My fishing buddy & I caught 13 bass today, "2/28/24" biggest 5 weighed just over 20 lbs, in the Neuse River, fishing out of a 14' jon boat powered by a 9.9 Johnson without FFS & sonar
Damn man good job just left there. Don’t fish tournaments just fish weekends you have any tips? I can count on 3 figured the amount of bass I caught there. Trying to catch some with my 10 year old to get him into it.
Hey Tim, fishing the ledge along the hot ditch in pool 1 is a popular area and known to have a large quantity of bass. Drag finesse baits, Carolina rig, or big swim baits.
Understandable. Utilizing side imaging and targeting the top of ledges containing stumps would work as well. Drag a Texas Rig, Drop Shot, or big swimbait.
I've fished a few tournaments on Sutton, The lake doesn't fish bad at all. I will warn you, The driveway to the lake is about a 3/4 mile gravel road. Leaves your boat DIRTY. plan to wash it extra when you get home. And also the lake is insanely shallow, I personally idle across the whole lake, There's a stump with a lower unit wedged into it. It isn't a big lake so idling is not a huge inconvenience.

Great footage. I've fished Sutton several times and did very well. Like it another better than Shron Harris hahaha! Keep catching em on tight lines.
