I don't dout you know your stuff, but I saw someone show the chassis was different that the fire team. Side by side the big rock one seemed much more narrow. Curious how that was so. Only saw on camera not in person. Any thoughts.
I'm using a Mojave M2C chassis but the Fireteam is the same length and nearly identical as far as i know. Yes I should have just said Mojave chassis to not cause confusion.
Hmmm. Will look into part numbers. I know I will want a chassis soon but want to make sure it's not different than stock. Want it to be like the big rock. Did they make new m2c stickers because of you. M2c tough is what they say now. Love it.

Was explained to me by a Hobby shop employee (who's good with math like Holmes Hobbies, John Holmes is) explained to me that the 6th scale stuff is starved of volts and it creates resistance in the form of heat. I just keep the punch at level 3 where it accelerates in the safe zone for the drivetrain. That, with M2C driveshafts and outdrives...it takes it all day with properly shimmed ring and pinions. You'd do well with Hobbystar's 1100kv 4092 on 8s, and the 1480kv can also do 8s. I have a 1250kv Surpass, and it's unbelievably cool on 8s. The Max 6 barely gets any warmth.
You don't have to upgrade it. I'm sure the stock big rock 6s would be fine for most people. But yes, if you choose to bash like this, then plan on spending some money.
