I'm guessing that I heard this concerto for the first time when I was around 10 years old, and that's 66 years ago, and I have continued to listen to Vivaldi ever since and this piece in particular has become one of my favorites. The music evokes being in a garden listening to the birds sing without any interruptions from man-made noises and that is so very relaxing for both body and soul. Great interpretation of a piece that on the surface seems simple but for those who know better, it's not that easy to play. Congratulations to Karolina and the entire ensemble for a job well done. They are all students and apart from some issues the performance, as I see It, it was pretty good. This concert is rather tricky. The First movement is not easy and nor is the third. The Second is pure music. The solist has got a very powerful sound! She's definitely going to be a great professional!

Je préfère, et de loin, le son de la flûte moderne à celui du traverso. Plus acidulé, plus sensuel, plus aérien, le baroque a tout à y gagner. Simple question de goût personnel. Belle interprétation et très belle réalisation qui nous fait profiter sans réserve des doigts de la flûtiste. 💐✨

Vivaldi composed 2 beautiful concertos here. The one with the flute and the background one with the violins are both magnificent.
