My first two weeks in Hawaii were spent surfing mostly Pipeline... We were graced with tons of solid swell, and on my second day surfing of the trip, I lucked into what I'd say is my Best Pipeline wave of my life! I went on to sneak some other rad ones throughout the two weeks... but that "one" made my trip!

Duke said it best, "The best surfer out there is the one having the most fun". Brett embodies the aloha spirit of surfing and is always upbeat and a fantastic ambassador for the sport. Wish everyone in the line up had his attitude. I also like the fact you didn't edit out the waves you ate it on, and some of the sketchier ones you managed to pull off, makes the sweet ones easier to appreciate.
Sure the big perfect one is great, but some of my best waves were the ones, I didn't think I'd make and managed to sketch through one section after another until I got to the end. That said, while you got a great 'one', and it looked smooth, you can tell there is a good bit of Holy Shit! going on. Bravo!!

it is for me... the length is what helps you get into the wave, cause it streamlines your paddling. It honestly feels big to me, except on the biggest pipe days. But, surfboards are all relative to each rider.
