Thank you for the easy-to-follow tutorial!
Absolutely fantastic and so easy to follow your directions... I made my first one and it is perfect, Cannot wait to make more...thank you so much for this video...

i am doing this right now, clear and easy to follow tutorial of yours,,thank you,,cant wait to give as gift to my friend..
You guided so well I must say
It turned out amazing, however it didnt fit me amd was too smal and child sized so i suggest making maybe 20 more chains or so.
you can always measure your head first so you can adjust for your own personal head size :) not everyone’s head is the same
Happened to me too😃
Same problem....
Yes, far too small. I agree. Chain 75 for me. Great video though 😊
