I went to Apple last year and I'm not gonna lie, I would go back because of the multitasking and the ability to download Android APK's outside of Google Play. Now that they are on par with the Pixel with 3 years of software updates, now its a question for me if I want them immediately with Google Pixel or wait months through Google, Samsung and my carrier, Verizon. So I'm not ruling coming back to Android. I do miss it.

I went from galaxy note 10+ to iPhone 11 this year and I miss multitasking so much! Both multitasking and pin to screen are essential for me. Not to mention the spen... The only thing that I prefer on iphones is the smoothness overall, but that's not even a big deal. Can't wait to come back to android, with the S22 next year.
I had my daughter buy out my iphone 12 pro so I could get this one. My wife and kids all use iPhones and they convinced me to get one. It's a cool phone, but I've been rocking with samsung since the epic 4g. I like the Samsung ecosystem much better.
My daughter and I went sledding on a BEAUTIFUL day a few weeks ago. The hill was perfect, the sun was shining bright, and we were going down a huge hill (about 150-200 meters from top to bottom). I wanted to use Director's View but couldn't remember the name of it. I went through all the camera settings and lenses multiple times and still missed it. And I'm a huge tech nerd. Watching your clip with it just bummed me out. Lol. I ended up just recording us going down normally and switched between lenses a few times, but I can imagine how awesome the video could have been and that's what gets me. Come on Samsung name stuff in a way that makes things more simple. Dual video. Or picture in picture. If a tech nerd like myself misses it, the rest of the world will probably never even notice it. So frustrating.

I also love the haptic feedback on the phone. Especially when taking pictures... So satisfying! However something's that has bothered me with the phone is camera. Yes the zoom is great but the normal pictures are just kinda underwhelming for me. Maybe smartphone cameras just aren't there yet...
I was talking with a Samsung rep the other day and he told me that one of the main reasons the S21 Ultra no longer has the SD card is because it actually hurts performance. UFS 3.0 is massively faster in both read and write speeds when compared to SD cards. This would greatly hamper performance if you're recording 4k or 8k video directly to a SD card which, in turn, would make the phone seem worse than it would be if recorded directly UFS 3.0 storage. Not sure of the validity of the Samsung rep's statement on this but it's something to chew on.
The software was the main reason I steered clear of Samsung for so long. I found myself giving OnePlus a run because of the near stock Android experience with Oxygen OS and it was great. But when I saw the overhaul into One UI that Samsung did and tried it out for myself, I found myself steering back toward Samsung. Recently picked up the S21 Ultra on a fairly solid deal and I couldn't be happier (thus far). The experience is smooth and intuitive. Battery has been insane. I only charge at the end of the day and I am good to go with heavy use until the same time the next day. And the cameras take some incredible shots. It's an insanely feature rich phone with one of the best, if the not the best, display on the market. So far so good! Hope this trend continues.

No word on the fact that using the camera for more than 15 min will make it heat up till it burns your hands. Especially on videoconferencing apps (teams, messenger, whatsup). Super review!
I have a note 20 ultra but im upgrading to the s21 ultra. I haven't had an "s line" phone since the s7 edge but the circular corners and the camera, battery, and wQHD+ with 120mhz is what is drawing me in. Supposed to get it today! Only thing i didn't like is no SD card expansion but watch they add it back next year. Its all good though I have one drive, google photos etc. Not the end of the world.

Nope, at first it took me time to know where the sensor was, and failed sometimes, but now i unlock it sooo fast on my s21. Maybe register your fingerfrint more times and in different positions idk
I re-registered a million times. Same problem. What you should try is disabling eye unlock - something about my device made it find my fingerprint more accurately.
"Lacking of Charging Brick in the box". They actually do give you charging brick, it is inside the wireless charging box. It is a Super Fast Charging AC adapter with 1 .0M data cable.
Recording using both cameras is a festurete that was active since galaxy s5. I had one, I'm really impressed that this festure is not available in newer versions of galaxy A or M

There isn't an Note 21. It's either you get the Galaxy Note20 Ultra or S21 Ultra(which is ny current daily driver, and N20U as my other business phone)
I traded in my Note 10 Plus for the Ultra about 2 weeks ago. Really enjoying it. The only downside is that my battery life seems roughly the same at around 6 hours in screen time compared to what you're getting at 9.
@@tylongkicks8821 Tmobile is giving a $800 credit for a Note 10 Plus trade in, as well as also getting $200 Samsung credit. If it weren't for those, I feel the Note 10 would be good to go for at least another year. The camera is definitely better, so if that's a priority I'd look into upgrading. If not, wait for the Note 21 Ultra.
Amazing video. Like you said, the normal people doesn't use all the features the phone has, nevertheless, content creators as you and me does, not always but must of the time. Just picked mine up. After a cracked screen on my 9 plus set my upgrade by 2 months. I've never cared about the cameras on phones. I figure my nikon slr beats any phone cameras. I figure that's why the bloated price tag, but like I told the sales associate, screw it, you only live once and spent the 1k plus. Definitely the best Android phone right now. Of the year? Probably. Get one if you can.

Register more than one fingerprints to make it easier if you have problems with the unlocking. No need to "press hard", because simply doesn't work on pressure! I saw that you did it every time. You need to tap not long press.

However If you covered the cameras spects , wireless charging, and IP rating, it would really help consumers to make a informed decision, when considering the pro's and cons about this phone. Not sure why it took me so long to subscribe to your page, but I just did. I've watched your videos for quite some time now and appreciate how your reviews seem to cater to the everyday man & woman. I'm a tech-nerd and catch up on stuff all the time even if I have no intention to purchase stuff. I DID get the S21 Ultra though. So many of the RUclips channels I watch seem to concentrate way too much on stuff the average consumer literally doesn't care or even know about. Don't get me wrong, a lot of that info is useful, but a great deal seems to be given simply to impress viewers and it seems like serious overkill to me. I like the niche you provide and appreciate your no-nonsense delivery. As someone in broadcasting, I genuinely dislike people who try to do "announcer mode" when recording themselves and it sounds silly and absurd. I much prefer a natural delivery such as yours. Thank you for all the work you do preparing these videos. They are truly informative and fun to watch. In today's world, that is saying a lot. Kudos to you!

I love your real world use approach and how you don't just throw specs out there like most reviewers. I also love that if you don't personally use a feature, you don't just throw out the "gimmick" crutch. I love my S21Ultra, but I'm still bothered by the missing expandable storage and how the S-Pen didn't have a great storage solution. With on your storage issues, Samsung! 😁 If you do a tips/tricks video, please consider showing how you pinned that floating picture of your license when going out the form. That seems like it will be useful and it's just another example of you showcasing features in real world use. Bravo!
I had some battery issues on my S21 Ultra 512 snapdragon model, but I fixed them. Currently my percentage is at 74%, with an onscreen time of 2 hours, and last full charge was 23hr 18min, without a full charge or some charge. I have the phone on FHD, 60hz, 4GLTE. I have WiFi scanning off, Play protect scanning off in the google play store, location off (as well as wifi and Bluetooth scan for accuracy). I do have the adaptive battery on. That is the only option that I use, I do not use the power saving feature. I have force dark mode option on in developer settings. I have noticed because I have T-mobile as well that 5G even though it is better, will use more power from your device, especially if you don't have good signal, I was a communications guy in the military and it will run your battery down quicker than 4GLTE. If you wanna test the quality of your 5G and see how effective it is I just turned mine on right now, go to about phone, status info, and select Sim card status, my signal strength on 5G is -111 dBm which is pretty crappy signal, even though everything is running smooth. I switched to 4GLTE and checked my signal is -87 which is better and less battery drain than 5G. You will in reality want a level between high -70s and mid -80s, but the rule is the closer the number is to 0 the better your signal will be, but in reality I have seen my phone, not just this one but the lowest I ever seen was probably -70. The last thing I forgot to say is I go to my apps, and select the app, then select Mobile data, if you do not want that app running in the background select "Allow background data usage" off and "allow data usage while data saver is on" off. I've done this for the majority of my apps, only left my RUclips, amazon Music, messaging, and probably like 5 more apps turned on for this. Hope this helps lemme know if you have any questions. Almost forgot Sync is off. Also last thing the quality and building materials that the building you are in plays a huge role, if it has to use more battery because it is struggling to get a signal and is always scanning, then it will drain your battery more. I would turn on your wifi and wifi calling and disable your data, you will still receive text messages with this option off. Hope this helps!

I was really not impressed with any phone to upgrade to until this Ultra, I've been looking for a year. I have a S7 Edge that was limping along, it was shy 1 month of being 5 years old. I wasn't impressed with the S20 and the price got me looking for other options. I wasn't impressed with Pixel 4, waited for Pixel 5 on advice from my sons but I wasn't impressed and returned it. The screen was so dull compared to Samsung's OLED and I really wanted something larger not smaller. I was about to get an S20 FE but luckily I starting seeing articles and videos about the S21 and knew this was going to be my next phone. I splurged for the Ultra 512gb since its been 5 years since I bought a phone. I will start traveling soon and was also looking for a SLR camera to share pictures from but I decided I won't bother with a separate camera now since I bought this S21 Ultra, so it actually saved me money in that sense. I absolutely love it, the screen, the sound, the speed, the camera. I'm happy with it. I preordered and got $200 accessory credit so I picked up the Pro Earbuds (wonderful sound) and a case and also got a free Smart Tag. I was watching you use the thumb sensor and hit the off button on the side to sign in again, did you know you can tap the screen twice to turn it on and off (you probably do)? I just recently discovered that little trick.

I got mine with the trade-in deal got the 128 gig for only $400 with free buds, not only was it the best deal I've ever gotten for a phone but this is the best phone I've ever owned. I love your videos beautiful lady, I got the S21 Ultra on the Phantom black from Amazon UK but when I did the Pre-order to get the free gifts I wanted the 256 gb but out of stock except the silver one & I really wanted the black one, but anyway so far I’m getting on well with the 128gb storage of the phone, I just love it I find it hard to put it down is just got so much to offer the S21 Ultra & the cameras yeah amazing & I’m also getting 2 days battery on it & with my old 25 watts fast charger I use from my galaxy s10 lite, I can fully charge it from 15% to 100% in just 1 hour, Samsung has definitely cracked it with this S21 Ultra, best Android smartphone u can buy right now like I said I’m loving it, u stay safe & thanks for all your great videos peace ✌️

Nothing ultra when they removed the expandable memory (and also charger and earlier on, headphone jack)... It is so funny we quietly accept these cuts as "industry practice". There are good alternatives that don't cut these corners. Xperia 1 III comes to mind. Instead of cutting, Sony reintroduced all these features, and then add 120Hz refresh rate while maintaining 4K on their OLED screen! Also true optical 70mm + 105mm zoom on a single lens (no down sampling) and 20 fps with eye AF for humans and animals! Since you like taking animal shots, you should really check out the Xperia 1 III when it comes out soon.
Something that no other popular reviewer does that I would appreciate is going over the materials on the sides of the phone. A LOT of premium android and Samsung phones are made out of polished aluminum that just looks like it’s stainless steel and I find that misleading. Many reviewers fall in the trap of just calling it stainless steel
Hello Thao...I used to be a Samsung devotee and now i have my second OnePlus phone.They have amazing battery life,one of the fastest recharge rates,90HZ,and the charger comes with it,at $700.I have an open line,so I am thinking about getting back to Samsung,yet I am hesitant because for over $1000,i should have a charger and whatever else i need.I do have 2 Samsung tablets,still have my Note 3,and I wish they would bring back three things..IR Blaster..External storage..headphone jack..I NEVER use wireless headphones nor bluetooth devices on my head.I need to see if they can offer me a good price or include a charger.I am ok with no external storage,nor how it looks,weight,size,because I'm a grown up...lol...Plus,I always leave the store with my phone in a case..

I miss the micro sd... Bit getting a 256gb is also good... But little tricks Samsung had in older gens are still missing

No word on the fact that using the camera for more than 15 min will make it heat up till it burns your hands. Especially on videoconferencing apps (teams, messenger, whatsup). Super review!
I have a note 20 ultra but im upgrading to the s21 ultra. I haven't had an "s line" phone since the s7 edge but the circular corners and the camera, battery, and wQHD+ with 120mhz is what is drawing me in. Supposed to get it today! Only thing i didn't like is no SD card expansion but watch they add it back next year. Its all good though I have one drive, google photos etc. Not the end of the world.

Anyone else have problems with the fingerprint reader? I'm having a terrible experience, even with touch sensitivity on.
Nope, at first it took me time to know where the sensor was, and failed sometimes, but now i unlock it sooo fast on my s21. Maybe register your fingerfrint more times and in different positions idk
I re-registered a million times. Same problem. What you should try is disabling eye unlock - something about my device made it find my fingerprint more accurately.

"Lacking of Charging Brick in the box". They actually do give you charging brick, it is inside the wireless charging box. It is a Super Fast Charging AC adapter with 1 .0M data cable.
Recording using both cameras is a festurete that was active since galaxy s5. I had one, I'm really impressed that this festure is not available in newer versions of galaxy A or M

I traded in my Note 10 Plus for the Ultra about 2 weeks ago. Really enjoying it. The only downside is that my battery life seems roughly the same at around 6 hours in screen time compared to what you're getting at 9.
I have the Note 10 Plus is it a significant upgrade or should I wait to see if there is a Note 21 Ultra.
@@tylongkicks8821 Tmobile is giving a $800 credit for a Note 10 Plus trade in, as well as also getting $200 Samsung credit. If it weren't for those, I feel the Note 10 would be good to go for at least another year. The camera is definitely better, so if that's a priority I'd look into upgrading. If not, wait for the Note 21 Ultra.

Just picked mine up. After a cracked screen on my 9 plus set my upgrade by 2 months. I've never cared about the cameras on phones. I figure my nikon slr beats any phone cameras. I figure that's why the bloated price tag, but like I told the sales associate, screw it, you only live once and spent the 1k plus. Definitely the best Android phone right now. Of the year? Probably. Get one if you can.

Register more than one fingerprints to make it easier if you have problems with the unlocking. No need to "press hard", because simply doesn't work on pressure! I saw that you did it every time. You need to tap not long press.
I love this phone and I like your personal approach to reviewing the S 21 Ultra! However If you covered the cameras spects , wireless charging, and IP rating, it would really help consumers to make a informed decision, when considering the pro's and cons about this phone. I love my s21 ultra and the way it looks, I even got the clear otterbox so I can still see in it a case.
I have an S10+. I'll be upgrading to the S22 Ultra when it launches, but might wait until June to get it, so that I don't have to use my credit card to buy it. Will keep my S10+ as backup.
Not sure why it took me so long to subscribe to your page, but I just did. I've watched your videos for quite some time now and appreciate how your reviews seem to cater to the everyday man & woman. I'm a tech-nerd and catch up on stuff all the time even if I have no intention to purchase stuff. I DID get the S21 Ultra though. So many of the RUclips channels I watch seem to concentrate way too much on stuff the average consumer literally doesn't care or even know about. Don't get me wrong, a lot of that info is useful, but a great deal seems to be given simply to impress viewers and it seems like serious overkill to me. I like the niche you provide and appreciate your no-nonsense delivery. As someone in broadcasting, I genuinely dislike people who try to do "announcer mode" when recording themselves and it sounds silly and absurd. I much prefer a natural delivery such as yours. Thank you for all the work you do preparing these videos. They are truly informative and fun to watch. In today's world, that is saying a lot. Kudos to you!

I love my S21Ultra, but I'm still bothered by the missing expandable storage and how the S-Pen didn't have a great storage solution. With on your storage issues, Samsung! 😁

I had some battery issues on my S21 Ultra 512 snapdragon model, but I fixed them. Currently my percentage is at 74%, with an onscreen time of 2 hours, and last full charge was 23hr 18min, without a full charge or some charge. I have the phone on FHD, 60hz, 4GLTE. I have WiFi scanning off, Play protect scanning off in the google play store, location off (as well as wifi and Bluetooth scan for accuracy). I do have the adaptive battery on. That is the only option that I use, I do not use the power saving feature. I have force dark mode option on in developer settings. I have noticed because I have T-mobile as well that 5G even though it is better, will use more power from your device, especially if you don't have good signal, I was a communications guy in the military and it will run your battery down quicker than 4GLTE. If you wanna test the quality of your 5G and see how effective it is I just turned mine on right now, go to about phone, status info, and select Sim card status, my signal strength on 5G is -111 dBm which is pretty crappy signal, even though everything is running smooth. I switched to 4GLTE and checked my signal is -87 which is better and less battery drain than 5G. You will in reality want a level between high -70s and mid -80s, but the rule is the closer the number is to 0 the better your signal will be, but in reality I have seen my phone, not just this one but the lowest I ever seen was probably -70. The last thing I forgot to say is I go to my apps, and select the app, then select Mobile data, if you do not want that app running in the background select "Allow background data usage" off and "allow data usage while data saver is on" off. I've done this for the majority of my apps, only left my RUclips, amazon Music, messaging, and probably like 5 more apps turned on for this. Hope this helps lemme know if you have any questions. Almost forgot Sync is off. Also last thing the quality and building materials that the building you are in plays a huge role, if it has to use more battery because it is struggling to get a signal and is always scanning, then it will drain your battery more. I would turn on your wifi and wifi calling and disable your data, you will still receive text messages with this option off. Hope this helps!

If you want to get rid of banner ads on a Samsung phone do this, go to settings, connections, more connections, scroll down to DNS, type in dns.adguard.com, save. No more banner ads in Samsung apps
I was really not impressed with any phone to upgrade to until this Ultra, I've been looking for a year. I have a S7 Edge that was limping along, it was shy 1 month of being 5 years old. I wasn't impressed with the S20 and the price got me looking for other options. I wasn't impressed with Pixel 4, waited for Pixel 5 on advice from my sons but I wasn't impressed and returned it. The screen was so dull compared to Samsung's OLED and I really wanted something larger not smaller.
I was about to get an S20 FE but luckily I starting seeing articles and videos about the S21 and knew this was going to be my next phone. I splurged for the Ultra 512gb since its been 5 years since I bought a phone. I will start traveling soon and was also looking for a SLR camera to share pictures from but I decided I won't bother with a separate camera now since I bought this S21 Ultra, so it actually saved me money in that sense.
I absolutely love it, the screen, the sound, the speed, the camera. I'm happy with it. I preordered and got $200 accessory credit so I picked up the Pro Earbuds (wonderful sound) and a case and also got a free Smart Tag.
I was watching you use the thumb sensor and hit the off button on the side to sign in again, did you know you can tap the screen twice to turn it on and off (you probably do)? I just recently discovered that little trick.

I got mine with the trade-in deal got the 128 gig for only $400 with free buds, not only was it the best deal I've ever gotten for a phone but this is the best phone I've ever owned. I agree with everything you said here it has its little quirks here and there but nothing can compete with it right now for me.

Hi Thao, I was looking at replacing the head unit in my truck with a android unit. Came across your review on the Galaxy Tab S7 along with some of the tips and tricks and ended up just getting a Galaxy Tab Active Pro since it's rugged. I love it so far and will come in extra handy when going camping and hitting the road. Subbed.
The camera module becomes very hot when you use them. It freaked me out when I touched them. But the photos are great.

I love your videos beautiful lady, I got the S21 Ultra on the Phantom black from Amazon UK but when I did the Pre-order to get the free gifts I wanted the 256 gb but out of stock except the silver one & I really wanted the black one, but anyway so far I’m getting on well with the 128gb storage of the phone, I just love it I find it hard to put it down is just got so much to offer the S21 Ultra & the cameras yeah amazing & I’m also getting 2 days battery on it & with my old 25 watts fast charger I use from my galaxy s10 lite, I can fully charge it from 15% to 100% in just 1 hour, Samsung has definitely cracked it with this S21 Ultra, best Android smartphone u can buy right now like I said I’m loving it, u stay safe & thanks for all your great videos peace ✌️

Nothing ultra when they removed the expandable memory (and also charger and earlier on, headphone jack)... It is so funny we quietly accept these cuts as "industry practice". There are good alternatives that don't cut these corners. Xperia 1 III comes to mind. Instead of cutting, Sony reintroduced all these features, and then add 120Hz refresh rate while maintaining 4K on their OLED screen! Also true optical 70mm + 105mm zoom on a single lens (no down sampling) and 20 fps with eye AF for humans and animals!
Since you like taking animal shots, you should really check out the Xperia 1 III when it comes out soon.

Something that no other popular reviewer does that I would appreciate is going over the materials on the sides of the phone. A LOT of premium android and Samsung phones are made out of polished aluminum that just looks like it’s stainless steel and I find that misleading. Many reviewers fall in the trap of just calling it stainless steel
Hello Thao...I used to be a Samsung devotee and now i have my second OnePlus phone.They have amazing battery life,one of the fastest recharge rates,90HZ,and the charger comes with it,at $700.I have an open line,so I am thinking about getting back to Samsung,yet I am hesitant because for over $1000,i should have a charger and whatever else i need.I do have 2 Samsung tablets,still have my Note 3,and I wish they would bring back three things..IR Blaster..External storage..headphone jack..I NEVER use wireless headphones nor bluetooth devices on my head.I need to see if they can offer me a good price or include a charger.I am ok with no external storage,nor how it looks,weight,size,because I'm a grown up...lol...Plus,I always leave the store with my phone in a case..

Links to some of the things you reference would be great, and adding a time line in the details would make it perfect. That way if we wanted to show friends certain cool features, they would be easy to find. Please consider doing that in the future. I went from note 4 to 9 to 10 and now 21 and the speed and smoothness of this new phone is absolutely noticeable and worth the upgrade.
