Beautiful piece, it deserves more views and likes.
Very well deserving.
Incredible piece of music.
This one comes highly recommended.
This is incredible.I don't see anyone out of High School yet.
Wspaniały Kompozytor i Jego arcydzieło muzyczne w fantastycznym wykonaniu Młodych Artystów!
Wanderful orchestra wanderful piece, wanderful girls and Boys playing...thu.
Wow, just wow! This is beautifull...
Greetings & Respect from the Netherlands.
A wonderfully talented youth orchestra playing a crowd favorite Bald Mountain.
I really appreciate this piece. I used to play first flute in the orchestar when we played this at Carnegie Hall. And just think, the person NOT PLAYING his instrument @6:01
could always give up his day job and double for a young Tom Cruise!
😂 true
Beautiful, puts me right on the scary night on the mountain, then sunrise and fear disappears
🎥 🏆 Everyone here commented on the music and the orchestra - and indeed this interpretation is beautiful - but even more remarkable to me is the video itself. The photography, the editing, and the sound… The setup and post production… What a beautiful piece of work! And just as I started to comment on it, I noticed this was the channel of an Academy of Film and Television. You guys are maestros. You deserve the same kudos as the orchestra. 👏
❤❤❤
Never forget this piece from when I was a child and it featured in Walt Disney's Fantasia, the animation that went with it was frightening for me, but I loved it.
Me too
No question that it was Disney that made this work so famous
@@paullewis2413 My dad told me the story then played the record, getting me to tell the story as described by the music. I hadn't seen Fantasia at that time, but later thought Disney got it about right: the monsters of the id come out to play, Between Halloween and [8:20] All Saints' Day.
I remember it well myself.
No words could describe the beauty of such a performance. Speechless ❤️
Absolutely beautiful cmposition and performance ♥️♥️♥️
Awwwweeeeeesome 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
One of the trumpet players sits there the whole time, doesn't play a note. The rest of the orchestra is fantastic. Absolutely beautiful.
Not every instrument is included on every piece i guess. There are more instruments that don't seem to be part of this one.
This is Proper! The brass section is manned well. Talented, professional group.
Wonderful...playing, and the music itself ! But for me it is the sunrise and fear disappearing part I find by far the most inspiring ! 🙏☀️
Oh, that music scared me a lot when I was a child, my mother used to heard novels at the radio, and one had that, as a courtain of the program
Lovely flutes sounds like heaven !! Bravo !!
10:49 one of the best solos of this piece ever
A wonderful work ably performed by the future world class classical musicians
so inspiring to see so many young people playing and listening to classical music. brilliant beginning of my day⭐
Super high level of playing. Fantastic flutes!
Just Wonderful! Thank you
Dobra robota ! DOBRA ROBOTA !!
Citizen Jimserac

Très belle interprétation pleine de fraîcheur !

Very evocative. You can really feel the tension and uncertainty throughout till the relief at the end. Thank you all,
Enthralling performance of a powerful musical composition. Bravo!
ALE SUPER TO ZAGRALIŚCIE !!!
I am spellbound by the exceptionally effective use of counterpoint in this masterpiece!
Absolutely magnificent. Flawless performance.
Very true!
Beautiful
It's really magic!
Woww awesome performance!
It's Halloween Eve, perfect piece of music.
Wonderful...
3rd oboe really beautiful playing!
Mais uma apresentação impecável
Wow this is amazing I wish I could play the violin like that
practice.
Dreams do come true. 🎻
I'm in agony and this is helping me deal with it! Thanks alot!
😭
Ohh hooe you.are feeling better by now
Have loved Bald Mountain forever!
first part really sounds like sth from Batman the animated series. Then it's the middle age! God I love this piece of music!!
Very nice
Good wonderful music.
Maravilloso!!!!!
Csodaszép előadás, gratulálok! :)
superbe. merci !
Qué maravilla!!!!!
Thanks to Bob James for introducing us to this classic. His interpretation of it doesn’t beer too far...
I've found what I was looking for.

Thank You
AMAZING MIRACLE
this peace reminds me of when u try to get a midnight snack and you see someone down stairs and u freak out and wake up your whole family
LOL!
LOVE the Flautists! 😊
PERFECTO EXTRAORDINARIO.
Magnificent
If Chernabog was one the audiences he will be proud of this band
Lol! 😂Too funny! But I bet he would!
Seriously
The dark lord will be pleased
Though it sounds terror music is terrific and tantalizing
11:45 It really pairs with the music well, the baby crying in the background. It's as if the miracle of birth is being rejoiced at the end the piece. Or it could be almost symbolizing the sense of rebirth into a new beginning, a new day, a new life to embark on the world. I don't know but it seems to be timed so well. You can hear the audience member's cough at certain points too. But this almost seemed meant to be. I used to be a performer myself and understand how frustrating it can be that you finally got to the end of the piece just to have the surrounding noise interupt or ruin the moment. Here though, I don't know, for me, it almost seemed...
Yes, it was on purpose, I don't know, but the coughing was a form of sabotage. If you listen to my original piano pieces recorded in the 18th century, you will realize that the attempt at sabotage is not recent, but it is a very beautiful thing to hear.
magifique representation
It always amazes me just how many beautiful young women there are in orchestras!
Kids with monsters under the bed know what the music describes, and what a difference dawn makes [8:15]: the music and the tale of All Hallows Eve draw from the same well. This is why it is popular, and no Fantasia would be complete without it.
"The baby has known the dragon intimately ever since he had an imagination. What the fairy tale provides for him is a St. George to kill the dragon." [G. K. Chesterton - Tremendous Trifles].
10:49 great solo congratulations :-) love it
Bien vu Kaan!
Magistral interpretación y excelente presentación
It was a *stormy* night on Bald Mountain!

Magnifique
Fredaunaturel - Frédéric Cotrone she is not playbacking. Loved her so much😍😍 who is shee?🤓
She played slight wrong note. Very slight. But connoisseurs heard it well :) But I just said that because of the girl close to her making a face. Except that, the whole orchestra plays well! (Except 2 people don't play!!! :)...)
@3:00 you can stitch in "One winged angel" perfectly on those notes for maximum evil
Fantasia!
0:36 The dark lord Chernabog awakens
1:21 Chernabog summons his minions from the gallows
1:50 Chernabog summons more of his minions from the moat
2:16 Chernabog summons more of his ghosts from the graveyard
3:22 The party begins as Chernabog throws several demon like creatures into a pit of hellfire
4:02 Chernabog makes dancing ladies from the flames and turns them into barn and then turns them into demonic creatures
5:57 The party is in full swing
8:23 The bell tolls and God says: “All right, that’s it, guys. Party’s over.”
8:45 The creatures of evil slink back into the darkness and the ghosts go back to their resting places.
10:12 The dark lord Chernabog finally goes to rest and becomes the peak once more.
10:50 Enter “Ave Maria”
Ici Paris.Salut Henryk !

Obra maestra.
We play this for our Halloween concert but ours is like 1000x easier and there are multiple easier versions and ours is the easiest but we're only in 7th grade lol
Same with a flute player. If you take note, all of the women are wearing red colored long skirts. The one flute player not playing doesn't have on a red skirt. My guess is that she and the trumpet player are new to the Orchestra and sat in on the concert as members but hadn't had the practice time.
Night on Bald Mountain 11:46 orchestra talks to crying baby 🙂
Easily the best version
For sure!
É a música que toca "no mundo do brino" aqueles trechos animados do Brino
2:16 😍
Russian music is the best!
Surely good music, but maybe not the best.
I I remember when it was on Chiller theater scared the heck out of me
Bernard Herrmann ?
David Shire brought me here.
I think he was strung out when he wrote it.
Then I knew the spanish tittle and realized what was about.
Classical music is when math becomes sound.
Nah... This has nothing to do with math. This is pure primal emotion. Though, baroque music can get a bit math-y at times.
@@toprak3479 that's not entyerly true but also not entyerly wrong.
It's true that music is pure emotion, but you also have to do math, so that the Single notes and single "trackparts" run synchronised
Not to imagine what would be without math and not being synchronised because of it.
@@lukespitzegg Are you talking about the sound engineering of an orchestra?
@@toprak3479 no I'm talking about making a composition. I meant that you have to Use math to sync basses, violins etc up.
I'm a Native german-speaker and i didn't know some of the vocabs, so i had to improvise.
Music predates math.
Russian five? Sounds like The Avengers.
ah yes, the theme of the devil of disney himself. chernabog
