Every video I saw was so confusing as to how to do the Tunisian crochet stitch. It was until I saw your video and found the simplest way to do it. You are so clear and concise in explaining everything that needs to be done. Making twisted headbands for my granddaughters…. Thanks for such a positive and easy video.
Thank you for making this Tunisian ear warmer, so easy to make and follow along. I am finishing mine a little different, since my client wants a flower added. So I will flat close the ear warmer and then add a flower of her choice. Again, beautiful work and easy to follow instructions.
Made this for my toddler for cold Japanese winter. I made it with super chunky alpaca in pastel pink and it was super fun fast and easy to make so happy!! Thank you for this tutorial!
I keep seeing these all over thinking they were knit and I’m not a huge fan of knitting bcuz it takes me a lot longer than crocheting, so I’m so excited to see this tutorial that I can actually do !! So beautiful ❤️
Your instructions are very concise and I love that you repeat several rows for learning. I will recommend you to anyone who wants to learn Tunisian. I love that fun twist, too. Thank you!
Fabulous tutorial! You really explained clearly and I could see the project the whole time, it wasn’t blocked by your hands. You made it so simple to understand. Good job!
You hit the nail on the head as far as my dislike for many crochet tutorials, that is, the host covers the work with her/his hands and you cannot see the work. I also dislike those who keep their work far from the camera, I mean, I'm not blind but many hold the work too far away from the camera, and I end up straining to see the stitches. And finally, there are those who include their arms and even one host wears a hat, which is a big distraction to me.
Doing this tomorrow! I think I have found my favourite crochet channel. I love it so much because I adapt he size while making it, even with different size hook. life changing, as I just spent.2 hours on doing other tutorial with wrong hook size and always I was getting not good size of a headband. Thank you for tutorial
Claudette, you are the Best ticker what I now on You Tube!! Years explain very nicely and you always make sure to repot several times !! Thanks 🙏 very very much for your excellent non selfish explanation!! Love ❤️ and All the Best! ❤️😘😘🌺🌷❤️
Just finished the headband! It was so easy to make. I actually did Tunisian crochet!! Thank you! Your teaching is magical!!! My headband came out just like yours, except for one or two ok three small mistakes. 🤪
I am so happy to find this tutorial. In the 80's I used to make baby blankets using an afghan hook using the same technique but instead of going through the hole behind the long stitch and picking up the yarn, I used to go through the long stitch and pick up the yarn. It gave me a nice grid that I would later hand cross stitch with baby designs using yarn and needle. I can't wait to make these and I love the elegant knitted look.
Initially I thought, I can't make it but your way of teaching is so nice and easy that I am successful in making this. Lots of love for you. Keep smiling always.
thank you! i've been waiting and waiting for something to pop up or for me to think of something to make for my aunt for Christmas. This tutorial was so easy and I think I can get it done by tonight! thank you so much!!!
Finished this today and im pretty proud of it even though its my first headband and first ever finished project so its not perfect but i still love it. I used a size 8 mm hook and size 4 yarn.
Thank you for such an easy to follow tutorial! I haven't used my afghan hooks in many years so this reintroduced me to them. A great and functional end result that I completed this morning.
@@gauridixit1983 I used a 6 mm Afghan hook and Lion Brand Scarfie yarn for mine. Much less than one skein was used but I didn't weigh it out to determine how much I used.
It's been a long time since I have done tunisian, but I loved the pillow I made with it. You also so!bed s problem for me; I've wanted a pattern to make my nieces headbands for Christmas, and I think your pattern is perfect. Thanks for the tutorial!
For so few stitches, you *can* use a regular crochet hook - by wrapping a rubberband or some other type of 'wrap' just so the stitches don't fall off the end of the handle of the hook. You can also use a Knooking hook.
That's really pretty. Just a thought: If you made the same thing, but larger, you could make a sort of shawl that went over your shoulders. Don't you think?
This is so much easier than the last twist headband I’ve tried! The stitch turned out so nice and I can’t wait to make this!! I’m assuming the twist and see portion can be done with any stitch pattern not just this one, correct? Thank you!
I have made one and it looks lovely..Only thing is my edges are not even..I did slip stitches as my border..what kind of stitch can I make as border? Thank you for this awesome tutorial!

can you tell the weight and length of the skein you used? also how many skeins did you require for completing this project?
@@gauridixit1983 I used a 6 mm Afghan hook and Lion Brand Scarfie yarn for mine. Much less than one skein was used but I didn't weigh it out to determine how much I used.
@@doglove555 so sorry but what was the total length of the skein you bought? because there are various brands available in market??
??
@@gauridixit1983 Scarfie has over 300 yards in that. you'll need MUCH LESS than that for this headband.
Loved it! You demonstrated so good. I can’t wait to do it.🧶
