You go girl! I am 79 and just having a blast creating for my daughter-in-love, grand’s & great grand’s head band’s, pony tail covered band’s…nothing is more comfy than a crocheted headband.
I started at 65! I was a prolific knitter. Still not great at crochet. My tension is uneven but I still enjoy it. Love that you young girls are keeping the old handcrafts alive 🥰
Not a beginner at crochet but definitely not a pro, this has been one of my favourite tutorials. You explained everything so well and it was very easy to follow! I made one of these for my mom and she loves it. Thank you!!
Just learning how to crochet, this is a great starter project! It is a pattern that comes together quickly and Claudette's instructions are easy to follow. I used a bulkier yarn and this will be a fabulous headband for the winter, and it's pretty! Finished garment comes out exactly as pictured in the tutorial!
Wow, really super easy and cute. I left crocheting after elementary and now at 31tears old am back to it again. Finished this headband in one n half hour. I’ll be making different colors too. Thanks a bunch
You do such a good job of explaining and illustrating. Especially showing which chain you should start out at, that's challenging for many of us. I can't wait to try making this pretty thing, with winter coming it will be a welcome addition. How I wish RUclips would have been around 50 years ago when I was first starting out.
I just picked crocheting again, after 37 years of neglect. I tried watching other videos and looking at written patterns but didn’t do well. I was able to follow yours and now I can’t stop. You are an excellent teacher.
Thank you so much for this very easy-to-follow tutorial! I made one of these in a couple of hours while watching a movie. And it turned out amazing!!!!
Your work is so appreciated. I'm a beginner and just started a week ago. After I wasn't even able to complete 20 stitches the days before, I made this piece today in a few hours. Your detailed explanation helped me create my first piece. My daughter loved it! Thank you!
Today I found this video and I made the most beautiful band. I made it with Bernat Softy chunky yarn. For my head, 60 chains and 7 roads. Perfect! Thanks for the video!!
I am marking this for my mom because she loved head band and i just know how to crochet squares and flowers and this seems very easy and fun so wish me luck.
I've been crocheting since I was a teen( Im 56) but only afghans, kufis and granny squares which I love to do. I stumble on your video and watched, and I did it. ( I need to get a yarn needle.) It was easy and I took a picture of it to show my co worker who actually crochet like a pro. Thank you Sis.❤❤❤👍🙏
Thank you so much for showing us this way of sewing it together. It works so much better than just sewing it straight across. This is the first time I've seen this method, and it works perfectly! Thank you so much!!
I love love love your tutorials because they are clearly presented, beautifully videotaped and always professionally taught.... I like that the lighting is bright and perfect so we can watch and see exactly what steps are taken ..... thank you for crocheting slowly and explaining your steps each step of the way. I am able to understand your steps and stitches completed and confident I can make it too. So Thank you for sharing your love for crochet and your love for teaching. You’re an excellent teacher and this was an Excellent video!! I am so excited to start this pattern and make my own??!! Thank you!!!! God bless you and your family; and God bless your RUclips channel to grow and bless you exceedingly, abundantly and above all you can think or imagine .... In JESUS Name. ❤️👍
I LOVE how you explain things. In PLAIN English! Thank you! I made these for granddaughters who are at Ohio State University and in their school colors. They loved them!
Claudette, you are a wonderful instructor and it is so easy to follow you. The camera work is excellent. My Granddaughter is in for a beautiful surprise when I give this headband to her. Thank you for sharing your expertise. Kudos to you.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I made one for my younger sister and I am now planning to make one for my mom. This is super easy to follow along! ( P.S. I’m only 11 and I love to crochet)
I want to say thank u for sharing your talent! My daughter in law sent me a picture of an ear warmer & asked if I could make her one. I'm fairly new to crocheting, so I found your video and since this morning I've made 3! U have an incredible talent with the way u teach. Thank you sincerely!!
So helpful!! I'm really new to crochet and you've helped me create my first actual item! This has really helped my confidence so thank you for your time in creating this video!
Absalutely brilliant tutorial, I have to make this its -2°C in the UK right now and your tutorial is excellent and very well explained. Thank you for posting. You have gained a subscriber
I love this pattern, I have made several of these. I use this pattern when I have a small amount of yarn left from a project. It really uses up my yarn by doing this. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents. This pattern is truly easy, as well as beautiful🥰
I followed your directions and made a beautiful ear warmer. Thank you so much for making this video with such good clear directions. 8 really enjoyed it.
Thank you!! I normally only crochet amigurumi but this was so pretty I had to give it a go, your tutorials are so clear and easy to follow and it came out perfectly first try!
FYI - Last Stitch only of Each Row - use a half double into the entire stitch not in the back of the stitch. This makes sewing easier as there aren't gaps and your work is more even. I use Caron Latte Cakes and a 5mm hook for 11 rows.
Thank you for kindly sharing your teaching. You have created a lovely headband. I am going to get one going right away. This is a perfect gift idea, and easy enough for a beginner like me.
I just finished this headband with left over yarn just to try it out, I love the turn out, and now going to make a beige one for my daughter. Thank you , you are fantastic.. I want to add the picture but it doesn't allow..
I am using 3.0mm hook so match some remnant yarn (from one of my wife's knitting projects) and I need 90 chains (+1 for the turn) and probably 10 rows. The yarn is double strand and very hairy, to kind of annoying to use, but once I got the first couple rows done it started getting easier. I'm 5 rows in now. It's good to keep my fingers occupied while I should be thinking about work... otherwise I end up typing prematurely and don't finish the thinking process properly. Along with the other compliments about the clarity of explanation in this video, I would at that the video is also extremely clear throughout, and for me personally, the presentation was such that I could watch the video through once and just know how to make the project now. Excellent (subscribed)
I am 92 years young as my grandchildren say. I have made two of these now and I want to make some more to take to then cancer hospitals for the girls.

Thank you Sis.❤❤❤👍🙏
I have managed to get by with out a needle by using a slightly smaller hook to pull the tail through, it takes longer but it works.
I am 12 and i loved my first project ! Thanks so much 🤍🌼
Perfect last minute gifts for upcoming holidays. ❤
Just found this demonstration to make for my little granddaughter. It's absolutely gorgeous and beautifully demonstrated, thank you x 🥰
Thank you so much for showing us this way of sewing it together. It works so much better than just sewing it straight across. This is the first time I've seen this method, and it works perfectly! Thank you so much!!
Yes, you made it so very easy. I thank you.❤❤❤❤
