Well done, Eric, that was a serious maiden run on that truck. And that roof landing... Just watching it rotate inverted knowing there's nothing you could do hurt me deep inside. LoL. But, it took it like a champ. Very minor damage considering the size and weight of the truck. That body bracing did its job. Well done ARRMA. 👏👏 As always, a pleasure to watch you rip a new RC and showing us what it has to offer. 😎👍Bravo, sir.
Imo it’s a scam. The motor is just not up to the task. I was overheating the v1 spektrum system on the typhon ffs. What they should’ve done, especially at this price, is use the 4985 k8 v1 motor and probably rebadge the v1 8s esc as a v2 6s esc.
@@dylanwhite6539 definitely could benefit from more power im sure. I will say Arrma has some of the better rtr electronics out there but over time they all need some aftermarket magic
@@StevenYDG69 I do agree what the motors, servos and radio gear are actually pretty good. IMO they’re a bit undersized for the weight class but they’re still good motors. Escs though, they run HOT. I’ve got a spektrum 6s v1 esc on 3s because I didn’t like how it was performing on 4s.

That is a beauty you have. Awesome first run it seems to be quick with the electronics, thanks for showing the first rip with the standard pinion gear and then how mad it is with the high speed pinion gear. It flies very level and seems very controllable with the punch setting up to 9. That roof landing when the pinion came off 😩😩I had a deep pit in my gut, but to find out that it survived. that body cage system is on point. Thanks for sharing and showing how durable the ne Big Rock 6s is. IT"S A BEAST!!!!!!💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯👍

That thing pulls!!! Ever since Aarma introduced the Infraction & i got 1 for myself, i never yet went back to Traxxas. The durability & efficiency & user friendly made Aarma my go toooo!! .....i still do love my Redcat MT8E-BE6S!!!!
drove my granite 365 days , every part changed atleast once except the diffs , I mean eventually I may wore the gear but like I said over 3oo cycles , than I use brcc and yea sure I I’m going have do diff for 2nd time 😂 now tbf I did put 4s esc and 17 mm extended wheels and that’s probably all the difference, my dumb a… bought the 4s Mojave yesterday knowing this was coming next week and have feeling be this week , problem is I destroy rc like Eric and it’s different for us , I have 4 5 arrmas I’ll do this , if I get this brcc I going keep away from dirt like the rich guys 😂 , my 3s brcc sat on shelf for two years I use it delicately and for parts keep granite going , I had a good system with the easy pay id pay 100 -200 a month and have new rc every two three🎉 months than doing this was affordable it takes a lot time keep up with maintenance multiple rigs trucks looks month old of hard driving but he’s pushing to limits where m2racing can pick up the slack 😂

Absolustely love the Arrma 1/7th scale rigs. The Big Rock is going to be a very popular RC. Took a good beating and the bodyshell is proper reinforced...and very good looking!!! Arrma hit it outa the park again. Suspesion tuning out of the box looks really well thought out too...not much bounce and the handling looks dialled!!! Wow!! Would love an upscaled Typhon.....Arrma!!!!!! Epic driving as always Eric!!. Why do pinions always come loose at the worst times hahahaha!!

With 4s Mojave and all large rcs you can always exceed the durability, only rcs I couldn’t break in one battery is typhon and the maxx and couple hydrid arrmas . Tbf I’m cheap I need call m2 racing 😂

def worried about that stamped chassis. I know it will not last to hard bashing. Is the fire team chassis the same? If I got the fire team chassis from m2c will it be the same. That is my plan. I really want this truck. Afraid it will be weak then they will put out the exb version so I am not sure if I want to drop the money right away. If m2c makes parts for it I will grab one because it will be better than a exb anyway.
Any M2C upgrade for the Fireteam should be a direct fit for the Big Rock but if not, Avery will have the parts ready soon! I know the towers and chassis braces are a direct fit!
Sure is funny how when it’s a sponsored rig and something gets bent the answer is “well m2c makes an upgrade for that” but when the rig wasn’t given to you the answer is “these rigs definitely can’t take an extreme bashing”
IMO For general bashing around I say the Big Rock. It's versitile, the perfect size and parts will be cheaper and easier to work on than the 1/5 scales. Also more aftermarket support than the HPI's.
So it’s a fireteam. Only difference I saw was the modifications and pieces to fit the scale body. I will say that if I was gonna buy a fireteam or this I would absolutely choose this!

Seems like they really watch and see what changes people do most and then try to incorporate them into their trucks
Absolutely beautiful truck ….the best body I’ve seen on a mt by far ….i own a x Maxx and a truggified arrma typing tlr with all the m2c upgrades on my arrma …..I would have bought this truck in a heart beat the only thing that’s stopping me is the price and yes things have got expensive but for that price I would had preferred exb materials ie the shock towers the chassis and some braces …..however hats off to arrma for this release and their new 8s range ….i like both arrma and traxxas but the real winners are us and obviously m2c racing once this is full m2c with a larger motor and esc and better servo it’s going to be the best monster truck out there …..durability will be alongside the mtx hoboa that things also a tank and I’ve driven that

Thicker fluid would decrease offroad handling. The bounce is inevatable on big jumps but the best thing a M2C racing shock upgrade with bladderless caps and delrin o ringed pistons. Those slow the afterbounce of the suspensin.

def worried about that stamped chassis. I know it will not last to hard bashing. Is the fire team chassis the same? If I got the fire team chassis from m2c will it be the same. That is my plan. I really want this truck. Afraid it will be weak then they will put out the exb version so I am not sure if I want to drop the money right away. If m2c makes parts for it I will grab one because it will be better than a exb anyway.
Any M2C upgrade for the Fireteam should be a direct fit for the Big Rock but if not, Avery will have the parts ready soon! I know the towers and chassis braces are a direct fit!
Sure is funny how when it’s a sponsored rig and something gets bent the answer is “well m2c makes an upgrade for that” but when the rig wasn’t given to you the answer is “these rigs definitely can’t take an extreme bashing”

If you had to choose between this truck, the arrma 1/5 outcast, or the hpi savage xl flux v2 for bashing around, which would you settle with?
IMO For general bashing around I say the Big Rock. It's versitile, the perfect size and parts will be cheaper and easier to work on than the 1/5 scales. Also more aftermarket support than the HPI's.

So it’s a fireteam. Only difference I saw was the modifications and pieces to fit the scale body. I will say that if I was gonna buy a fireteam or this I would absolutely choose this!
If I was smart I’d bought two fireteams when they were on clearance, for few bucks more I’d have one of these to drive like Eric and one to bling up
Arrma does do a excellent job setting rigs up the way they’re supposed to perform, even the cheapo Gorgon performs like a truck tuned for racing
@@RcPlayer-tt2vw Teah that would’ve been a good idea. I’m sure with a few parts and a body could’ve converted one to a big rock. Yeah they definitely do. I do very little tuning when I buy an arrma. Seems like they really watch and see what changes people do most and then try to incorporate them into their trucks

Absolutely beautiful truck ….the best body I’ve seen on a mt by far ….i own a x Maxx and a truggified arrma typing tlr with all the m2c upgrades on my arrma …..I would have bought this truck in a heart beat the only thing that’s stopping me is the price and yes things have got expensive but for that price I would had preferred exb materials ie the shock towers the chassis and some braces …..however hats off to arrma for this release and their new 8s range ….i like both arrma and traxxas but the real winners are us and obviously m2c racing once this is full m2c with a larger motor and esc and better servo it’s going to be the best monster truck out there …..durability will be alongside the mtx hoboa that things also a tank and I’ve driven that

I thought that all arrma rig's come with the safe-d pinion an clip so the pinion cant come off anymore ??? Or did this not have that ???
They do yes. When I switched to the 16 tooth I failed to use the clip. My fault😂

So when you put the optional pinion on I know it comes with that c clip but do you have to do anything else to insure it doesn’t pop off?

What would help with the bounce after landing? Thicker shock fluid?
Thicker fluid would decrease offroad handling. The bounce is inevatable on big jumps but the best thing a M2C racing shock upgrade with bladderless caps and delrin o ringed pistons. Those slow the afterbounce of the suspensin.
