    • @andregant9980

      Kobe balled out for sure. But make no mistake, he balled out because he has the most dominant center of all time on his squad as well. It’s an entirely different dynamo when you have such a dominant big man down below. Perimeter lanes open up much more because the defense is dbl’ing down on Shaq which creates plenty of space for slicing to the basket and swinging the ball. Despite the dbl teams and Kobe’s performances , Shaq still won the Finals MVPs. Not gonna lie, although I have no way to prove it, I believe Shaq winning those Finals MVPs bothered Kobe.

    • @Rich_iam
      @Rich_iam 5 лет назад +6

      @@andregant9980 how is there more space to get to the paint when shaq is there. I don't think you get how a center that doesn't stretch the floor works. Perfect example was how kobe dominated the spurs series when Duncan and Robinson were in the paint, Shaq clearly struggled against them. Kobe always performed in those WCF battles and if you know basketball you know those were the real finals because the east was a cake walk.

    One thing about ai was he shot a bad % alot BUT he was also getting to the line double digits every game. He lived at the line most nights. Was as fierce as they come competitive wise even Kobe said that ai was the first to make him realize he had to go harder and really pushed him to be better . AI took beatings too man. He had so many LINGERING injuries and almost always played through them. Elbow bursitis bone spurs splints in his shin broken fingers sprained ankles and almost ALWAYS laced up. Lighting fast off the dribble. I'd love to see him today cuz hed probly average 20 free throws a game almost with the foul calls . You wouldn't even be able to touch him . He kinda passed the league into the new century honestly. He brought a whole new kind of swagger to the sport. I mean hell they changed the dress code really cuz of this man lmao. He was who he was Nd he was not afraid to show it
