FALLLING LEAVES SOCK KAL 2023
DETAILS
-The KAL will run from September 15 - November 15
-The goal is to knit one pair of socks ( or more) each month using Fall colored/themed yarn. This includes colorwork, designs, scrappy, textured patterns. As well as Halloween colors and patterns
-Full length and shorty socks included. SIPs (socks in progress) are allowed as long as they are fall related.
-Fingering, sport, dk, worsted...all yarn weights are welcome!
-Crocheted socks are also welcome.
-The KAL will run exclusively on Instagram. There will be no threads in the Ravelry Group.
-I will pick 1 winner each month. Be sure to use the hashtag and tag me in your posts to be eligible to win.
-The offical hashtag is #fallingleavessockkal2023 & #fallingleavessockkal_finish

Lovely intro 🍂 🌳 🍁 What a gorgeous pair of socks. Yes, I am for matchy matchy and almost always use a mini skein for the heel and toe, but Im going to go for "the bulleye's eye" this time and top down. Ive never made top down socks. Have fun at Rhinebeck!

I so learn tons from your videos. Have you considered doing a video on knitting a sock from the toe to cuff? I struggle with the heel this way but have gotten the heel with your help starting with the cuff. Thank you for all you do to help others.

I’m new to your channel and love your positive energy 🥰 I’ve been knitting 30 years this fall and yet only have made 3 pair socks in all that time 😵💫 Your videos make me want to be a sock knitter, but I like dk weight socks even tho I’m in hot Sacramento, CA like more cushion type socks. Grew up in Upper Michigan and use to warmer socks but last 22 years in CA wear short socks now. 🙂

For the shorty sock you showed, how many rounds are the cuff and leg part? I just made some shorties socks for my 13 year old daughter, and I think they are too short for her liking. (She still loves them), but I know she wanted it a bit longer. And your's seem the right size.
Where do I find the updated afterthought heel video?
Will those skeins of white yarn lead to Denise becoming a dyer?
