Nice arrangement. I saw Billy several years ago , with Kenny , Ian Wallace (You name 'em , he drummed for 'em.) , and Johnny Cash's Bass Player. They played a REAL Rockabilly set for me , the guy who loaned out his bass , and , otherwise , a room full of Yuppies , who just wanted to watch sports on the big screen TV, and they KILLED it.
I've always been a Peter Green fan and "oh well" is one of his best..whoa nellie bell but hot damn Billy does a great cover with guys like the great Kenny Vaughn and that bass thumping Winchester boy thats a helluva band..don't know why I can't recall the drummer's name right now (my old age)..Burnette always played with top drawer musicians like his Daddy and Uncle as a young fella.
@@commontater8630 it's okay but it doesn't pay tribute well to the Peter Green original. There are some songs you should not mess with. They should have made the full stops . Whatever 🤗
@@chriskroll4166 I can understand your love of a classic but Peter Green is dead and his original is long in the can. If Billy Burnette and Kenny Vaughn want to mess with it, I say Go Boys Go (I'm a fan of both, I'll admit). It's live music FFS, they're not trying to make a hit record.
@@commontater8630 yeah but he should have made the stops. It just sounds better that way because that's the way Peter green wrote it. The only reason I pulled it up is because this Thursday I will be hanging out with Billy because he is sitting in with some Fleetwood Mac tribute band that's playing in my area and some people want to introduce me to Billy so I thought I would pull up some of Billy solo albums and check out some of his stuff a little further just in case we get to conversating. But I have all the respect in the world for Burley Burnett and his brilliant musical family. I have all of Johnny burnette recordings and most of his father dorsey's recordings too. And when he joined Fleetwood Mac and took over for Lindsey I thought he was brilliant. But I am looking forward to hanging out with him Thursday and I wouldn't say anything to him about it because he would probably lay me out. This is just between you and me. Shhhh 🤭
Wow! Dropped in casually (for Billy) and got hooked!!!
sooo good, I love what I hear... thumbs up
FANTASTIC BAND....BASS SUPER FANTASTIC!!!
That was great. Unexpected but I stayed until the end.

A nice wink to his days as a member of Fleetwood Mac.
Wow! Brotha be jammin’!👍🏽😁👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
great performance
I came to watch Billy Burnett… And was treated to some additional Mark Winchester! Score!
Have I been living under a rock? I didn't realize Kenny played with him! I remember hearing this as a podcast, I think.
Nice job on the cover!
..wow .. that was good..
Who`s the bassplayer? Is it Mark Winchester???
Them good old boys look they are earning their money. And enjoying the fuck out of it .

Lol you should check out his son. Beau burnette
la version la plus incroyable...
Kenny almost is getting the Eric Clapton "woman tone" on a tele!
layin' it down.
It is Mark Winchester. Wow..
isn't the guitar player from the Jayhawks ?
with kenny vaughan!!!!!
The stand up bass and slapping doesn't fit the song at all, i know he's trying to rockabilly it up a bit, but yeah, doesn't work..
Disagree. That's some tremendous driving bass, and it doesn't sound strictly rockabilly.

No good... no good 😳☕🥁
don't know about anybody else, but when I encounter such a negative opinion , I want to hear something in the way of a reason for it.
Billy sure has packed on the pounds, and I see he is still as mediocre a guitar player as ever.
Billy is a good singer and songwriter. He doesn't have to be superman on guitar, he can get people like Kenny Vaughn to play with him.
You say that about his playing like it's a bad thing,
