When i click the xbox icon, it keeps taking me to 'cloud gaming'. I just want it to load up regular console homescreen. Similar to how it does if i click the ps5 icon. How do i adjust this so rhat when i click the Xbox icon, it opens the xbox source, rather than cloud?

@@iDTecKt Stadia pretty much nailed it. Always was able to play in 4k 5.1 DTS and no lag. Sucks that they shut down.

Hi! Yes it should work for the PS5. When it detects a console, it will appear in the gaming hub alongside the other apps as an input and will work with all the gaming features same as an Xbox would 👍🏻

You introduce it as Convenient and Easy to Use. Yet I'm on here looking for a way to Disable it as it's the opposite of those things. I used to be able to just add the xbox app to my....Apps and click right on it. Now I have to navigate to whatever they are selling and click it. If they allowed you the same option of adding the "APP" to your "APP LIST" Then I would find that...Convenient and Easy to Use...Like IT USED TO BE!!!!

If you're using a normal headset, you will face issues. Highly recommend xbox headphone and wireless controller stick. Buy these two, so you don't face issues.

I believe it only supports wireless videogame controllers. There is a full list on the website but from everything I've read, I've not yet seen anyone play this with a keyboard and mouse sadly.

I've been trying to figure out samsung game hub on my q70a and it's been so glitchy I can barely go through the menus. I figure it's a new service so they'll be some bugs but it's un-usable at the moment...anyone else have this issue?
I had to return my first q70a and just received the new one and it doesn't have this game hub like the other one had 😐😒
@2d vibes I found out what the issue was. I was connecting a controller that was not compatible with the gaming hub making it glitch. Man I'm sorry to hear that I would be pissed. Hope you were able to change it.

Is this only for Xbox and not PlayStation?
Playstation cloud gaming is only on PlayStation Plus which is console exclusive. It's not multi-platform like Game Pass.

You can play with a wired controller now @evo gaming or use a wireless controller if you like

I have a Wi-Fi network with a speed of 1000 MB, and I have an Internet cable. When I connect the Internet cable to the TV, it does not support more than 100 MB. I have an Xbox subscription. I cannot play in high quality. My Samsung TV is 2023.
So i may have to switch from PlayStation to xbox...i dont have either but i was going to get a PlayStation...i have a 80inch samsung smart tv so maybe ill save some money and just get an xbox controller
I would never ditch a console for cloud gaming unless consoles stop producing anymore. Not everyone have strong internet/wifi in their homes. I wouldn't even pay any subscription for anything regarding cloud gaming unless I know I have a strong wifi signal. Even if I do the lag and wait time seems horrible. I wouldn't recommend this "gaming hub" to anyone unless you want to throw money away for fun.

I believe so! I linked my steam account and was able to play games though I think it was through Nvidia Geforce but I didn't pay for a subscription there

No, you don't need a console to use the apps within the gaming hub. You just need a subscription or membership to the service you want to use like having Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to use the Xbox App and a wireless controller 👍 Don't forget, as the games are streamed through the cloud you'll need a really strong, consistent internet connection.

I think Xbox game pass is integrated with Stadia.
I use the MOGA xbox pad. works well BUT samsung gaming gub doesnt have steamlink. kinda garbage.

The icon on the main hub in the video was just an ad unfortunately. You could potentially play it through Nvidia GeForce if you purchase it through steam though

Hi! I'm not sure you can disable the hub itself as it's just a new in built menu option.

@@iDTecKt After i made an upgrade the xbox app appeared directly as one of my sources in the menu (beside my firestick, blu ray player etc.) I'm not sure why... Maybe because I have an Xbox serie s connected to the TV.
I'm on a Samsung 4k 55inch anyone no why the picture is bad when trying to stream games. Lags alot too 😢
I feel this is something Xbox is working on improving as they are still in Beta for cloud streaming games. But even with my Superfast Fibre broadband, the games often lag or drop out in quality depending on the time of day. Hopefully it will imporve in the next few years

If you make an Xbox account and sign up to Xbox Game Pass monthly subscription, you can play any of the games on the Xbox app on the TV through cloud streaming. You won't own any of the games, you will just pay for the subscription to play them and you won't need to own a console as you play the games through your internet connection.
@BoxCoUk I have an xbox Microsoft account from when I had my xbox 1 I sold it about a year ago. I still have a wireless controller though. So guess I just need a subscription to stream. What are the graphics like, just as good?
