Thanks buddy for this video. I returned my Samsung AU7020 i bought on Amazon and just ordered the Samsung QN90C 55" just to have the game hub feature and the 120hz refresh rate.
Hehe good stuff, I bit the bullet and updated my firmware. Few things I noticed, I couldn't pull up the game bar to tweak my settings, not sure if you tried? Yeah the image quality could be better- I tried BDO before I came to work and the lag was noticable and the image wasn't great. Oh and I couldnt just switch between the streaming to the xbox without a lot of faffing around, turned the tv off in the end as the troller stayed connected to streaming even after i unpaired it and tried to go normal xsx. Unless it's just me lol. But hey it works and that's the main thing, it's there and up and running and hopefully over time it will just get better eh. Thanks as always for the vid....enjoy!!
I didn’t have those exact experiences, but I’m sure it will vary for all of us. I have Gigabit Fiber internet and I’m on Ethernet whereas I know most people use WiFi, so that could have affected the image quality? I have to do more testing when I get back in town next week. Did you see the feedback options after you exit a game? Please check whatever boxes that apply and leave the notes. They are looking at all of this to address asap.

I'll see what non competitive games are like when I get home, had to get ready for work so I'll pay attention to the feedback stuff. Does the gaming hub support smooth 4K gaming? I have an introductory Samsung 4k TV in my kitchen that I want to replace in the coming years. Maybe I should get another Samsung because no other TV has the built in game streaming apps yet that I’m aware?
You would need to have a subscription to whatever gaming service you want to play on….having this Gaming Hub eliminates the need to have a console device to play on.

Hey! No you can’t, it will ask you to sign up or log in for each respective gaming platform. This does save you the need to have the actual console for these platforms for the most part though, and you can use the same Bluetooth controller of your choice for all of the gaming platforms available.

However, dumb me got the xbox game pass instead of the PlayStation plus subscription. I say dumb because I have bought a ps4 dual-shock controller specially for this and was in the illusion the buttons and controls would automatically adapt to the PS controller in the game, but turns out its not. I now see XBOX controls in the game and in the tutorials, and have to figure out which button on the PlayStation controller correspondents with the xbox buttons like A X Y B etc. I am not a huge gamer so classic newby mistakes here I guess. Will terminate the xbox game pass and get on with the playstation plus subscription soon lol.
It should be on your TV. Have you updated the firmware to the latest version? That could be the only reason why it's not showing up, but it's supposed to be on all 2023 Samsung Smart TV models.

Hi John! It automatically showed up in my Game Hub on my S95B. I believe it also has something to do with the PlayStation subscription service they have, but your TV should automatically pick up on it if your PS5 stays connected to your TV.
Hey! I haven't personally tested it on mine, but I have seen it on another and it works just as well as Game Pass. If you have Steam, I'd definitely run it on this tv.
Hey Anthony! Yeah, unfortunately they aren’t in the Gaming Hub, at least not now, but it’s not surprising as Nintendo is behind the times in that department. For now, we have to access the Switch separately outside the Hub

For right now, they only have it available on their 2022 models, but it should be expanded at a later date to some other recent year models as well as other brands will get Xbox Gaming Pass (not the entire Gaming Hub like on Samsung). They didn’t say exactly when, but it should most likely be coming at a later date.

@@JonasJerner Overall, for right now, I’d say the console is still better, but this is only because of a few things that is limited in this beta version of Gaming Hub. I believe once the official version is released, those small things won’t matter. I will say it’s not a big enough deal to have to buy a console at this point (let alone the expense and space savings lost) just on the gaming side unless you’re an extreme gamer who pushes and uses the Xbox to the max (an extremely rare situation).
It actually only fits in the folded mode. It will fit the previous Note phones and the S22, but not when the Z Fold 3 is opened up. I have other phone holders and etc that I do sit my phone in/on when playing on opened mode. I believe there is a mount clip that does fit it and the controller, I just can't remember the name of it.
Currently, you have to have any 2022 Samsung TV, and a few 2022 Samsung Gaming Monitors does have it/will have it. At some point in the near future, they are going to offer support to 2021 Samsung TVs as well.

I’m not actually sure. I could subscribe to GeoForce now and Google Stadia as I have some free trials for both, but I’m not sure what it will run for both without actually trying. I suspect it will be 1080p will on the Beta just like Xbox Game Pass, and then they will boost it to 4K once the actual Official Game Hub is ready (probably in a firmware update).
The 1302 update has to be automatically pushed to your tv as it was never officially released on their website, meaning there’s no USB option or anything to manually install it. It’s been randomly getting pushed to owners as not all owners received it yet. If you want it, I’d turn on auto-updates just in case, but once the update is pushed and installed on your TV, Game Hub will automatically appear. You may have to power cycle your TV if it doesn’t right then.
@@jesusalberto3145 I’m not wrong lol. Regarding 2022 TV Models, you have to have at least 1302 to receive Gaming Hub. 1211.2 and lower won’t receive it. If you’re on a higher/newer firmware version, in your case 1304, you would automatically have it, but most people haven’t updated from 1211.2 yet. I've been trying to figure out samsung game hub on my q70a and it's been so glitchy I can barely go through the menus. I figure it's a new service so they'll be some bugs but it's un-usable at the moment...anyone else have this issue?
Hi Mike! It must be glitchy to the Q70A as I haven’t heard of anyone else having these types of issues with game hub on other models. It could be because the Q70A is a 2021 model, and perhaps Game Hub is primarily for 2022 and newer model TVs though support works on 2021 models?

The games are free with the membership to the respective platforms. You would need to have these memberships to even play on console. You can’t play most PlayStation games without a plus membership, just as you can’t play Xbox games without a Game Pass membership. Having the membership requires no console to play them which is a HUGE expense saver amongst other things.
It’s perfect idea to have tv and games in one place never get bored 😊👍

To be fair you are in low latency mode. There is a Mode called to AI upscaling which makes it a lot closer to console quality

Wait you can make the zfold 3 fit on the controller arm, I didn't think they could fit so I passed on it D:
