      yep....the guy basically try the boots like I try them at the Shoe shop..... I had a pair, and each wights half a ton.....Beautiful boots , trendy but confort is not one of it´s strenghs

    Thank you for your review. That being said, I would have liked to have seen the boot's comfort level at a full stride rather than half-steps. Also, I think many shoes-and boots in particular-can only be assessed for comfort after having been worn for several hours and giving your foot time to go through all the normal motions it executes daily. I have bought boots that I felt fit well when I bought them and walked around the store only to find them chafing at the ankle or creating 'hot spots' later.     Great review, Mr. Hall. I had previously heard complaints about the comfort of the boot in question but your well crafted review convinced me to purchase this piece of footwear, and I can say; I am stunned by the comfort of the Timberland boot.

    Make sure you buy timberlands with insoles. The older ones don't have insoles. Also, they run half to a whole size big so size down.

    I wear them for many years. The first week or so these shoes are like hell on your feet. Especially the part where the tong of the boot is stitched to the area at the 4th lace hole. The Timberlands are hard and uncomfortable, but after a week of walking they turn into a good warm and strong friend that accompanies you for many years.

    Hi Brad wonder if you could help me bought a pair of timberland 6" boots went down a halfe size but not sure if they are still to big and I should of gone down a full size I took the insole out and put my foot on it and theres a finger wide from toe to end of insole i have been informed that it's the right size any smaller and my toe would be at the front of the insole i want a pair in weat but not sure wheather to get the same size. Any information would be appreciated cheers steve. Sorry for long mesage

    I had my 6in premium timberland boots and it wasn’t comfortable at all. It was heavy and while walking the cobbled streets of tbilis it was soooo slippery i can barrly walk without slipping . It wasn’t safe at all
