    Dallas and the state of Texas in general, “good” economy but nothing really special for entertainment (other than sports).
    Plazas, eateries, parks that you can find in any other state/city in the US. In my opinion San Antonio may offer something more unique.
    Assuming these are the top things to do in this city is not bad, but Dallas looks very average. Did you miss something?

    • @TouristtoLocal
      @TouristtoLocal  3 года назад +2

      San Antonio is on our list for upcoming trips! I think it will be more our style. I'm sure there are more interesting things to do in Dallas, but we need more time! With it being so big, it's a little difficult to get your bearings.

    I'm noticing in a lot of your shots, it seemed quite empty of locals except for your fort worth gun fight shots. I just came back from Dallas and it felt empty. I thought it was the February winter causing the lack of people. What were your overall thoughts on the locals and the energy they add or don't add to the city's energy?

    • @TouristtoLocal
      @TouristtoLocal  2 года назад +1

      Good question! We had filmed most of this during the weekday, so we figured the lack of people on the street must have been because people were at work. During the time we were at the Fort Worth gun fight, it was a weekend, so we definitely noticed a lot more people out. I think during the middle of the week it is just dead outside!

    You mentioned the little parks in downtown Dallas. About 20 years ago, the city wasted about a million dollars on a study asking why people don’t spend time outside in the downtown area. Obvious answer - it’s hot…several days of 104 to 107 in July, 2022. And it’s cold in winter. We actually get more wind than the “Windy City / Chicago. Cold plus wind means it’s uncomfortable outside.
