    "What's this? A Dice Chatter terrain building video? Cool. I guess that because it's not a Frostgrave video we won't see Donny cavorting in his wizard's robe this time though."

    For those who can't or don't want to buy aluminum wire in spools, you can also use metal paperclips. It produces a shorter tree overall, but you can get them at any dollar store or grocery store.

  • @RerollingOnes
    @RerollingOnes 3 года назад +2

    You left out a critical step of how these can be used as an improvised weapon!
    Love this stuff. Nice work!
    What do you like the most about using the Vynyl Peel & Stick tiles? I am looking for a new basing material, I usually stick to MDF but it's a pain to get the time in the wood shop to slice it all down.

    • @DiceChatter
      @DiceChatter  3 года назад +2

      I assume this is Shoe, and yes, I poked myself way too many times on these damn trees!
      About the tiles, I find they work great on smaller pieces of terrain or larger pieces that cover a large portion of the tile's surface area. They are not as sturdy as MDF, but they are super thin and easy to bevel/cut out. Now saws needed. And yes I have the same general problem with MDF, cutting it to size is a pain... I'd say give it a try!

      @@DiceChatter Yep! It's Shoe. :D The Crafty one.

    And if you need to turn these dead trees into living trees, just slap some flocking on the branches!
    These are great trees though, i've wanted to try my hand at twisting wire to make some trees for terrain (or basing bigger minis?)

    These trees look amazing! I’ve always been intimidated of using wire to make the trees… Your technique however has me wanting to try it again! In the past, I’ve always used pumpkin stems and woodland scenics trees. On a sidenote, maybe use a paint in your mod podge, So you can be able to determine where you were actually painted the mod podge and where you have it.
