Spider tour v really changed my game, knocked a couple strokes off. My putting was already pretty good. Very happy with how easy it is and comfortably it is to swing. I gave my odyssey rossie away, I'm a spider guy now.

Trotie the KBS CT Tour 120 putter shaft is awesome. I game it right now on a TM Splitback.
I second that recommendation mate,I replaced the stock shaft in my spider GT max with the matte black shaft and it looks soo much more cleaner and better and feels so much better

I just was fitted into a spider tour from a hand me down ping anser. The pace control with the Spyder was worlds better than with the blade Ping Anser. I really thought i was going to fit into another blade putter.
On 20+ foot putts, i was able to start it and keep it online and get it within 2.5 feet of the hole.

What’s the major difference between tour model and $100 cheaper spider?

I just want to see that custom "Tour X SS Proto" Spider that Scottie Scheffler was using a few months ago to come out for the general public. Milled faces are just so much nicer than inserts, but every time I've used a Spider putter I've loved how well they align.
Who knows it might make it? Inserts are quality, BUT with that said as long as there's grooves I'll accept a milled face. Grooves are essential for me, I've seen too much good stuff to not be into the groove life

One thing I never understood is why TaylorMade hasn't tried to make a "Spider" blade putter. Would be very interesting to see if something with the Spyder flare was in a blade form could be done.

Hi Trottie, honest opinion - If it’s looked after how does the paint hold up?
I really fancy the spider T3 but don’t want to drop £300 on a new putter for it to look scruffy in 18 months because of chipped paint
I’m 99% sure TaylorMade have modified the process. Maybe give them a call but the finish doesn’t look the same on this one. Meaning I don’t think it’s painted

Is the finish a hydroblast finish or is it a paint job? All painted spiders had terrible paint jobs that would chip just by even looking at them. $350 for a putter you expect the finish to be premium and that will be a big factor in deciding if I buy.
I know they've adjusted the finish to cater for that issue
hey trottie, how good are those zenergy pt 2.0 grips? - I'm suprised TM didn't add those grips to their new line of putters since they're in high demand.

i always hear about getting fitted for a putter or driver, etc, I live a little north of San Fran,CA and i can't find a fitter that looks legit. not as easy as it sounds.
