This was me three months ago. I'm over 300lbs. I started in November doing 5 min 2x/week. Now I'm doing 15 min workouts 4x/week. Don't give up you can do it! My clothes are fitting better. I feel more energy. I'm sleeping better. I have better moods. It's so worth it. Don't worry about being perfect. I'm not doing this perfectly. I'm just being consistent. You got this! Hey to everyone who made it through this workout I finished the whole workout Yayy I’m 15 and I started grow with Jo when I was 196 closed to 200 and 3 months of being consistent I now weigh 166 so you guys can do it good luck.
Good job! I am 15 as well but I have one difference, I weigh a LOT more than what you ( not hate at all!) I started at 439 and after 1 good month of doing these exercises and eating somewhat healthy I lost 9lbs, so I'm 430 right now. My biggest tip tho with trying to lose weight is don't restrict yourself from eating. I know I'm one to talk but I have binge eating disorder, and I've been overweight since I was 5 I've been on literally every single diet there is. The only thing that ever really helped me was intuitive eating and to not restrict myself. I believe that it was okay for me to go 8 sometimes 10 hours without eating anything so then I could eat something unhealthy like cake or ice cream, which isn't true. Intuitive eating really helped because I could still eat the foods I love ( I absolutely loved fruits and veggies since I was a baby i know shocking lol ) and I actually felt full for once which was a huge thing for me I never felt that, intuitive eating is just eating when you feel hungry and stopping when you feel full. It sounds so simple but believe me it helps. Restricting honestly just hurts you because, you eat less you don't eat your favorite foods because their too " unhealthy " but than you just cave in to that hunger and next thing you know your binge eating, which if your trying to lose weight is the opposite thing you want to do.

Started at 208 and am currently at 200 lbs in just one month! I’ve only incorporated a few changes into my diet and making sure I get some physical activity and these videos and comment section have really been motivating me. In case someone is like me: I’ve been really out of shape/gained a lot of weight this past year and I was motivated recently to start working out. I first dived into Jo’s 45 minute walks, but I had trouble keeping up. After being kind to myself and remembering that it’s okay to start slower and work my way up, I started this workout 3 days ago. I struggled to get through the first day a lot, but I made it to the end. Then it started to get easier. I just finished the 3rd day and I didn’t struggle much at all (that does not mean I wasn’t covered in sweat and sore by the end 😆) I must say I look forward to working out after dinner, which I never thought I’d say. I also have not been snacking after dinner (which I had a bad habit of). I do this workout and end the night with decaf green tea w/ Apple Cider Vinegar. I’ve felt much better and eventually I will work up to the longer, more intense workouts. I say all that to say if there’s anyone out there like me, it’s totally okay to start small and build up. Jo’s workouts are the only workouts I’ve ever looked forward to and that I can actually get through. I’m looking forward to continuing this journey. Thank you so much Jo and everyone in the comments! Just finished doing this workout, I didn’t do as intensely but I did my best, I’m 23 yo and I’m 73 kgs right now and I haven’t moved my body in months and I cried the whole time while doing this because for the first time in months I kinda felt good so thank you ❤️
I’m 300lbs and I managed to go this whole workout! This was amazing, easy moves but I am breaking a sweat for real. No noise, just great as I live in an apartment. one thing, i used to work out every day and recently hit such a depression pit. but i got emotional after finishing this. if you’re just getting back to it or just starting up, you’re not alone and you deserve to feel good. a little is better than nothing, and even this little makes you sweat A LOT. 💕

I’ve been doing your workouts, 3x to 4x a week, for 4 weeks now in beginner videos. It the beginning, today was my first intermediate workout and going for 4x-5x a week. I feel happier than ever, it’s just the beginning of a long and steady journey. I started doing this workouts in my small restroom in fear of what people would think, I bought myself my first workout mat and I’m now in my bedroom with more space, i plan to buy weights in the future to help my body keep up with the weight that’s coming off. Completed today! I've fallen out of my routine with Helene causing so much damage her in the south and no Internet cell service spotty. Hi Jo I'm not sure if this is motivation enough, but I have been training with you for atleast 3 weeks now and I am so amazed with my results. I just want to thank you so much for all the inspiration and motivation... I reached a point in my life that I was completely miserable and didn't even want to look at myself in the mirror because I did not recognize who was starring back at me. I am now fresh, flexible and energetic couldn't be more happy. Your work outs not only show results but are super fun and that's what keeps me coming back. I would add results but I'm not sure how.
I've been doing my home workouts with this channel on and off for a year. I lost motivation because of depression and got to a weight where I was no longer happy. Out of all the workout channels on youtube, growwithjo is my absolute favorite because Jo is authentically herself and she's not afraid to talk about the difficult stuff especially with motherhood. She keeps a smile throughout the workout and gives words of motivation to keep you going. I am now two weeks into these workouts and have lost 10 pounds. This video is fun and I have found ways to incorporate other steps when my right knee acts like a bugger and stabs me with pain. Thanks so much for making these workouts. I am so thankful to you, Jo, for these workouts. I've always enjoyed working out, but when the pandemic hit I fell into a dark place. I gained about 25lbs and developed terrible eating habits. RUclips must have sensed my struggle and started showing me workout channels liked yours 😊 I had a switch flip in my head, and on May 1, 2021 I started eating healthy and working out regularly. I, the girl that all my life had a big belly, am so thankful to you. I literally despised people who worked out because I thought the idea behind skinny= beautiful that I supposed they promoted was awful. I never understood those who liked to work out maybe because i hate being sweaty and never looked beyond that. I just finished this workout and feel sooo relieved and energized. I workout everyday, because it helps keep my energy up, my mood up and helps alleviate stress. I am always in search of new workouts and found this one today. I really loved the upbeat music, it kept me motivated the whole time, there was no on the ground mat work that is difficult for my back, and no equipment. I am putting this one in my rotation!
I still had energy after 30 minutes of ab workouts so i tried this and it was very fun, motivating, and definitely helps with bloating! I 100% recommend this.

Never ever ever ever ever did I think I’d come this far!!!! I finished it again. I literally am dripping down in sweat!!!! I’ve been doing these workouts for about a month and I’m stronger and more confident than ever!!! I’m doing this week challenge. Today is day 2, and I’m killing it. I recently started a new job at another child care center and recently my schedule has changed. I work from 10am-6pm where as before I used to work from 12:30pm-6pm. I stumbled upon your channel trying to decide if I should get up earlier to get a workout like I would always do or if I should switch and do a workout at night. Good job! I am 15 as well but I have one difference, I weigh a LOT more than what you ( not hate at all!) I started at 439 and after 1 good month of doing these exercises and eating somewhat healthy I lost 9lbs, so I'm 430 right now. My biggest tip tho with trying to lose weight is don't restrict yourself from eating. I know I'm one to talk but I have binge eating disorder, and I've been overweight since I was 5 I've been on literally every single diet there is. The only thing that ever really helped me was intuitive eating and to not restrict myself. I believe that it was okay for me to go 8 sometimes 10 hours without eating anything so then I could eat something unhealthy like cake or ice cream, which isn't true. Intuitive eating really helped because I could still eat the foods I love ( I absolutely loved fruits and veggies since I was a baby i know shocking lol ) and I actually felt full for once which was a huge thing for me I never felt that, intuitive eating is just eating when you feel hungry and stopping when you feel full. It sounds so simple but believe me it helps. Restricting honestly just hurts you because, you eat less you don't eat your favorite foods because their too " unhealthy " but than you just cave in to that hunger and next thing you know your binge eating, which if your trying to lose weight is the opposite thing you want to do.

Once again COMPLETED! I love this workout the more I do it! Jo I am down to 143! 4 more pounds til I am in my 130’s! Can YOU BELIEVE IT! 6 months ago I was stuck at 160 and kept telling you I can’t wait til I hit the 150’s I way passed it girl! If I can do it guys you can too! I was 193.5lbs at 5’6! Developed diabetes type 2, High Cholesterol and high Triglycerides. Was in danger of HEART DISEASE, they were worried because I have a whole in my heart! Jo changed my life! In case someone is like me: I’ve been really out of shape/gained a lot of weight this past year and I was motivated recently to start working out. I first dived into Jo’s 45 minute walks, but I had trouble keeping up. After being kind to myself and remembering that it’s okay to start slower and work my way up, I started this workout 3 days ago. I struggled to get through the first day a lot, but I made it to the end. Then it started to get easier. I just finished the 3rd day and I didn’t struggle much at all (that does not mean I wasn’t covered in sweat and sore by the end 😆) I must say I look forward to working out after dinner, which I never thought I’d say. I also have not been snacking after dinner (which I had a bad habit of). I do this workout and end the night with decaf green tea w/ Apple Cider Vinegar. I’ve felt much better and eventually I will work up to the longer, more intense workouts. I say all that to say if there’s anyone out there like me, it’s totally okay to start small and build up. Jo’s workouts are the only workouts I’ve ever looked forward to and that I can actually get through. I’m looking forward to continuing this journey. Thank you so much Jo and everyone in the comments! Words cannot describe how much you’ve helped me.

Just finished doing this workout, I didn’t do as intensely but I did my best, I’m 23 yo and I’m 73 kgs right now and I haven’t moved my body in months and I cried the whole time while doing this because for the first time in months I kinda felt good so thank you ❤️

I’m 300lbs and I managed to go this whole workout! This was amazing, easy moves but I am breaking a sweat for real. No noise, just great as I live in an apartment. Love her energy throughout and so nice to see when she misses a step. Makes it so much more personable and makes me feel better for messing up too 🧡😍

one thing, i used to work out every day and recently hit such a depression pit. but i got emotional after finishing this. if you’re just getting back to it or just starting up, you’re not alone and you deserve to feel good. a little is better than nothing, and even this little makes you sweat A LOT. 💕

I’ve been doing your workouts, 3x to 4x a week, for 4 weeks now in beginner videos. It the beginning, today was my first intermediate workout and going for 4x-5x a week. I feel happier than ever, it’s just the beginning of a long and steady journey.

Hi Jo I'm not sure if this is motivation enough, but I have been training with you for atleast 3 weeks now and I am so amazed with my results. I just want to thank you so much for all the inspiration and motivation... I reached a point in my life that I was completely miserable and didn't even want to look at myself in the mirror because I did not recognize who was starring back at me. I am now fresh, flexible and energetic couldn't be more happy. Your work outs not only show results but are super fun and that's what keeps me coming back. I would add results but I'm not sure how.
I've been doing my home workouts with this channel on and off for a year. I lost motivation because of depression and got to a weight where I was no longer happy. Out of all the workout channels on youtube, growwithjo is my absolute favorite because Jo is authentically herself and she's not afraid to talk about the difficult stuff especially with motherhood. She keeps a smile throughout the workout and gives words of motivation to keep you going. I am now two weeks into these workouts and have lost 10 pounds. Hi Jo. I just started this video a week ago. I am very out of shape, but I made it to the 24 minute mark for the first time in 7 days. This video is fun and I have found ways to incorporate other steps when my right knee acts like a bugger and stabs me with pain. Thanks so much for making these workouts. I am so thankful to you, Jo, for these workouts. I've always enjoyed working out, but when the pandemic hit I fell into a dark place. I gained about 25lbs and developed terrible eating habits. RUclips must have sensed my struggle and started showing me workout channels liked yours 😊 I had a switch flip in my head, and on May 1, 2021 I started eating healthy and working out regularly. I, the girl that all my life had a big belly, am so thankful to you. I literally despised people who worked out because I thought the idea behind skinny= beautiful that I supposed they promoted was awful. I never understood those who liked to work out maybe because i hate being sweaty and never looked beyond that. I just finished this workout and feel sooo relieved and energized. I workout everyday, because it helps keep my energy up, my mood up and helps alleviate stress. I am always in search of new workouts and found this one today. I really loved the upbeat music, it kept me motivated the whole time, there was no on the ground mat work that is difficult for my back, and no equipment. I am putting this one in my rotation!
I still had energy after 30 minutes of ab workouts so i tried this and it was very fun, motivating, and definitely helps with bloating! I 100% recommend this.

I recently started a new job at another child care center and recently my schedule has changed. I work from 10am-6pm where as before I used to work from 12:30pm-6pm. I stumbled upon your channel trying to decide if I should get up earlier to get a workout like I would always do or if I should switch and do a workout at night. I’m probably going to give this a try tomorrow night.

This has become part of my weekly routine. I found your channel almost a year ago and have tried a number of your workouts they are all amazing! This one is one of my favs I try to do it a few times a week. It's fun, not too long to get through and of course dripping with sweat by the end love it!
I loved every minute of this exercise. I was feeling really tired and bloated from not eating well today. And this exercise and your energy made me feel so good. Amazing stuff as always. And Bentley is the cutest!!! 😍

Today was my first day of working out in over a year. I love this workout. I was able to do all of it! And most of it without any modifications. Thank you for making workouts that are accessible to those of us with a light more fluff and a little less flexibility.
