Chishiya is the smartest AND best character by far. He can solve this whole borderland shit solo fr if he had the energy but my guy is just so unbothered by this whole situation and wants to chill 😂
Chisiya is awesome, tho he didn't figure out the beach's game. He has his limits like all the others.
What I love about this show is that it shows different types of intelligence in Ann (answer-driven), Arisu (Very Empathetic-based), Best-boy Chishiya (raw intelligence with very little empathy).
I also love how they show different types of physical strengths: Kuina's martial skills can't parkour as well as Rock climber, Usagi, who is shit at fighting and striking back. Heiya's archery is pretty good as my girl was ready to murder, leg or no leg.
Either way Chishiya carries the show with his smug face too😆
Chisiya is very smart. In the manga, Chisiya is not part of the Jack of hearts game, only in the King of diamonds game.

@@reggielacey2235 you not pay attention enought to notice what that 2 survival in the game tell you. Just only luck can't make you survive in this game. you have to CHOOSE the right person and ACT in the right time.
it's not just pure luck bro. He did consider different factors to come up with the right answer. He did process of elimination based on the answers he's been getting ad finally, 50/50 either diamond or spade. You cannot just say that he's lucky because you did not comprehend his train of thoughts. lol@@reggielacey2235
I love how chishiya’s and arisu’s names sound similar to the cheshire cat and alice in alice and wonderland. it just suits them so much and it flew over my head the first season lmao
Chishiya means Cheshire Cat in Japanese and arisu is the Japanese pronunciation of Alice but is considered a masculine name (and it’s his family name anyways). Usagi means white rabbit as well. This is all described in the BTS and any forum that discusses AIB
There was a guy named "Hatter" in s1 😭
kuina is the cattepillar. She has the wings tattoo, symbolizes about the metamorphosis of an caterpillar turning into a butterfly. and the character design, her hair is in braid looking like a worm. (talking in manga perspective)

@@ItsNessaTho almost every little detail about Alice in Borderland were all well written.
Notice how Chisiya kept telling them "These taste better" referring to how they always chose the same snacks....lol attention to detail is incredible.

Chisiya and arisu are both smart but in different ways...Arisu is book smart..he knows stuff because he read about puzzles, math etc...Chisiya is street smart, he learns by observing things abd people..least likely person to get betrayed like ever

@@reggielacey2235 in these games you have to be a bit lucky to win...but you also need to be smart enough to make use of the luck...Chisiya eliminated 2 options thus raising his chance of survival from 25% to 50%..then the rest was luck
Well Chishiya was formerly a doctor which requires "Book smarts." He's a mix of both probably. Plus in the king of diamonds he used logic to get a close estimate to the real number but also played it with a psychological tactic by reading the people, so he won using both knowledge and "street smarts."
All the games in which Chishiya partecipated were the most exciting
The attraction I have for Chishiya’s intellect alone, is ridiculous.
I finished the show last night, it was honestly amazing. Apart from one small thing, for myself personally. No spoilers. Alice in Borderland to me, is infinitely better than Squid Game.
Squid Game got the hype that Alice in Borderland should have got because on top of everything, this story has heart, you’re invested in the characters. And those fireworks….
huh. I get that everyone has different perspectives and preferences, but squid game had people invested in the characters too. If anything, I'd say that squid game makes ppl more invested in the characters, whereas Alice in Borderland has better games
@@Hotcheetos777 I’ve been told by people the complete opposite when it comes to the characters. They were more invested in them in Alice in Borderland. All comes down to personal preference.
Squid Game had a tighter script, it was worked on for years I suppose.
I kinda figured the Jack was either the guy with the bangs or the girl who stuck by the guy's side. Mostly because in my head, the Jack wouldn't be someone who antagonized people. People who antagonize people get taken out easily and immediately. But someone willing to submit to others is likely to gain their trust by seeming like a non-threat. And by gaining their trust and sticking in the background, they're less likely to be betrayed. Perfect hiding spot. Chishiya came through and in a scenario where he no longer had allies, figured out a plan to survive and escape. Truly massive brain plays.
Dang you're smart. But true, I thought the people who were putting themselves too much at the front would be killed first. In a game like this, the leader(s) is(are) bound to be betrayed and we saw it with the one with the tattoos or the girl with the blue dress. Hence I figured after they were killed that it wouldn't make sense for them to be Jack anyways. So I thought maybe a leader that is less imposing and builds trust with someone while staying discreet like the two main guys at the end could be the Jack. I just didn't think about the fact that the supposed subordinates are not that dumb and wouldn't let themselves be led till the end. And Chisiya is a goat for figuring that out.

Because The jack is also define as the “one-eyed jack” his side bangs covering the right eye gives it off.

I read a comment on another video that the hint to who the Jack of Hearts was in plain sight the entire time! The Jack of Hearts card only shows one eye and the dude that was JoH literally shows only one of his eye since the other one was covered by his hair. Seriously, the details in this show 😭🙌🏻

I also saw that the pictures of the people on the screen line up with the alphabet. If you start from top left to right, then the J lands on bangs. But that is probably just a coincidence

@@lesyeuxdeprakky same as the show, banda and yaba tried torturing him for an hour to get information about borderland, and instead of answering them, he killed himself by saying the wrong symbol on purpose

Face cards don't have to compete in other games for visas since they're citizens of that world, so no one in Arisu's gang is a face card. Hope this helps

Also the girl Kotoko was crazy because Chishya told her the correct suit AND the guy she was working with told her the correct suit. Which means she ignored the fact that 2 people told her the same suit and 1 told her a different suit. The chances that 2 people who tell you the same incorrect suit without prior knowledge of each others guess is extremely unlikely. She didn't seem to notice. She had 2 chances to not die but went with the guy who was lying anyway lol. One of the few basic logical deductions that could have been made.
25:24 Actually in the manga the King of Spades has some sort of tracker in his left arm that's why he knows exactly where people are, they just didn't include it in the Series I don't know why.
They managed to exclude a lot of stuff that would be easy to include

Kento Yamazaki (Arisu) definitely looks taller and muscular in season 2 compared to season 1.

16:13 As long as the person can go in a cell and tell his suit it's fine, they put him in a cell (so he's already inside one) and torture him maybe left his mouth so he can still talk.
Chishiya is the most cool character, but I really like Arisu. And btw, ARISU is ALICE in Japanese in case you didn’t know. :>

For your information, none of main character played Jack of Heart in Manga including Chisiya. For me, it's more thrilling and exiting because I personally don't know who will survive. The player that I was rooting for did not survive. They also got deeper with characters. The MVPs for this game are the two survivors. Adding Chisiya remove that element of surprise because we will know he will survive.
Kyuma told us from the start that the face cards are deathmatches against citizens of this world, so while it would be fun for Chishiya to be the Jack of Hearts it would not have made any sense, as it had to be someone who arrived before our generation of players.
I see a lot of Chishiya fans around yt which is well deserved, but very few that like him for his character traits instead of just calling him smart or chill. Hope more people will get the actual idea before the show is over, especially since Chishiya is yet another thing the show does so much better than the manga

Usagi is an avid hiker / camper. In season 1 she was shown catching a rabit in a snare. I feel like the flashback in this episode didn't really fit unless she was just trying to distract Arisu from the loss of his friends.
@@grungehamster8 well I meant it sorta all round so that way they may have more meat since it seems to be more rare to come across & we have seen some places have power so it's possible they could figure out how to get a freezer going LMAOOO but she did help him feel better

I feel like the reason Diamond games kinda suck in comparison to Heart is because Hearts are ALWAYS so god damn interesting. It's like a spy movie on overdrive all the time. The way this game unfolded was INSANE.

As smart as Chishya is... it still came down to a 50 50 coin flip between Diamond and Spade. Hard work is typically a precursor to good luck. A difficult game and he narrowly escaped alive.
