I just was fitted into a spider tour from a hand me down ping anser. The pace control with the Spyder was worlds better than with the blade Ping Anser. I really thought i was going to fit into another blade putter. On 20+ foot putts, i was able to start it and keep it online and get it within 2.5 feet of the hole.
Spider tour v really changed my game, knocked a couple strokes off. My putting was already pretty good. Very happy with how easy it is and comfortably it is to swing. I gave my odyssey rossie away, I'm a spider guy now.
I second that recommendation mate,I replaced the stock shaft in my spider GT max with the matte black shaft and it looks soo much more cleaner and better and feels so much better
I just want to see that custom "Tour X SS Proto" Spider that Scottie Scheffler was using a few months ago to come out for the general public. Milled faces are just so much nicer than inserts, but every time I've used a Spider putter I've loved how well they align.
Who knows it might make it? Inserts are quality, BUT with that said as long as there's grooves I'll accept a milled face. Grooves are essential for me, I've seen too much good stuff to not be into the groove life
Hi trottie I have recently just purchased a TaylorMade MySpider tour putter with the short slant hosel in 35.5 inches and I believe the head weight for that is 355 grams and If I take the stock 1 gram weights out will that make the headweight 353 grams or is the headweight 355 grams without the weights in?the reason I am asking is I want to change the weights and add heavier weights and want to make sure that I’m doing it correctly that’s all
One thing I never understood is why TaylorMade hasn't tried to make a "Spider" blade putter. Would be very interesting to see if something with the Spyder flare was in a blade form could be done. We have TP SOTO - DEL MONTE - TP RESRVE LINE - Spyder Line from Taylor Made. Seems like something has to give right?
@@trottiegolfAwesome. Regarding the spider tour S , 38 inch counter balance putter (coming out 2024)--how heavy that head, and option to get aluminum insert????
Is the finish a hydroblast finish or is it a paint job? All painted spiders had terrible paint jobs that would chip just by even looking at them. $350 for a putter you expect the finish to be premium and that will be a big factor in deciding if I buy.
i always hear about getting fitted for a putter or driver, etc, I live a little north of San Fran,CA and i can't find a fitter that looks legit. not as easy as it sounds.
Hi Trottie, honest opinion - If it’s looked after how does the paint hold up? I really fancy the spider T3 but don’t want to drop £300 on a new putter for it to look scruffy in 18 months because of chipped paint
I’m 99% sure TaylorMade have modified the process. Maybe give them a call but the finish doesn’t look the same on this one. Meaning I don’t think it’s painted
hey trottie, how good are those zenergy pt 2.0 grips? - I'm suprised TM didn't add those grips to their new line of putters since they're in high demand.
🤣 • to be fair I’m not sure even I agree with that comment if looking through my worst possible heavily critical lens of myself…. But I’ll take it onboard • new product , with some cool features & tech that needs explaining. That kinda was the purpose of the vid 👍🏻
Man you just flow and nailed this review and info on all the range - thank you
Great video! And good job Marqos on the editing and video quality!!! Let’s go #teamtaylormade 👊🏼
Ive the spider tour sx32 in midnight blue, wouldn't change it for the world!
Guy literally has the best job for an equipment junkie, and smashes it every time. Great salesman
Great video
Love the breakdown of the Spider putter line and practice tips. I am all about the practice.
Thank you Trottie

Trotie the KBS CT Tour 120 putter shaft is awesome. I game it right now on a TM Splitback.

They all look freaking awesome 😍 leaning towards the tour or the X
McIlroy style 😎
Love my Spider. Maybe I’ll have to update!!!

I have seen them on eBay. 🤑🤑🤑
Can Taylor made make a larger cup, preferably bucket size, so my putts start going in?
I'll speak to R&D
Does the paint still chip very very quick
New model, new paint solution from what I've been told
Any truss models or center shafts?
Great video Trottie. I have the hydroblast spider (same as Rors). I love the true path alignment
Top Man - thx
What’s the major difference between tour model and $100 cheaper spider?
whats the difference between the double bend and the single bend seen on the older spiders? The website says they are both face balanced
Yeah…. We need to Address the Paint quality first 🤣
I still have a Tour Black in Mint condition as I have Babied it.
I believe it's fixed
Thanks for the review. Did you mean the CG was furthest back in the X model?
Tour is the deepest. The OG Jason Day one (I think they call that Tour these days)

answered in other video. 2 comment guy, I like it
Went away from my spider x and regret it since 😅
Me too. Gave it to a young female golfer. She won her next three competitions…..
They only went back with the spider because of the jailbird
I want this! I just got my GTX last month ):
Any talk of bringing back the actual original OG Spider size (Monza)?
Not at this time or that I know of

Rosie won the 2013 US Open with the Spider Blade. Dive on Google and check it out. Counter Balance, contrasting finish & a major to its name

Tour Z please.....
It's nice of Toulon to let you come back out with the Spyder Tour.
Any chance we'll see milled Spiders at some point? Love my Spider X but not a fan of the insert.
maybe at some point. As long as there's grooves I'm into it
Hey trottie are these gonna be available in the uk?
Also what do u think about the Taylormade performance lab in wentworth uk
I think the performance lab is solid & yes these will come to the UK
Yo Trott - Love the Spiders but need a plumbers neck. One coming out?
Not that I know of, maybe on the ol My Spider program, you know how you can knock stuff up on there
Which of the new models is closest to the spider gt ?
hmmmm good question I'd say Tour Z
need to be able to scoop the ball up with the back side of the putter....
Not if you make it 🤣
well played lol 🤯@@trottiegolf
Will it come in 35 inches? I only see one option length for all models.
I believe it does. Does into the Specifications part of the web page it's always in that tab
www.taylormadegolf.com/Spider-Tour/DW-TC844.html?lang=en_US
You can select length here mate

I know they've adjusted the finish to cater for that issue

I hear ya. Give TM a call I'm sure they have someone they can hook you up with
Are you sure that’s right? More toe hang keeps the face open longer so better for left misses
No GTR grip ? That grip is $$$
lol great salesman
The best 🤣 - Putters are good too though fella
Will you be adding it to the bag?
Nah because I'm using an armlock still. I would as I couldn't miss during the vid but I'm kinda digging this Del Monte Armlock at the mo

Cg, Cg, C, Cg, Cg, NO Sw, Sw, Sw, Sw, Sw as usual.

Yea dunno on that one but they look sick
I don't' care about your new putters, teach us how to putt.
🤣 I can add something in as a refresher for sure 👍
So much talking, not any insights
