Iverson was amazing. He wasn't gifted with size, but heavily made up for it with heart and talent. People like Shaq and LeBron are great athletes, but owe their success to their size. Iverson was one of the FEW select players that could compete at an MVP level without having a big body.

Win or lose Dom Carter just keep those Kobie's babies coming. They are the best well-played games out there. The way he plays his games is amazing, keep elevating himself. His games keep getting better and better. Nobody plays or practice as hard as Kobe does, he gives the fans what they came for and that a game they can remember and talk about, it's never a dull moment with him and the Lakers. I want to see all of Kobe's games, win or lose, I still want to see them. So if you have these games of Kobe's post them online for us. We love these Kobie's babies. We love him and the Lakers. AI doesn’t get enough credit for his defence. Yeah he wasn’t much of a stopper 1on1 but he was so incredibly disruptive and kept opponents on their heels all night moving the ball. He was such a persistent threat to steal the ball. Considering how small he was, he really made up for his shortcomings.

The problem with playing passing lanes is, it's risky. A.I. didn't give much effort defensively otherwise, so he really wasn't a good defender.

  • @spredthemadness-adambutler5115

The Shots off of turn around fadeaway that Kobe hits with pure ease still amazes me till this day! I got to meet him one day probably 1-2 years after he retired and the guy is literally a little more than 3/4 my size but pure muscle👀. The only thing scarier than him from a size standpoint that I met was Lebron. Unreal! But RIP Mamba!🙏🏾

What a great shot blocker like dwight howard would do to bother shots when he wasnt even in the direct vicinity of guys is exactly what Iverson would do to ball handlers because of his ability to steal the ball and he doesn't get a lot of credit for that.

Iverson was better than Kobe from '96-'06, but Iverson's injuries and off court drama caught up with him and by that time Kobe's game had developed to full blown Mamba status. In '05-'06 Shaq left the lakers and Kobe (for the first time) led the league in scoring. Kobe's career and skillset was much more polished from '06-'16.

@@vnicevalentino5331 Respectfully, Tim Duncan was the league MVP that year AND won the Finals. Tracy McGrady led the league in scoring.
Kevin Garnett had best overall stats (Kobe was 4th overall best stats behind Duncan & McGrady). Kobe didn't lead in ANY category. Ben Wallace was defensive player of the year. Kobe got player of the month just one month out of the entire season. Iverson led the league in steals.
Arguably the best player in the league that year was Duncan or McGrady depending on what you're considering.

@@BriceHoward7001 If you want to talk strictly 100% stats which is dumb Kobe had Tracy in rebounding, steals, assist and ft% that year. Duncan only got Kobe in rebounding, and Garnett reb and assist. If Kobe was also on Tracys team he would of won the scoring title that year because Tracy didn't have to share half his points with Shaq, and when Shaq went out Kobe went on a run of 9 straight 40+ point games.

@@wizzjo1nt5 I never said Kobe was whack. I just said he was better in the 2nd half of his career and Kobe did not dominate the league like Iverson did from '96-'06. I was age 14 to 24 that ten year span, I saw and felt the whole thing. Kobe was just in a much better situation with the Lakers. Iverson was basically Barry Sanders.
