Go to the Fill tab on the Fill and Stroke menu and click on the X. That will remove the fill color. IF the whole circle vanishes, then click on the Stroke Paint tab on the Fill and Stroke menu and make sure you have a color selected (not white if you have a white canvas). How do you just get the stroke? I get filled circle with no stroke.

    • @IronEchoDesign
      @IronEchoDesign  2 года назад +1

      Good question. When you make your circle, open the Fill and Stroke tab. Click on Stroke and choose the color. Make sure the opacity slider towards the bottom of the menu is not set to full transparency. If you want to remove the fill, click on Fill tab and hit the X to remove it. Hope this helps!

    How do you make the color palette

    • @IronEchoDesign
      @IronEchoDesign  3 года назад

      Great question! Usually I find an image that has a nice color range I can pull from. Drop the source image in Inkscape and make 4 or 5 little squares that will become the palette. Eyedropper tool lets you pinpoint the colors in the source file to change the boxes to whatever spectrum of colors you want. In the Inkscape Ultimate Quickstart Guide video on this channel, you can see an example where I make a color palette this way. There should be a chapter marker in the video description for Eyedropper. Hopw this helps!
