It was only my second time and planned to say hello to you and to so many other podcasters I really love but it was so crowded that it overwhelmed me and shy out of it quickly give up. I really love what you're saying. I recently went to a yarn festival and I wanted to go and say hi to some people in real life and I was thinking "What are they gonna think of me? Are they gonna find it annoying that I say a few words to them?" But yes, everyone is there to share their love of fiber and no one is superior to someone else. Let's stop thinking that we're gonna annoy people by greeting them and chatting a bit. They're not gonna go to a yarn festival if they absolutely don't wanna meet people, right? 😄

It's funny how you comment about how long your video was. I could listen to you for hours!!!!! Your tee matches your sock yarn colour way on my screen. Many thanks for sharing your Rhinebeck experiences with us. It reminded me of family reunions. take care from Canada. As a long time crocheter, I jump at the chance to knit anything 2-at-a-time cause it's not possible to do that in crocheting.
I have so many bags, because sometimes you need a special bag for special things. So one is strictly for a two color sock , one is for taking a car trip, some are for knitting on fishing trips, and the list goes on. Then of course there are those bags that you need just for those times when you fly. Sometimes I see a bag with s certain fabric pattern and voila, added to the collection. Do i need more bags, no. Do I want more bags absolutely! Sometimes bags are like yarn, I think of it as a rescue mission, providing a good home to those things that would otherwise be left behind.

You are right that we are all the same in this crazy knitting world. Unfortunately, I hate that all the wok cancel culture has invaded even this, but it’s everywhere, we can escape it. So, let’s knit!!❤ Funny you talked about knitting sleeves TAAT, I did the same thing! But, I had already knit a few inches of each sleeves, which were on a raglan sweater, not detached. I put them on a long cable and went to town! It was no more awkward than handling a bulky sweater knitting the sleeves. Sleeve island takes on a whole new meaning now. I think I try to do it from now on. BTW, I’ve only ever knit socks TAAT and use your shadow wrap heel.
New York was owned by the Dutch and what we call New England was owned by England, that’s why New York is not considered a part of New England. Although Upstate N.Y is just as beautiful.

I really love what you're saying. I recently went to a yarn festival and I wanted to go and say hi to some people in real life and I was thinking "What are they gonna think of me? Are they gonna find it annoying that I say a few words to them?" But yes, everyone is there to share their love of fiber and no one is superior to someone else. Let's stop thinking that we're gonna annoy people by greeting them and chatting a bit. They're not gonna go to a yarn festival if they absolutely don't wanna meet people, right? 😄

As a long time crocheter, I jump at the chance to knit anything 2-at-a-time cause it's not possible to do that in crocheting.
I have so many bags, because sometimes you need a special bag for special things. So one is strictly for a two color sock , one is for taking a car trip, some are for knitting on fishing trips, and the list goes on. Then of course there are those bags that you need just for those times when you fly. Sometimes I see a bag with s certain fabric pattern and voila, added to the collection. Do i need more bags, no. Do I want more bags absolutely! Sometimes bags are like yarn, I think of it as a rescue mission, providing a good home to those things that would otherwise be left behind.

You are right that we are all the same in this crazy knitting world. Unfortunately, I hate that all the wok cancel culture has invaded even this, but it’s everywhere, we can escape it. So, let’s knit!!❤ Funny you talked about knitting sleeves TAAT, I did the same thing! But, I had already knit a few inches of each sleeves, which were on a raglan sweater, not detached. I put them on a long cable and went to town! It was no more awkward than handling a bulky sweater knitting the sleeves. Sleeve island takes on a whole new meaning now. I think I try to do it from now on. BTW, I’ve only ever knit socks TAAT and use your shadow wrap heel.
New York was owned by the Dutch and what we call New England was owned by England, that’s why New York is not considered a part of New England. Although Upstate N.Y is just as beautiful.
