Another pilot that shouldn’t be a pilot.
He sounded like he might have been high. And I don't mean in altitude.
Give me a break. He made an error when he came off the touch and go. There’s not a pilot alive who hasn’t made this same mistake.
@@LEVELGAZANOWhe could’ve checked his heading a few times before saying the tower was wrong
@@tomit-nl agreed but mistakes happen especially if he’s visual.
@@tomit-nl Tell me you're not a pilot by not telling me you're not a pilot.
129HF needs to get one of those things, what do you call them?, oh yeah, a compass! He needs one of those.
and an educational beatdown
And a dope slap.
Tower had enough of 129HF. "You can leave my airspace." Damn straight. That was the most ATC way of saying GTFO.
According to Flight Aware, the pilot continued on his flight to Portugal.
Sounds good.
Give the tapes to the local FSDO and see if they think it sounds good.
I fly here all the time. Bridgeport Controllers are the nicest, most accommodating controllers in the North East. You really have to work to piss them off.
This pilot should take this as a sign.
Wow! The arrogance. If ATC had to tell me I was downwind for the wrong runway, I’d be mortified. Back to school to learn to read a compass I’d say.
More worrying is the question of how safe a pilot like this might be generally, and should he be even authorised to operate solo, let alone with unsuspecting passengers on board?
They sounded intoxicated maybe?
Sounds good.
Are you asking a question?
Sounded that way, is flying under influence an offense?
Never heard a tower controller.Ask someone to leave their airspace.😁
Sounded good!
Oh that happened to me once when doing a Bay tour in SF. I had started from San Jose and transitioned the class B, exited, went round the bridge, Alcatraz and back into the class B. The controller complained that I didn't have clearance, exit airspace and request again. Kinda pedantic since I assumed she understood the plan since i'd already passed that info but fair enough, misunderstanding, no drama, 180 turn, appropriate request and granted. *shrugs*
rumor has it is that 129HF is still on the Right Downwind for 29....
😅
Or 24? 😂
I never knew Mr Magoo had a pilot's license.
😅 👏🏾
I really admire the professional ism and patience of controllers.
129HF is a Heritage Flight Academy flight school aircraft out of Islip.
29HF "You're an arrogant SOB"
"Sounds good"
Sounds like Jeff Spicoli is flying 129HF.
😂I had to Google this dude!
HF has a garbage attitude
129HF sounds like a heritage flight academy plane. Used to work there, this dude sounds inebriated or compromised in some way.
Legend has it that this pilot just flies from airport to airport flying around any ol' way just to piss off the local controllers and to see how long it will take to get kicked out of their airspace.
"Land that plane now. And start practicing spitting out teeth cause when I see you, o boy😅. He needs to keep playing simulators in his mom's basement for a few more years 😅
Sounds good!
Groovy.
Drunk!
Exit my airspace. Love it. Nice job controller
129HF student and CFI , have no business in aviation 😖🤣 this is why the 1500 hr restriction exists 😖
Why is this "pilot" allowed to fly? He is a public hazard.
Wow I was flying into Bridgeport the other day and this was the tower controller, that’s funny lol
Yeah you can clear my airspace! 🖐🏾
How is that not a deviation and take number to call?
he never gave him a vector
@@leeclemens879 And? He gave him instruction and he didn´t do it as he may.
so... is N129HF still circling over Long Island Sound right now?(2PM EDT, July 9, 2024)
It's likely a trainer that switches pilots every 2-3 hours.
Sounds good👊🏻
This guy really had the "i make no mistakes" attitude.
Not the right attitude in aviation.
Often wrong, never in doubt.
I' ve flown small airplanes and when u do a lap( take off, downwind, base and final), first u keep the runway in sight!! right downwind means u re on the left of the runway and u keep it in sight!! second, u have ur compass!! its not difficult to calculate ur heading for a downwind!! this guy seems to be flying 040 or 050 instead of 110 , and he says he is downwind for runway 29 !!!
If you can't read a compass...
I admire the controller's patience. i wish HF had landed and tested for alcohol.
Somehow I get the feeling this pilot intentionally flew the pattrens he did to cause trouble. Nly thing different as a contoller I might have done is ask the pilot what heading he was on. It was definately a pilot deviation.
So where does that pilot go?
so anybody knows what happened to 129?
Still flying southeast… 🙄
@@JohnSmith-gb5vg sounds good
how much is 29-18?
Shouldn’t have a licence.
Does he not have a compass?
Every plane with transponder have compass. Without it cannot enter to controlled airspace.
@@Dzordzikk guess he might consider looking at it once or twice.
Maybe it is faulty?
WOWWW lol
Everyone assumes incompetent or drunk but he could be unwell, possibly a stroke.
Or hypoxic?
Jabbed???
not defending the pilot, but ATC could have given him a specific vector once it was clear the pilot was lost/confused?
In the main, tower controllers are not radar controllers and are unable to give radar vectors. Even if the tower is radar equipped, this is not used to provide services to VFR pilots.
The first point of call is for the pilot to realise, and admit to himself that he has screwed up or become lost/disorientated. This guy never got close. He thought it was acceptable to just drift around on any old heading in a busy environment without clarifying anything, and without any proper interaction on the radio. “Sounds good” is NOT a useful or communicative phrase in aviation RT.
Then request vectors from atc then. Dont say “Roger” then go on to screw things up for the 3rd time
I get young people new on my job a lot. They think “sounds good” is an appropriate response to everything. I want to slap the taste out of their mouths. I saw a funny skit recently where a grown up called the young person out for using that “I don’t give a BEEP” tone of voice. I hope the controller has a way of reporting the noncompliance and attitude.
Come to Ireland, we have shortened Sounds good to just "Sound".
Don't forget "my bad."
"Cessna 152, you just flew over the White House!"
"My bad."
Sounds good
