    Nowadays the fans would say "he shot under 50% he sucks", not knowing this was one of the greatest scorers and leaders, who wouldn't flop to get calls like some stars do now. Like Kobe, MJ, Westbrook, etc, he'd bring it every game and play his ass off. Iverson is one of the best, no doubt.

      Kobe balled out for sure. But make no mistake, he balled out because he has the most dominant center of all time on his squad as well. It’s an entirely different dynamo when you have such a dominant big man down below. Perimeter lanes open up much more because the defense is dbl’ing down on Shaq which creates plenty of space for slicing to the basket and swinging the ball. Despite the dbl teams and Kobe’s performances , Shaq still won the Finals MVPs. Not gonna lie, although I have no way to prove it, I believe Shaq winning those Finals MVPs bothered Kobe.

    • @Rich_iam
      @Rich_iam 5 лет назад +6

      @@andregant9980 how is there more space to get to the paint when shaq is there. I don't think you get how a center that doesn't stretch the floor works. Perfect example was how kobe dominated the spurs series when Duncan and Robinson were in the paint, Shaq clearly struggled against them. Kobe always performed in those WCF battles and if you know basketball you know those were the real finals because the east was a cake walk.

    Honestly let's face it, the refs hated Iverson. How couldn't he get to the free throw line the whole game. Added to the fact that the NBA wanted the Lakers on top again , gave the Sixer's even less of a chance on winning it apart from their lack of talent compare to the Lakers .

    • @daxecutioner24
      @daxecutioner24 9 лет назад +2

      ***** That's not rigging it? Well obviously I was referring to the early 2000's..There's plenty of RUclips footage of refs completely helping the Lakers get to the finals ,back when they had those battles with Sacramento and Portland. That's definitely defined as rig, even if you do it during the season or playoffs. Refs completely change their play from season to playoffs. Definitely some imbalance in between calls. For example mosgov was allow to go straight up,jumping to a defender without a foul call..But Dwight,other players do the same thing and gets called. Now the NBA is a lot cleaner since the allegations of former ref came out..Lebron definitely has favoritism. He can do anything on the court and never gets called for anything , apart from his constant traveling

    over 20 shots, not 1 foul call + he made the ref aware, so he should be expecting & looking out for it, what fisher did at 8:25 is called a snake bite, when u hit the elbow of the shooter, it throws off the shot completely, was it deliberate yes i think so, why else would he look away when he is trying to block the shot, its s if he is looking to see if the refs would call it. nope, lakers was supposed to win that game
